DEVELOPING YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 3

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you have all received the recent messages regarding prayer.  As a minister of Jesus Christ my charge is to help you in any way that I can.  Through "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministries", I plan to continue to do the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I also want you to know that if you do not desire to receive the daily blogs, I will not be offended if you block me from your Facebook.  I love the Lord and I am only doing His will, not my own.  God bless you!

(Daniel 10:12-13), Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard and I am come for thy words.  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but , lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

First of all, I want to explain a little bit about the above scripture.  Daniel had been interpreting the kings dreams, through God. Daniel had been praying for an interpretation for twenty-one days and had not yet received an answer from God.  Then an angel came to Daniel and told him that from the time that he began praying God had sent an answer but the prince of Persia (Satan) held him up.  The angel had been in spiritual warfare for twenty-one days and had to call on the archangel Micheal to help him.  So for twenty-one days there was a fight in the spirit realm because Satan did not want Daniel to be able to get the interpretation from God to deliver to the king.

This story is very important because it describes how our prayers can be held up.  Sometimes it may take for you to fight in the spiritual realm for your answered prayers.  This only means that you may have to stay in prayer longer than you may have had to in the past.  Don't let the words "spiritual warfare" scare you.  The spiritual realm is a mysterious thing.  Sometimes God withholds certain outcomes because the timing isn't right.  And other times our hearts and circumstances require adjustments before He can say yes.  There are evidently times the devil fears what you're praying for and wages war against it.  Meanwhile, God is setting stage for the answer, dispatching heaven's forces (angels) to fight on your behalf.

Last but not least, remember that not all of your prayers are answered the way that you may want them to but you have to trust God.  You have to trust that God knows what is best for you and He is working everything out for your good. If you truly put your trust in the Lord then you will also develop a spirit of patience.  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!
