THE THIN LINE

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak the Lord's blessings over you on today.  Peace, joy and love during this holiday season!

God is so awesome in His wisdom.  The Lord's parable to you today is concerning your spirituality.  He has blessed me with this message for myself and I want to share the message with you.

 

Once we decide to not only accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God and invite Him into our hearts and our lives; we should not stop there.  Meaning at least giving it our best shot of trying to live right; we step over an imaginary line.

 

Now I want you to visualize what I am saying, with your spiritual caps on.  Imagine you stepping over an imaginary line and immediately stopping once both of your feet are planting over that line.  Imagine standing at a place where you could easily step either your right or left foot backwards, with the line in between your right and left foot. 

 

God's says, "The longer you stay in a position where you are on the border of stepping backwards into your old ways, old habits and old ways of thinking; you are in trouble spiritually.  You are putting yourself and your spirituality in jeopardy.  Yes, you have stepped over the line of your past but you must not stay there or stop there.  The enemy is constantly going to and fro seeking whom he can devour and because you have stepped over that line; he is angry.  If you stay where you are you will not have any bargaining room.  Meaning, if you slip up and fall slightly backwards you will end up on the wrong side of the line.

 

One of the ways that you can make sure that you keep moving forward; once you have crossed that line is to stay in constant contact with the Lord.  If you stay barely over that Satan knows that all he has to do is send small fiery darts your way.  Those small fiery darts can come in any type of form.  For instance, abusive boyfriend, drinking, drugs, bad for you friends, etc.  Even though you know in your heart that you are better off with God in your sight and Satan in your rear view, your flesh is still fighting with your heart.  Constant prayer, worship and praise will strengthen your heart and allow you to get pass your flesh making all your decisions.  PRAISE GOD!

 

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for Your Son that died for me.  Jesus Christ died so that I can live and live a victorious life over Satan.  Father, my prayer today is that you give me the strength that I need to keep moving forward.  I don't want to stay where I am, my hearts desire is to keep moving forward with all of your best in my heart.  I thank you Lord that even though I may fall back you won't let me go as long as I keep you in my sight.  Thank you Father for your love in Jesus name, Amen!

CIRCLES OF LIFE - YOU WILL KEEP GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES UNTIL YOU CHANGE DIRECTIONS, CHANGE YOUR COURSE OR BREAK FREE!

 

The other day, I was enjoying one of my favorite movies.  As a writer, I am always on duty, and I am always looking for the next message from the Lord, with pen in hand.  I get a lot of these catchy titles from the Lord and what to write to enable the people of God to grasp what God is showing them or the point that He wants to get across.

 

Anyway, in the movie, there is a scene that the Lord had me to focus on.  He said, "That is what many of my people are doing this very day.  Okay, so let me set the scene for you.  This man was in the Sanity Ward of a Turkish prison.  He was not as insane as everyone else in that ward but he was getting there.  And the longer he remained there, the more he began to look and act like the others.

 

There was a pole in the center of this room and about 20 of the insane prisoner would just walk around this pole going clockwise.  All day long, they walked in a clockwise motion around the pole. They never spoke and they never changed directions.  The new guy finally decided that he was going to try to change the direction that they were walking.  He got in that circle and started walking in the opposite direction.  They didn't pay him any attention, they stayed on course.  At one point, he even tried to physically turn them around, but they just didn't get it.

 

Today God says to you, "I am trying to turn you around but you just don't get it.  You keep going around and around in circles.  You just don't get it."  You put God in a box when you have the mindset that you have always done things like this or like that.  God wants you to change course, change the directions that you are going, because you are headed for a big fall.  If you do not change your ways you will only have gone around in circles, ending up in the same position (state of mind) that you started, when you first got saved.  If you don't change course, you will began to look and act just like the Christians that only remember that they are saved on Sundays.

 

Some of you repeat the same prayer (repetitive prayer almost like you have it written down on a piece of paper.  You sing the same songs and say to yourself, I've been doing it this way all my life, why change now?  Why do something new?  You want God to do something new in your life, but you keep God in a box.  CHANGE COURSE MY SISTER, CHANGE COURSE!

 

Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me enough to speak to my heart today.  Father, I pray that you forgive me for my sins in the name of Jesus.  Father, I realize that I have not changed since the day that I first received you as my Lord and Savior and I am praying now Father that you help me to change the course and direction that my life is going.  Father, I do not want to remain in the same state, day after day.  My desire is that I get to know you more intimately through prayer and worship.  Today Lord, I am changing direction to move in the way that you need me to move, in Jesus name, Amen!

GET IN LINE

Hello, my daughters and sister's in Christ Jesus.  Today I pray that you not only read the message, but that you are blessed as you strive to run this Christian race, whole-hardly.

 

I got such a revelation from the Lord today.  You know me, I have to set the scene for you.

 

Sometimes we can be in such a hurry for God to bless us that we make the wrong decisions concerning our lives.  One of two things keeps us away from the promises of God.  (1): we are tired of waiting on God, (2), we don't trust God's Word.

