THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Today's post is one that is in my book, "Spiritual Growth - Breaking Shackles".  I thought this would be a great story to tell about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I will bring together the O.T. and N.T blessings of God, through His Son, the Lamb of God.

Exodus (12:12-13), For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt, I will execute judgment; I am the Lord.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

1 Peter (1:18-19), Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things; as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.  Who by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Hebrews (9:12), Neither by blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood had he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us?

In the days of the Old Testament, in order to be cleanse from your sins, the towns people would have to go to the market to purchase a lamb.  This lamb had to be clean, new.  God gave Moses specific instructions for the Hebrew slaves during the time that the firstborn of everything (man and animals), were going to be struck by the plague of death.  The Hebrew were instructed to place the blood of the lamb over their door post.  When the plague of death went throughout the land of Egypt, the blood over their door post spared all the people that were gathered in that home.

Woman of God, let me quickly put bring those scriptures together to see just how merciful and loving God is towards us (His creation).  The Hebrew slaves were saved by the blood of  a lamb, we who were born into slaves are redeemed (bought back, paid for); by the blood of THE LAMB.  Not just any ole lamb would do.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world.  He was the sacrificial Lamb of God.  This had to be done just once.  When you decided to accept God's gift (His LAMB),  decided to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord, Savior, Redeemer, His blood is now upon your doorpost.  Because of the Blood of the Lamb, the devil passes over your home (you and your family all that are in the home).

The Passover Dinner was to remind the Hebrew slaves that because of God's loving-kindness, the death penalty passed over them.  My prayer for you is that you have accepted God's sacrifice for you, (Jesus Christ, THE LAMB OF GOD)  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly father, I thank You for redeeming me, purchasing me through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Father I know that there is nothing that I have done, or could ever do to deserve Your gift.  Speak to my heart Lord, that I may truly understand the power of Your blood and how much You gave because of Your mercy and compassion towards me, in Jesus Name, Amen.

S.G.W.M. MISSION STATEMENT

Mighty woman of God, I am sharing with you the Mission Statement for "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry, in hope that you will understand and why I do what I do when it comes to women.  I have prayed with or prayed for some of you.  I pray that you have all been blessed and comforted through the gift that the Holy Spirit has given to me to blessed you and glorify Him.

God has given me the Mission Statement for this ministry.

(Isaiah (61:1-3), The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

I had a difficult time accepting this charge from God for the ministry because it seemed to me to be carrying quite a burden.  The other reason why it seemed to be difficult to was a question to God, "How am I supposed to do all that?"  God's reply, "Write it down, meditate on My Word, and allow my Spirit to accomplish my Word.  It's not about you and as soon as you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, my Word or plans for you will not return unto me, void".

The words that are highlighted in the scripture are highlighted for a reason.

  • the poor, the women that are poor in their hearts.  They need to be rich with the flowing of the Holy Spirit
  • bind up the brokenhearted.  Women that have had their hearts broken by abuse and trials do to trusted others that have caused a broken-heart reaction in them
  • freedom for the captives.  The demonic spirits that keep them captives in their hearts.  Not only in their hearts, but believing what the devil has said concerning their future
  • comfort all those who mourn.  Women mourn in their hearts because of this system of the world.  They have been pushed and shoved so many times that their hearts mourn
  • a crown of beauty, instead of ashes.  Beauty is not on the outside but the inside.  A beautiful spirit and heart needs to be a replacement for ashes (what the demonic spirits have burned up)
  • oil of gladness.  The anointing of My Spirit upon them so that they will no longer mourn in their hearts.
  • garment of praise.  Put on a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.  Heaviness that also begins in the heart.  Praise anyhow.
  • righteousness in the eyes of God
  • planting seeds in the generation of women to come and God will be glorified through your beautiful spirit.  A tree planted by the Living Waters (which is Christ Jesus)
Word for word what the Holy Spirit has given to me for each of you.  Please pray that the Spirit of the Lord will open your heart to not only hear the Word but believe that you are a valuable part of God's plan and purpose for your life.

