WALK IN CHRIST

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you all are blessed and highly favored on today.  I speak that a spirit of peace and joy will overtake you as you are seeking the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Colossians 2:6-8), As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him; strengthen in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thanksgiving.  See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

To receive Jesus Christ is to have consented to Him, taken Him for ours in every relation and every capacity.  If you are a Christian, the great command for you is to walk with Him.  You must walk with Him in your daily course and keep up communication with Him.  The more closely that you walk with Christ the more you will become rooted and grounded. 

 

You cannot be built up in Christ, unless you are first rooted in Him.  You must be united to Him by having lively faith, and heartily consent to His covenant.  You must be established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein, and this with thanksgiving.  The way to have the full benefits and comfort of God's grace is to have faith and just begin giving thanks to the Lord for it. 

Such a study of the works of God has to leads you to the knowledge of God and confirm your faith in Jesus Christ.  But there are other philosophy's which is vain and deceitful, which is prejudicial to religion, and set up the wisdom of man in competition with the wisdom of God.  While it pleases men's fancies, it ruins their faith. 

 

People have mixed the philosophy of people that refuse to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God with their Christian principles. If they are practices other religion that does not preach the Word of God they have alienated their minds from Christ and they want you to follow them.  Meaning that if you don't stay rooted in Jesus Chris someone can easily come to you and confuse your faith and knowledge if you don't know or have wisdom in the Word of God.  Their are a lot deceivers in the world are in competition with it Christians, and will try to contradict your beliefs.

 

You are complete in Christ.  He is the Lord and head of all the powers in heave and earth, of angels and men. I pray that this message will be a blessing to you and give you knowledge when it comes to people that don't believe in Jesus Christ and the fact that Christ died, rose again and shed His blood so that you and I can receive salvation through Him.  Because of your belief and unwavering faith in Christ after you depart from this world you will spend eternity with the Lord Jesus Christ.  Praise God, Amen!

PRESS TOWARDS THE GOAL

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I praise the Lord Jesus for each of you and you are always in my prayers.  More than anything, I pray that you have been blessed by the Lord's daily messages.  I always say, the Lord's message because I wait for Him to give me the scriptures and messages by studying the Word.

 

(Philippians 3:13-15), Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and strainig toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  All of us who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.  Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

 

The Apostle Paul wrote this letter while he was in prison.  In the first part of the scripture, Paul is basically stating that He is not perfect.  In Paul's past life, he was a tax collector and a murdered, yet God used him to minister to others.  Paul had repented from his past behavior and became one of Jesus Christ disciples.  He states that he is forgetting about his past sins and pushing towards what is ahead of him.  You can never go forward if you are still looking at your past and still not working towards getting to heaven.  Paul's goal of a Christian is to be with the Lord Jesus in heaven.  That is what he works towards in his daily activities.  In the latter part of the scriptures, Paul is saying that if Christians are in disagreement over the scriptures don't get upset with each other, stay on course and God will give you the knowledge the scriptures.  Then Paul is saying that we should live up to to knowledge that you already have.  You are not ignorant to the things that God desires of you in order to walk in His plans for your life.

 

Woman of God, if you are a Christian your main goal should be to seek the Lord God daily so that you will get your reward in heaven. Your reward in heaven is a crown of glory.  Your daily life and behavior should be striveing towards your higher calling which is to live in eternity with Jesus Christ in heaven.  All of your past sins are forgotten by the Lord, so you should forget what is behind you.  If you are trying to make up for your past behavior, it cannot be done.  Forget your sins that are in the past and keep aiming forward towards Christ Jesus.

 

Share with others that don't in darkness about the love of Christ.  There are a numerous of people that are in need for you to minister to them about the Lord's compassion, mercy and grace that He has towards them.  If you think that you have to earn the Lord's love, you are wasting precious time by looking at your past sins, which God has forgotten.  You cannot earn God's love, it is given freely to those of us that have proclaimed that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and Christ has died for the sins of the world. Meaning that just because you are a minister God doesn't love you more than the persons sitting in the pews, the homeless people that you pass by everyday or a person that is dealing with addiction.  Everyone should know that God's love is unconditionally.  He loves you in spite of your sinful nature.  God hates sin, but He will always love the sinner, if you repent and pray for forgiveness.  Your goal as as Christian is to press towards heaven where you will receive your crown.  The Lord God knows that you are not perfect, yet if you are in His perfect will; you will receive your reward in heaven.  Praise God, Amen!

YOU WERE CHOSEN

Good Morning, Woman of God!

I pray that you are all safe and had a joyous holiday.  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your lives.  I pray for those that are seeking employment that the Lord God will bless you and your finances.

