GOD'S MERCY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for each of you and pray that you are growing spiritually in the Lord Jesus Christ.  I speak blessings of peace upon your lives and pray that your needs and wants are met by the Lord.

(1 Peter 5:10-11), But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Woman of God, I want to talk to you about God's mercy.  The bible says that, God's mercy endures forever.  I want to teach you a little bit about what having God's mercy on a day to day basis really means for you.  Everyday that you have been giving another day to live, God had chosen you and had mercy on you.  When things go wrong in your life or it seems if the Lord God has stopped listening to your prayers, that is when you have to realize that God's mercy is keeping you strong.

Now, here's the catch.  No one really wants to talks about God's wrath on us when we are disobedient.  When you are going through what seems like pure hell if your life, you tend to look towards the scriptures that only speak of God's goodness and what God promises will do for you.  My sister, you have to also look at what God says about punishment for being disobedient, having no prayer life, not worshipping Him, and even the evil thoughts that you have towards someone else.  The bible says, that God knows your thoughts and heart even before you speak what is in your heart.

I want you to realize that there are consequences for your behavior.  If you disobeyed your parents your would be punished in the way that they felt necessary for your behavior.  Your heavenly Father is the same way.  There is a punishment or reward according to your behavior and attitude.  If you are not a good steward over your finances, which God gives you, you will have to suffer the consequences of your behavior.  Even in this society, a thief and murderer will go to jail for their behavior, they have to suffer the consequences.

I have heard a lot of people that are in bad situations or their circumstances have changed from good to bad, or from bad to worst; wonder is God mad at them.  The answer is "No".  God is your heavenly Father and you have to go through some things to learn how to be obedient to His Word.  God wants you to learn from your mistakes.  He is not a God that is sitting in heaven, just waiting for you to mess up.  To be perfectly honest, if that were the case, we would suffer all the time and there would be no joy in our lives.  You have been put on this earth for God's purpose and a plan that He has for you.  Going through bad times could often mean that God wants to get you to another level in Him.  Remember, God always has a plan and a purpose for your situation.

The things that I want you to understand is that while you are going through your valley, ask the Lord God to have mercy upon you.  While you are suffering the consequences of whatever you have done or have not done, pray for God to have mercy upon you.  The bible says that, even the elect of God has to be accountable for his/her behavior.  You have to be accountable for your behavior.   Ask the Lord to reveal to you what lesson you have to learn during your time of suffering.  If you don't learn a lesson you will repeat the same cycle and you will repeat the same suffering.  The above scripture says, after you have gone through a little while that God will establish and strengthen you.

The last thing that I want to let you know is to never let the enemy see you sweat.  What I mean by this is don't have a pity party.  God does not go to pity parties.  God always attends praise parties.  If you have someone that you can talk to that can lift you up spiritually, call that person.  Don't call the person that will join in on your pity party.  I pray that this message will be of help to someone today.  GOD BLESS YOU!