Heavenly Father, I give you honor and praise for Your Word.  I pray Father that Your message will comfort and encourage Your beautiful women.  That they will receive Your Word and know without a doubt that You are with them always, and will never, never, never leave them alone or forsake them.  Father for the women that are not sure if they heart Your voice, by the power of the Holy Spirit I, though Christ Jesus I speak life unto them and that they receive a gift of discern and knowledge.  Speak to their hearts as only You can, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen!

YOUR SISTER'S KEEPER

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ as you follow after Him.

(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:  If one falls down, her friend can help her up.  But pity the woman who falls and has no one to help her up!  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone? Though one many be overpowered, two can defend themselves, A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

In not directed today's message towards anyone in particular, I am expressing myself as fed up.  Fed up at the way that we (those of us whom call ourselves Christian women), tearing each other down every chance we get.  The reason why I am speaking to those that are Christian women is because the meaning of a Christian is not a religion, it is a lifestyle.  A lifestyle to at least put forth the effort to live Christ-like.

The reason why so many women enjoy the company of a male as a best friend is because men don't compete as much as women do.  We have all sorts of reasons why we decide not to befriends another woman.  Her hair is too short, too long, wrong color.  She weighs too much or not enough.  She looks at you funny or looks at your man too long.  Her shoes are the wrong color, too high or you just don't like them.  She has too much money or not enough money.  She dresses too expensive looking or too cheap looking.  My point is that somewhere down the line, women have developed the need to compete with each other, instead of completing one another.

Woman of God, this message is for those of you that truly desire a release and a spiritual shift in your relationship with God and in your prayer life.  If you don't have at least one godly friend then you need to pray that the Lord will send you one.  You need a friend that is spiritually connected to God.  Your friend should be able to discern whether or not you are dealing with some issues in your life without even telling her.  A Godly woman understands that you don't need a "girl let me tell you what I would do" advice.  Meaning, she will never talk down on you or about you.  She won't post your business on Facebook or Twitter.  More importantly, she knows how to say "I'm sorry".  In turn, if this is the type of friendship that you desire, you must also be of the same spirit.  We need more prayer lines than prey lines.  True sister's in Christ, should be able to tell the other when she is wrong about a situation and still be friends.  True sister's in Christ, pray not prey for each other.  True sister's in Christ don't get jealous when one gets a title in church.  True sister's in Christ don't offend one another but defend one another.  If you and your sister in Christ are going through a spiritual battle, instead of talking about your situations together, start praying together and watch God shift in the spiritual realm, turning it around for your good.  All things work together for the good, to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  One can chase a thousand, two can chase ten thousand.

I have spoken with so many women through this ministry that have been scorned badly by other women in the church.  Even to the point that I have to earn their trust.  Which I pray that I have done, through this ministry.  I too, have been scorned badly in the Body of Christ, by not only one but two First Lady's of the church.  It was such an ugly situation that even my children have had trust issues when it comes to people in the church.  The best thing that came out of both situations was that I served Christ by serving them.  If I would have looked for my reward from them, I would have been damaged both spiritually and emotionally.  PRAISE GOD!

PROMISES . . . PROMISES

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Today's message is another blessing from the Lord to you.  I should say us because I just realized that the messages on FAITH this week are for me.

I have heard horror stories from many saints of God about how they were tested by God, when they ask Him to increase or strengthen their FAITH.  At that point I was dead set on not asking God for any spiritual gifts and definitely not asking God to increase my FAITH.  In fear of what I would have to endure has kept me from asking for a boost in the area of FAITH on this spiritual journey.  There have been quite a few tribulations and storms that I have overcome through God.  In truth, I should be dead.  I decided that I would ask God to strengthen my FAITH.  I realize that I need a little more to be able to make it through this next level in my spiritual journey.

While on my walk and talk time with God, He gave me an awesome revelation, something to ponder on, which really blessed by spirit.  I listened carefully to the Spirit of the Lord (Holy Spirit).  He said, "Promises that you make are  only able for you to keep because they are contingent on someone else keeping their promise".  Meaning if I tell someone that I will give them fifty dollars, once I get paid, then that promise is contingent upon someone else.  If that person doesn't keep their promise, then I cannot keep my promise.  In fact, any promises that we make to someone will always going to be contingent on someone or something else, which means that promises made to you or from you can be broken.