 

(Romans 8:28-33), And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the first born among many brothers.  And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.  What, then, shall we say in response to this?  If God is for us, who can be against us?  He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?  Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen?  It is God who justifies.

 

Woman of God, you were predestined in the likeness of Christ,  chosen by Him before you were even born.  The Lord wants you to understand that if you love Him, and get in line with His purpose; then there is nothing that He won't do for you.  Since the Lord God predestined you he has called you to be a workman for Him.  If you get are called by Him and love Him, He will justify you, glorify you and graciously give you all things.  You have to get in line with the Lord's pupose for your life, then He will justify and glorify you, in front of your enemies.  He will make your enemies your footstool.  There is no one that will be against you as long as you are in His perfect will for your lives.

 

God the Father sacrificed His own Son for you.  Why would He not give you all things to make sure that all things will work out for you.  You are called for His purpose.  If you are not lined up with God, then He is not going to be with you in your times of distress.  God's will for your life is that you work for Him by being a servant towards all people.  He will make your path straight so that you can accomplish His will for your life.  Not only will He make your path straigth but He will also justify and glorify you in the presence of your enemies.  He will place people in your life that will give you favor.  The Lord God is for you if you are doing what He has purposed for your life.

 

The most valuable message in the scripture is that you where called.  If you are in the position that the Lord God has predestined you for then He will make sure that you are blessed and highly favored.  He will make sure that no one is against you; so as you go about doing the Lord's business, He is moving anything that will go against your work for Him.  Continue to be a workman for Christ and don't worry about the issues in your life because Christ is in the midst.  He is making sure that all things are working together for you because you love Him and were called according to His purpose. 

 

Find out what the Lord's purpose is for your life.  All of you were given a talent before you were born.  Use your talent to glorify the Lord.  If you have a talent of singing, use it to glorify Him; a talent for compassion, get into a ministry that calls for people to be compassionate to those that are not saved; a talent for writing use that to write about God's grace and mercy; a talent for administrative work, you can use that to work in the office of the church.  If you are good in accounting, use that for the churches billing.  There are so many talents that I cannot name them all, but you know in your heart what the Lord has placed on the inside of you.  Your spirit will not be at peace until you find out what God's purpose and perfect will is for your life.  Once you are lined up with God, it is He that will make all things work together for you.  If you and God are working together on the same thing, which is to lead all to the Body of Christ, He will make sure that you have anything that your desire, and not only that, He will make sure that you have the finances to accomplish His will.  Why wouldn't God give you what you need if you both are working towards the same goal?  Praise God!  Amen!

JUMP START

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

Happy Holidays, this is the last day that you get to barbeque . . . LOL.  I pray that you all have a safe holiday and that you are blessed and the Lord God covers you with His grace and mercy.

(Isaiah 38:1-5), In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death.  And Isaiah the prophet son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order for thou shalt die, and not live.  Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the Lord.  And said, Remeber now; O Lord, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight, And Hezekiah wept sore.  Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David my father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

I remember when I first joined the church in South Holland  I rode the train for thirty minutes and the whole time, I was reading my bible.  I prayed everyday and joined two ministries.  I showed up for every meeting.  I went to Women's Conferences over the weekends.  I was on fire for the Lord.  I was so excited the the day that I got baptized, then I joined the Body of Christ.  I ministered to everyone in my family and on the streets.  Because of my dedication to the Lord, my family noticed a change in my attitude and behavior.  My mother joined the church, although she was brought up in a Catholic.  My sister and her family then joined the church.  The entire roll was taken up by my family members and I was happy that they were saved.  I went to bible study, Sunday school and any other classes that I could attend after work.  I earned my Teachers Certificate.  Before my family would start our Thankgiving dinner, we went to the church, made plates for people and ministered to them.

 

Somewhere down the road, I lost my fire.  The flame slowly became a flicker and I did not notice that devil was on the prowl for me.  I slowly stopped attending Sunday school, saying in my mind that I didn't have time.  I went to Bible Study every once in a while.  I know longer took classes after work, saying that I was too tired.  My flames went out, I didn't even have a flicker.  I needed a recharge.  Just like when your battery dies, you need jumper cables to restart your car.  Restarting your car is only a temporary solution, you need to take it to a mechanic and find out the reason why your car needs a "jump start".  I had lost my connection with the Lord and I needed a "jump start:"

 

Satan will always give you a reason as to why you don't need to attend church services or church events.  He will put anything in your path to stop you from working for the Lord; he wants your flame to go out completely.  He wants you to be detoured and distracted with the things of the world. 

