YEAR END 2012

Hello, Mighty Woman of God!

I have missed blogging everyday to you.  I'm sorry, but I had a computer crash, ouch!  Anyway, I have been blogging since January 2012, keeping God's command to me.  I have really been blessed by following His every instruction and words that I have been given to the ministry.  Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry has truly been a blessing to me and my prayer is that each of you have been blessed in some way or another through the blogs by the Lord Jesus Christ.

I will continue blogging throughout 2013 as I have had quiet an experience with the Lord myself.  Through blogging, I myself have grown spiritually, I praise God for that and I have learned a lot through the scriptures and through the Holy Spirit giving me a way to minister to you through them.

I will still be coming to the Chicagoland area in May.  The Women's Conference is in May, free of charge to you.  Although, I do need for you to sign up as soon as you can.  I realize that May is a little bit away, but I need to make arrangement so that everyone will be comfortable in the amount of space that I will be renting out.  I also want to make sure that I have enough gifts.  So if you can make it or you are a maybe sign in anyway, so that I can at least have an idea.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Happy Holidays, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rest upon you and your family. I speak peace and joy into your life and that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord as you follow after Him.
 
(Psalms 17:8-9 and 27:5), Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, From the wicked that oppress med from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. (27:5), For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me, he shall set me up upon a rock.
 
First of all, let me just say this; these are some of my favorite scriptures.  If you really study those scriptures and believe exactly what the Word is saying, then you will always find peace in God.  When I was a young adult there were times when the troubles of this life had such a hold on me and I thought that I would never come out.  I was definitely "Young and Restless", knowing that God would hide me under His wings gave me a sense of hope and security.  I would imagine myself sitting under God's wings where the troubles of life would not even see me. 
 
If you have a relationship with God, then you also have the same protection.  God considers you the apple of His eye.  Being hidden under the shadow of His wings from your enemies, does not necessary have to be people.  It can also include those things that you are suffering from, health issues, deliverance and even abuse problems.  God has a way of keeping you hidden until He is ready to release you out into the public.  While you are hidden in the pavilion, He is working on your character, your discernment, deliverance, health, your spirit and anything else that you will need to fight the good fight in this world.
 
The reason why this message is titled, "The Young and the Restless", is because in your twenties you are considered a young adult.  This is the period in your life where you have left your home and have ventured out into the world.  A lot of people always tell their parents, "I can't wait to leave this house". Then you find out that you have been protected by your parents from the real world.  This world can be a very scary place for some of us.  Even if you leave home and attend college, you still have to make your own decisions, make your own mistakes and correct your own mistakes.  Maybe you got pregnant before you had anticipated and now the dreams that you had as a child have to be put on hold or you have to completely change your direction in life.  Whatever direction that you have chosen, at some point in time you will be "Young and Restless". It is so easy for young adults to feel defeated by life's curves, turns, tricked and scammed by some man, that says he loves you.
 
Sometimes it may seems like no matter what you do you are in the enemies territory.  There was a moment in my life where I was going through hell, I mean I thought that I was never going to come out.  My boss told me, "One day you will look back on this moment and laugh".  I looked at her like I wanted to jump across her desk and strangle her.  I thought to myself, "I will never look back on this and laugh'.  Well, she was right.  I don't exactly laugh about the situation, but it is over and that situation will never come back again. 
 
Whatever you are going through, it will end, as long as you trust in God and let Him handle it.  It is very hard to  do that because we don't see what God sees.  We see how horrible the problems is now, but God sees the outcome.  It seems like as soon as you overcome one mountain, here comes another, "The Young and the Restless", what do you do?  It is easy to become "Young and Restless" when you are going through troubles, as you grow in God, He will give you a spirit of discernment.  You need discernment if you are going to make it through this life.  Discernment can keep you out of some of the situations that you encounter. When things get to the point where you really get restless, remember (Psalms 17:5) and imagine yourself resting in the wings of God.  Hidden from all life's problems.  The bible says that God knows the thoughts He has towards you and they are that you prosper and not fall.  His Word does not return to Him void.  Meaning, since you are the apple of His eye, He has sent His Word out concerning you and whatever He decrees then it is so. I promised you, what you think is the worst thing that you can handle, it's nothing compared to what lye's ahead.  So you mind as well gird up your loins, wipe your tears and keep on moving, you'll make it.  Even in my late forties, there are times that I bury my head in my hands and think that I cannot make it any further, then Psalms 17:5 comes into my heart.  PRAISE GOD!
 