God has promised through His Word that the fruit of your womb is blessed.  When your children are going their own wayward way, you need to speak that word over their life.  I don't care what age your child is, you still need to speak the Word of God over them.  Just as God has a plan and purpose for your child, so does Satan.  It is never too late to start speaking the Word of God over your children.  Mother, God knows your children far better than you do.

Woman of God, God knows your husband far better than you do.  He created your husband.  If you are at a point in your marriage where you feel overwhelmed and things seem to be at a point where communication seems to always in up in an argument; pray asking God to reveal to you the correct way to speak to your husband that will not lead into an argument.  Most couples have a hard time communicating only because one person thinks that the other person is saying something that they really are not.  Speak the Word of God over your marriage and believe God will keep His promise.

You may not see the hand of God working in your marriage or your children, but a promise is a promise and it will always come to pass.  Lean on God, have FAITH that if He said it, it's a promise.  Those who God regards as righteous trust in Him alone, resting wholly in His promises that He will accomplish His purposes even when that seems impossible from a human perspective.

God says, "I am not a man. I am the Creator, not the creation.  I don't rely on anyone (any man) to
to keep my promises to you, my daughter.  My Word is My Word, it will not come back to Me void (undone).  My promise to you is never contingent on man.  My promise is my Word.  Again, I need no one else.   Though it may tarry, it shall surely come to pass.  Trusting that God will do what He says He will do will always increase your FAITH.  I Am, that I Am.

WORST-CASE SCENARIO

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ on today.  It looks like the Spirit of the Lord wants us to stay on lessons of FAITH this week, what a blessing.

(Isaiah 43:5-7), Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

You know, that there are times when we have looked at a situation and we go over it in our mind.  This is plan a, plan b and this is the worst-case scenario.  In other words if plans a or b doesn't work we think about what is the worst that can happen.  If we put God in our plan a and plan b, we would not have to have a worst-case scenario.  It is only when people put there trust in themselves or man that we mess up therefore putting ourselves in the worst-case scenario situation.  If you don't have a relationship with God, you have already started the plan in the worst-case scenario mode.  If you don't have that mountain moving faith that it will take for you to get from victim to victorious, you will end up in the worst-case scenario.

When the worst comes upon us, we can take our hearts to this God and hear Him say: "Fear not.  I have purchased you".  The first seven verses of the chapter make clear, God is present with us in our affliction.  Even when we are being punished for disobedience, He is with us in the midst of the fire so that we shall not be burned; even if we are overwhelmed by floods of sorrow, He is with us so that we shall not drown.  When the worst comes upon us and we feel exposed, alone, and ashamed, we hear God reminding us that He is with us in our affliction.  Here's another exhortation: "Fear not. I am present with you."  When the worst case scenario occurs in your life, run straight to this scripture  and hear the Spirit of the Lord shout, "Fear not, I have purchased you.  I am present with you.  I love you, my daughter."

Sometimes it can be very difficult for us to see God's hand and mercy while we are in the storm.  We cannot possible know exactly how God is going to turn things around, but we have to have mountain moving faith that He will.  We can only see what lies ahead with our vision, not God's.  Our vision of a situation is never the same as God's, therefore putting our trust in Him is the only way to be sure that even in our worst-case scenario mode, we will be victorious.

Habakkuk was told that the righteous are those who, in the days of trouble, believe God and His Word despite what they can see with their limited vision.  This kind of belief requires a complete entrusting of oneself into the hands of the Lord alone, a commitment to walking by faith and not by sight.  Such faith means looking beyond one's present circumstances in confident assurance that our holy creator will fulfill all of His promises.  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for mercy and kindness towards me.  Forgive me Lord of my sins, those things that I have said or done that did not bring glory to Your name.  My prayer today, Father is that You keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind stayed on You.  Even in the midst of the floods all around me, Father, I thank You that You are with me.  Father, we I feel like I am in worst-case scenario mode, remind me that You will never leave nor forsake me.  Guard my heart and hide me from the enemy, in Jesus name, Amen!