 

Woman of God, my question to you is have you lost your flame?  Do you have a flicker left in you?  If you are experiencing an issue that I experienced, then you need a "jump start."  If you have stopped witnesses and having a heart for the Lord, you need a "jump start".  That "jump start" will only take care of your problem for a moment.  You will need to rekindle your relationship with the Lord.  You have lost your vision, your purpose and have stepped out of the will of God.  You need to return back to church, bible study, Sunday school and other church events that will rekindle your relationship with the Lord.  Hezekiah got sick because he lost his flame. Hezekiah spoke to the Lord, reminding Him of all the things that he used to do.  He repented, prayed and cried out to the Lord God.  Then God told Hezekiah that He heard his prayers, saw his tears and restored him. 

 

My prayer for you is that you will never let your flame go out.  Don't let the enemy cause you to need a "jump start".  But if you are in that position, repent and cry out to the Lord, and allow Him to rekindle your relationship with Him. Just like Hezekiah, He has not forgotten all your labor and works for Him.  He is waiting for you and He desires to restore your faith in Him.  Give God the praise!  Amen!

TOXIC TALK

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you have a blessed weekend and holiday.  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your lives.

 

(Deuteronomy 1:27-31), You grumbled in your tents and said, "The Lord hates us; so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us.  Where can we go?  Our brothers have made us lose heart.  They say, "The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky.  We even saw the Anakites there."  Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them.  The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert.

 

Woman of God, this scripture describes how the people of Egypt were suppose to conquer the land that was promised to them by God.  They sent out ten spies to see how they could take over the land that was filled with milk and honey.  They came back with a bad report, saying that the people were giants and stronger than they were.  They believed their brothers report that they ccould not defeat them.  The Lord God had to remind them of how He delivered them out of Egypt and was with them night and day.  God provided manna and water for them daily.  Now the Lord God is telling them not to be afraid because He will fight for them.

 

Look at that scripture closely; notice that the people said their brothers brought back a bad report of the land that the Lord God had promies them.  They did not say that the Lord God told them that they would be defeated.  The spies went out on their own knowledge, they never thought about the knowledge of God.  There will always be people in your life that will try to deter you from going further in your life.  If God tells you that you are going to be blessed and you are line up with His purpose for your life, following His instructions, then that is exactly what will happen.  The people of Egypt looked at their circumstances and in their minds they were already defeated.

 

Sometimes the way that we are thinking is "toxic talk".  We have a defeated attitude instead of trusting in the Lord God.  Does the Lord God have to remind you of all the times that He was with you during your trials?  Are you listening to the Lord God or your friends?  You have to trust the Lord God and get rid of any "toxic talk" around you.  "Toxic talk" is when you are constantly saying to yourself that you cannot overcome your circumstances.  "Toxic talk" is when your friends and family members are telling you that you cannot achieve something and you believe them instead of believing the Lord God.  "Toxic talk is when you look at your situation and say, you aren't going to make it and how are you going to do what the Lord God says without this or that?  If the Lord God has give you an assignment, He will provide the means for you to accomplish it.  He will make a way out of no way that you can visible see.  He will have people that you don't even know give to you.  He will make your enemies your footstool.  He will put righteous people in your path.  Don't give in to "toxic talk".  Immediately run from it.  Don't entertain "toxic talk" because it can be embedded in your spirit.  Keep "toxic talk" out of your mind  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!  Toxic Friendshps and conversation can be contagious.

PITY PARTIES

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord.  That you walk in the Lord's grace and mercy on today.  Have a blessed weekend!

 

(Isaiah 61), ....to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

 

I got a phone call from my son on today.  He was very upset so he tends to ramble on without taking a breath.  He just talked about how bad his life has been every since childhood.  Now, he didn't have a bad home life, he begin with getting bit in the face by a dog, twice.  He talked about how he was talked about by his classmates about the scars.  My son is very handsome and the scars are barely noticeable because it happened when he was very young.  He complained about bills, job, apartment, food and the worst thing was that he got stabbed on my birthday.  He saids his life is over and the age of 29.  I am 48 years old and I must say that he hasn't even begun to live.  Most of you are about my children's age, so if you think you have seen the worst, I hate to break it to you, you haven't.  The more the devil tries to put on you, the bigger the blessing that God has on your life.

 

I was very upset that my son was going through so much and I wish I could exchange places with him, because he is my son.  No mother wants to hear about their children's painful situations.  At the time that he called I was listening to worship music.  I started to go to his "pity party" and just started to feel down.  Then all of a sudden, I heard the Lord say, "don't do that".  So I started tuning into the music and prayed while my son was talking.  He was rambling on and on and every now and then he would make sure that I was still listening to him.  I would acknowledge that I was still on the phone, but one ear was listening to the music and my mind stayed on the Jesus. I had refused not to let no devil in hell still my joy and I was not going to his "pity party" today.  In the past I attended my sons "pity party" every time he would call complaining.  I also realized that my son wasn't the only one that the devil was after because of my blessings that the Lord has for me, the enemy wants me to stop working on my book and planning to minister at the shelter and holding a women's conference next year.