 

A lot of times we tell people that we are praying for this or that to happen.  You say to yourself or your friends, "I'm waiting on God to makes some changes in my life so that I can move forward in my life.  Now, there is nothing wrong with that, except we are looking at our waiting time all wrong. 

 

What do you mean Evangelist?  Glad you asked.  You can have a close relationship with God and you pray everyday.  That's great!  But a lot of you are asking for something from God that you already have the ability to receive, but you got out of line.  Some of you are waiting on God, but God is waiting for you.

Imagine yourself at the grocery store and your line doesn't seem to be moving.  "You first thought is why your line isn't moving, and then you begin to look around to find a shorter line.  In the midst of all your waiting, you keep moving from line to line, hoping that you will find a shorter line.  Eventually you might just put the one or two things that are in your basket back and leave the store.

 

Woman of God, my message to you today is "GET IN LINE".  God is saying, He has everything lined up for you, and all you have to do, is to "GET IN LINE and STAY IN LINE".  Just like at the grocery store, somebody else's line looks better than ours.  So we forget about God's line because we think that it is taking too lone.  We end up in the friend, boyfriend, alcohol, or blunt line.  If you are impatient or think that you are running out of time, you will not line up with God and therefore you will miss the mark.  Just like that line at the grocery store, we think that God is not moving fast enough so we give up our spot in line, hoping that another cashier will open up another line.  Some times we can be on the edge of getting that blessing and then we get out of line.

 

Make up in your mind that you are going to stay in your line, stay in your lane as if your life depends on it.  And trust me, you life does depend on it.   BE BLESSED!

PEER PRESSURE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your lives.  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored and that the ministry has been a blessing to you.

 

(1 Corinthians 15:58), Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm.  Let nothing move you.  Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Christians deal with a lot of peer pressure.  Once you have decided to dedicate your life to Jesus Christ, your friends and family that are not saved, will always try to pressure you into doing the same old things.  They don't want you to try to change.  For some reason, being a Christian can be intimidating to people that are not Christians.  Peer pressure comes in because just like your friends don't want you to change your life, neither does Satan.  He will use your peers to try to keep you in darkness and keep you from getting delivered from things that you need to give up in order to live righteous before the Lord.  Christians deal with a lot of peer pressure because the enemy knows that he just lost a soul and Jesus Christ has gained another sheep.

 

Sometimes we tend to try to play both sides of the fence.  When want to keep our friends that we know we should not hang around, and we want to praise and worship the Lord.  It's very difficult to play both sides of the fence.  I tried it and it doesn't work.  What will happen is that the greater spirit will eventually win your soul.  If you are having difficulty dealing with peer pressure, keep going to church.  Keep your bible even closer because the enemy will try to use people to keep you from fulfilling God's purpose for your life.  Your peers don't even know that the enemy is using them to keep you from reaching your destiny in Christ.  If you are dealing with peer pressure, pray that the Lord God will put people in your life that will be able to keep you lifted up and will accept your decision to become a Christian.  Pray that God will lead you to the right people that will be able to make positive deposits in your life and not withdraws.

 

We all have experienced peer pressure once we got saved.  Once you become a Christian, your desire is to change, that is why you made the choice to be a Christian, but the change can be difficult if you don't have the right type of people around you.  You still want to hang out at the club with your friends, but on the other hand you want to do what is right before God.  You don't want them to start talking about you behind your back, but if they do it because you have decided to be a Christian, then the truth of the matter is that they always did talk behind your back.  Now they just talk about something different.  If you are hanging around people that prefer that you to stay the same way, that's peer pressure.

 

Once I decided to give my life fully to the Lord, I mean make a decision to stop partying, doing drugs and drinking the peers in my life changed.  God gave me some new friends.  God gave me a new dance and song in my heart.  I never looked down on people, I just knew what I wanted for my life and that was to fulfill God's purpose for me.  I wanted a change, my peers didn't want me to change because they thought that I thought that I was better than them.  I never gave them a thought at all.  If you are dealing with peer pressure, I understand.  I also understand how hard it is to give up your old nature.  It's like turning in your old wardrobe for new clothes.  You don't know how they are going to look when you put them on, but you know that you want a change.  God bless you.

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord on today.  The Lord has a great message for us today.  Thanks for reading.

(Ephesians 3:16-19), I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

 One day at a time!  That's the Lord's message for you today.  I think about the times that I spent in church services or classes and I was often reminded of the numerous of sins that are not of God.  No sin is of God.  You sit and listen to the pastor's message and you are moved by the words but deep in the back of your mind, you know that the sin that he is preaching about, is something that you are still struggling with.  While you are in church and are being convicted of a particular sin or sins in your life, it is the Holy Spirit that is tugging on your inner being.  It does not mean that He is mad at you, the Spirit of the Lord is trying deliver you and help you keep your deliverance or obtain deliverance from Him.  The pastor might be the one that lay hands on you, but without the anointing of the Holy Spirit you will not be delivered.