2013 WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

Woman of God,

I held my first of many women conference in the Chicagoland area on May 25, 2013.  As I sat on the airplane and listened to my favorite worship cd, I just began to cry.  I mean seriously cry.  I was hoping that the person sitting next to me wouldn't notice and think that I was strange.  I just began thanking God.  I kept saying to Him, over and over again, "Lord, I am so grateful that you trust me with your flock".  I just kept saying it over and over again.  No matter which one of my plans for the conference would go wrong, I knew without a doubt that the Spirit of the Lord was not only with me, but was also waiting for me to open my mouth and be used.

I don't take it lightly that God uses me to be a vessel.  I serve with such gratitude and humility.  The one thing that I do know is that praying and ministering to women makes me so happy.  Even though I have been blessed with the Gift of Knowledge, I still cry after speaking into someone's life because I am so grateful that God uses me.  Knowing that I am in no way perfect and still mess us sometimes, keeps me humble because I know that I have done nothing to deserve the compassion and favor of God.

I thank God for each of you that served God by serving me during the conference.  I thank God for each of you that put your life on hold for a few hours to hear the Spirit of the Lord speak and bless you through me.  You have trusted me and I thank you for that.  I love you with the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  God bless you, my sisters in Christ.

WAIT, I SAY WAIT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life on today.  May the Lord our God meet your every need and desires as you follow after Him.

(Habakkuk 2:2-5), "The Lord answered me . . . Still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end - it will not lie.  If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.  Behold his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Habakkuk, a prophet of God was sore in his spirit, while watching a Godly nation being swallowed up by a nation of people that had no fear of the Lord.  Habakkuk's question to God was, why Lord, are you letting your people suffer?  How long will you watch as your people die?

When we see the wicked prospering and God's people suffering, we may think the Lord is too slow in responding to the evil we are enduring.  Yet God always works in His time, and he sometimes works in ways we do not expect.  We can be sure that God has not forgotten us when He seems slow to respond, and we can know that even if He does the unexpected, it is for His glory and our good.

There are times in our lives when we just don't see our circumstances or tribulations changing for our good.  Even though we have prayed about it and say that we have given it to the Lord, we still tend to wonder if God is going to move on our behalf.  Not only will He move on our behalf, but when or how long will we suffer.  How long will our prayers go unanswered?  Those are the questions, we as Christians ask ourselves or God, while we are waiting or going through a testimonial trial.  Wondering how long your trial will be does not mean that you don't have faith in God, it means that you are not patient.  The times when you feel as though you have endured enough pain and suffering, are the times when you need to have the most patience.  Without that type of patience, you can easily let the devil slip into your mind, telling you that God does not care or He is not going to come to your rescue.  Note:  The Lord God has already come to your rescue from the day you called on Him, Lord, Lord.

My Testimony:  I had been praying for my oldest son to be delivered from drinking, doing and selling drugs for over a year.  It seemed like it was a lifetime of prayers.  I didn't see the Lord moving at all in his life, nor did it seem as if my prayers were even heard.  I questioned the Lord saying, "Father, I thought You said that He would change and dedicate his life to living righteous for You".  I listened and this is what the Lord said to me, "How long did it take you?"  I said no more.  I continued praying for my son and it has taken over five years from the time I spoke to the Lord about him for my son to walk upright for God.  Don't get me wrong, those were the longest and most trying times of my life.  Being a mother and watching your child go in the wrong direction is not easy.  I had to get to the point in my life where I had to totally trust God.  That was not an easy task for me.  My point is that as you are praying for a breakthrough, you may watch the days go by and many nights before it comes to pass.  The key is to know that it will come to pass.  If God said it, it is so.  If you don't have a relationship with the Lord and prayer, you will not know what He has said about your situation.

Wait patiently and know that what might seem to be slow in coming was not delayed at all.  Such waiting, such perseverance until the Lord shows Himself, is the very essence of faith, and it is by this faith that the righteous find life.  And that it is this faith that leads to the imputation of a righteousness that is not our own, which will in turn lead to eternal life.  Our Creator always brings His plan to pass at His appointed time, not before.