 

When my son got through, I started praying for him, I mean I went into spiritual warfare and told the devil where he can go.  I spoke blessings over my son and declared that the Lord will show Himself strong in my son's life.  My son has come a long way and I refuse to let the enemy get him back.

 

My message to you is, never go to your children's "pity party".  Listen to them so that you will know what to pray and let the enemy know that he can't have them. You have to know what the bible says about your children and how to speak the scriptures over them.  That is why it is very important for you to recognize what is happening and what scriptures to speak over you and your children.  The bible says, to speak the Word of God over them.  Just like you can curse people with your mouth, you can surely bless them and yourself by speaking the Word of God over any situation.  When you are having your own "pity party" refuse to stay there.  Take a good look at the circumstances and find joy in every situation.  My son was bit in the face, but he is still alive, thank you Jesus.  My son complaining about his job, thank you Jesus, that even in this economy, I have a job.  My son complained about his apartment, thank you Jesus, I have a roof over my head.  He complained about not having enough money, thank you Jesus, I have some money.  He has to eat at his grandmother's, thank you Jesus I have a family that I can depend on.  That is how you shake the devil off of you and your children.  The devil wants you to attend "pity parties" or have one yourself.  He cannot stand it when you praise the Lord, I mean he really hates it.  If all you think about are the bad things that you are going through he will have succeeded in stealing your joy and he is laughing at you.  Praise the Lord when you are going through fiery trials and you will turn the tables on the enemy and you will be the one laughing.  Please remember, before the party begins, quote scriptures instead of the bad things, you will find something to praise Jesus for, even if it's only for dying on the cross so that you can live eternity in heaven with Him.  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!

PEER PRESSURE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your lives.  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored and that the ministry has been a blessing to you.

(1 Corinthians 15:58), Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you knw that your labor in the ord is not in vain.

Christians deal with a lot of peer pressure.  Once you have decided to dedicate your life to Jesus Christ, your friends and family that are not saved, will always try to pressure you into doing the same old things.  They don't want you to try to change.  For some reason, being a Christian can be intimidating to people that are not Christians.  Peer pressure comes in because just like your friends don't want you to change your life, neither does Satan.  He will use your peers to try to keep you in darkness and keep you from getting delivered from things that you need to give up in order to live righteous before the Lord.  Christians deal with a lot of peer pressure because the enemy knows that he just lost a soul and Christ has gained a sheep.

Sometimes we tend to try to play both sides of the fence.  When want to keep our friends that we know we should not hang around, and we want to praise and worship the Lord.  It's very difficult to play both sides of the fence.  I tried it and it doesn't work.  What will happen is that the greater spirit will eventually win your soul.  If you are having difficulty dealing with peer pressure, keep going to church.  Keep your bible even closer because the enemy will try to use people to keep you from fulfilling God's purpose for your life.  Your peers don't even know that the enemy is using them to keep you from reaching your destiny in Christ.  If you are dealing with peer pressure, pray that the Lord God will put people in your life that will be able to keep you lifted up and will accept your decision to become a Christian.  Pray that God will lead you to the right people that will be able to make positive deposits in your life and not withdraws.

We all have experienced peer pressure once we got saved.  Once you become a Christian, your desire is to change, that is why you made the choice to be a Christian, but the change can be difficult if you don't have the right type of people around you.  You still want to hang out at the club with your friends, but on the other hand you want to do what is right before God.  You don't want them to start talking about you behind your back, but if they do it because you have decided to be a Christian, then the truth of the matter is that they always did talk behind your back.  Now they just talk about something different.  If you are hanging around people that prefer that you to stay the same way, that's peer pressure.

Once I decided to give my life fully to the Lord, I mean make a decision to stop partying, doing drugs and drinking the peers in my life changed.  God gave me some new friends.  God gave me a new dance and song in my heart.  I never looked down on people, I just knew what I wanted for my life and that was to fulfill God's purpose for me.  I wanted a change, my peers didn't want me to change because they thought that I thought that I was better than them.  I never gave them a thought at all.  If you are dealing with peer pressure, I understand.  I also understand how hard it is to give up your old nature.  It's like turning in your old wardrobe for new clothes.  You don't know how they are going to look when you put them on, but you know that you want a change.  God bless you.