Woman of God, I want to encourage you today, to take one thing at a time.  If you are trying to deal  with everything that is going wrong in your life all at one time, this can be a very tremendous burden to you and you will feel defeated before you have even begun.  Start with the little things and work your way up.  Some people get offended at church because the Holy Spirit tugged at their spirit and they don't want to go back in fear that they have not released all the sin in their life.  It doesn't work that way.  The more you hear the Word of God, He gives you power and strength to overcome battles and temptations in your life.  The more rooted in Christ Jesus the more power you will have to defeat the enemy 

Might I suggest that you make a list of the worldly things that you do or the things that you know are not pleasing to the Lord and pray over them.  Ask the Lord Jesus for deliverance in those areas of your life and the power to stay delivered.  You don't have to tell anyone about your list.  It's between you and the Lord Jesus.  There may come a time when you are about to do or say something that is on your list and you will hear the Holy Spirit say, "don't do that, or don't say that".  The more obedient that you are to that tugging in your inner being, the more victorious you will become and powerful to the glory of God.  Once the Lord sees that you are at least willing to try to become more like Him, He will move mountains on your behalf.  God is so compassionate and patient.  The Lord God wants you to be free from sin, and if you want the same thing, then you and God are now working together.  It's better to work with the Lord than to work without Him.  It's better to walk with Jesus, than to walk alone.

I still have a list that the I am believing the Spirit of the Lord Jesus is working.  Every time I think that I have something beat, another sin replaces that one.  I stay prayerful and I always acknowledge the fact that I am undone in certain areas of my life.  I am honest with the Lord and I have often said, "Lord, that one is a hard one for me to overcome, or Lord, I've been doing it this way all my life".  I am not above correction from the Lord.  There have also been times that I just didn't make it and then I have to ask for God's forgiveness and start all over again.  One more important thing God wants you to remember is that no one is above sin.  Never let anyone make you think that you are not worthly of the love of God.  If you begin to feel that way, you will make excuses as to why you can't go to church and the enemy will have you exactly where he wants you, feeling unworthly and defeated.  A spirit of defeat always leaves the door open for the spirit of depression.

One thing at a time, ladies.  One thing at a time!  GOD BLESS YOU!

THE TWINS - GRACE AND MERCY

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you have the peace of God in your heart on today and that you will honor Him in everything that you do or even with your heart.

 

Vines Complete Expository Dictionary: Grace - In modern Hebrew seems to stress the stronger meaning of "to pardon or to show mercy."  The word occurs around 80 times in Hebrew Old Testament.

 

Mercy - "to have compassion, be merciful, pity.

 

Matthew: 11:28-30), Then Jesus said, "Come unto me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light."

 

Today I get to talk about me and you.  And prayerfully, the Spirit of the Lord will guide you.  While in my prayer time I was listening to a song, that basically says, "God's mercy kept me, so I wouldn't let go, I am here today because His mercy kept me so I wouldn't let go."  I don't know if you know that song but as I played it, I begin to look back over my life.  With everything within me, I have to thank God for His mercy.

 

Now, I am not suicidal at all, but going through physical, mental and drug abuse, I almost let go.  I almost let go of God's hand.  There were times in my life that I did consider just leaving this earth but as I looked at my children, I knew that I couldn't just leave.  I have thought that I was so horrible and my life was going far from God, so why am I here?  The more I tried to make my life work, the more Satan tried to stop me.  My late 20's and early 30's was very heavy for me.  I was very weary and tired.  I didn't read one of my bibles so I didn't know or understood anything about God's mercy and His grace.  I did not know that I should begin praying that the Lord will give me rest.  I didn't know that for the spirit of heaviness, start praising the Lord.

 

Woman of God, there will be some circumstances that you might face that will make you say, "Why me Lord".  Think about the Lord's grace that He has given to you.  Think about how merciful the Lord is to you.  I know that there has been times when you can see the Lord working your situation out for your good.  But know that just because you can't see that your situation will work out in your favor, know that the Lord is still with you.  The Lord does not want you to live a life of despair and hopelessness.  The Lord wants you to get up and take a stand that you will not let any event in your life cause you to be uncertain that He is with you.

 

My children are and blessing to me, because without them, I would have kept walking in despair.  Even though you may face times that causes you to flood your face with tears, it's okay, just get back up.  When you feel like you cannot make it any further and you feel like your life is hopeless, remember the twins:  God's GRACE and MERCY!

 

Heavenly Father, I pray that your word will go forth and comfort those that may be dealing with a crisis.  Touch them Father and restore them back to You.  I pray that those that are facing circumstances that they feel like they can't make it any further, touch their heart Lord and remind them that you are Merciful and you won't put more of them than they can handle.  May you bless those that think they cannot handle anymore speak to their heart Lord.  I pray that they praise you no matter what they are facing, in Jesus name Amen.
