COMPLETE OR COMPETE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God.

I pray that you are all in great health and spiritually growing daily.  I thank the Lord for "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry" and that you have decided to be a part of.

Why do we find it so hard to complement each other? We seem to find it easier to tear each other down, in any way possible. Sometimes we know that if we say certain things it will hurt, but we do it anyway. Then somehow we try to justify it. Women compete over so many trivial things (men, hair, clothes, shoes, jewelry). We are in a time where we need to learn how to comfort and embrace one another.  I say this because we are supposed to be a peculiar type of people, different than the world.  People should be looking at you and inquiring how they can have the same type of love for people that you do.  Wondering why, you don’t have an attitude about something that they feel you should.  It’s okay to be peculiar, sanctified (set aside for God’s purpose).
Woman of God, you cannot do this unless you love yourself.  If you love yourself, just the way you are you will find it much easier to complement any woman.  You have to get into a place where you are comfortable with who you are.  God made you and you are perfect.  God did not make anything ugly or leave anything undone.  He formed every part of you while you were still in your mother’s womb.  He knew what color to make your eyes so that they fit perfectly with your face so you can see the enemy coming.  Your complexion is the perfect shade of color. Your lips are just the right size to speak the very words of God.  The hairs on your head are numbered one by one; it covers your head as a crown. Your ears are the perfect size so you can hear the voice of the Lord.  Your hands were shaped perfectly to hold your children.  Your legs were shaped and made strong enough to stand in the face of adversities.  You are perfect and everything about you is perfect.  Love yourself even if you feel that no one else does, because at the end of the day, you are the only you you’ve got.

It’s time for you to look in the mirror and determine to tell yourself, “I’m beautiful and I’m perfect!  Now that you have done this, you can easily complement another woman on her beauty.  It’s nothing wrong with that.  It means you are now complete and don’t have to compete.  LET US PRAY!
Heavenly Father, I thank You for forming me in perfection.  Lord, teach me how to love myself, so that I can love others.  Lord, I want to feel complete in You.  Lord, I am overjoyed when I think about how You created me; I’m me because You love me, in Jesus name, Amen.
