THE COCOON

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord on today.  I am very happy at the testimonies of the Lord's blessings that I see and hear.

(Psalms 27:5-6), For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling, He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.  Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at His tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.

Once the caterpillar is ready to change, she knows exactly what to do.  She climbs up in a tree where no other insects will be able to touch her while she is about to go through the most dramatic change in her life.  She sits in the tree and begins her transformation.  A cocoon slowly covers her until her whole body is covered in the cocoon.  She stays safely in her cocoon until she is ready to be uncovered.  Slowly the cocoon that was keeping her safe during her transformation begins to fall off of her body.  Once the cocoon is shedding she pushes her way through all the shedding and she is now a beautiful butterfly.  She spreads her wings that are draped with beautiful colors and now she is ready to fly.

God says that you are His caterpillar.  He will hide safely under His wings until you are ready to fly on your own.  He will place you high upon a rock..keeping you safe from the enemy.  He will cover you and slowly feed you until you can feed yourself.  While you are in God cocoon, He is showing you His love, mercy, grace and His favor.  While you are wrapped in God's cocoon He will keep you hid from Satan.  You will remain in His cocoon while He is transforming you and preparing you to become His beautiful butterfly.  No one will be able to touch you or cause you great harm because of His loving arms protected you.

People have wrote you off, said that you will never amount to anything in life.  People have told you that you are different from your siblings.  You were always the last one picked in any school games and you were told that your were the ugly duckling.

God will shield you from the ugliness of this world.  From the people that would only bring you sorrow, pain and mean to bring you harm in your life.  Now God says it's time to show the world just how beautiful you truly are.  How beautiful of a woman you are on the inside and outside.  He has shed you out of your cocoon.  You see your beautiful and colorful wings, you smile at God.  God then says "It's time for you to fly".   He is about to show you off to the world.  He is about to show you off to all the people that wrote you off, abused you and caused you pain while you were a caterpillar.  He has given you wings strong enough to go against the fiery darts of the enemy and to guide another caterpillar to Him.  You will show another caterpillar just how compassionate God truly is and how He will hid her until she is ready to become a beautiful butterfly.

Fly now my little beautiful butterfly.  Show the world what you are made of.  Show the world my beauty through you.  Give the Lord praise!  Amen!