Please don't forget to register for the "Women's Conference" May 25, 2013, I want to make sure that I have enough space and gifts for everyone.  Whenever you are doing something for the glory of God it should be decent and in order.  I need to make sure that everything is done for the glory of God.  The Conference is no cost to you.  I don't believe in charging people to hear the Word of God.  I am also a prophetess, so God may just have a message for you.  If only 13 people show up, then those are the ones that God wants there.  Thank you and God bless you.

WALKING INTO THE UNKNOWN


Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life during this Holiday Season.  May you be blessed of the Lord as you seek after Him.  Rejoice in this day because this is another day for you to give God the glory.
(Matthew 14:26-32), And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I, be not afraid.  And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
When we were babies while resting in our mother's arms, we never had the fear of her dropping us.  We didn't have to worry about whether our diapers would be changed or whether or not would be fed.  As newborn babies we didn't have a care in the world.  We didn't know fear, we didn't know that if you were to drop us out of a second story window we would suffer death.  As babies we loved it when you threw us high up in the air and caught us in your arms before we hit the floor.  We actually did not know the consequences if you didn't catch us.  We trusted our parents, we knew noting about fear.
If you are a babe in Christ, you are "walking into unknown" territory.  You don't know what probably will arise from one day to the next. But Jesus is is bidding you to come closer, trust in Him to walk on water and He will catch you will you stumble.  It's okay to be a little nervous but remember Jesus Christ won't let you fall.  You are the sheep that the bible talks about saying, that Jesus is your Shepherd and He will not leave not one of His sheep. 

Don't make the same mistake that Peter made.  When you are in that unknown territory of you life, keep your focus on Jesus.  Don't take your eyes off the prize.  Jesus will not bid you to come if He doesn't have your back.  Even though Peter made the mistake of taking his eyes off Jesus, Jesus caught him before he began to sink.  Just like when you were a newborn baby, Jesus will catch you before you sink, while you are "walking into the unknown", which is Satan's territory.  While "walking into the unknown" there are times when you just feel like giving up.  While "walking into the unknown" you scream and feel like pulling your hair out.  You say to yourself, "Lord, you never put more on us than we can handle, I CAN'T HANDLE THIS!  Lord, you said, You are an on time God, I THINK IT'S TIME NOW! PRAISE GOD FOR WALKING INTO THE UNKNOWN WITH YOU!  AMEN!

AS THE WORLD TURNS


Mighty Woman of God, I pray that you are all well, blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ on today.  I pray that you have been blessed by the blogs that I have posted since the beginning of the year as I am being obedient to the Lord.
 
(Psalms 33:6), By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
 
The bible, which is the Word of God never changes.  In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God.  That scripture is speaking about Jesus, He is the Word.  In my opinion, as circumstances, trials and your situations change; when you read the Word of God (your bible) the scriptures that you are lead to read will bring you knowledge and comfort that you are seeking fro God.  You have to keep an open heart and mind to receive what God is revealing to you in that particular scripture.
 
You see, the world's view of things change, the Word of God does not.  When you are seeking an answer or comforting word from God, His word will be interpreted so that you will be comforted.  In other words, if you read a scripture last year for a word from God you will receive it.  That same scripture can be read today and it will be what you need from God today.  The Word of God never changes but the world does.  Whatever you are going through now there is a scripture that will minister to you.  That same scripture can minister to someone else dealing with a different situation than yourself.
 
You cannot be stuck in your old ways and your old ways of thinking when it comes to the Word of God or the blessing of God.  The Spirit of the Lord moves in different ways for different people.  You may understand what God is trying to reveal to you quicker that the person next to you, so He will make it simple for that person, using the same scripture.  By keeping your heart and mind open to the Spirit of God, you won't be stagnant in your spiritual growth.  Sometimes your situation may call for you to change your old ways of thinking and old habits.  God wants to do a new thing in you, but He cannot if you are stuck in your old ways and habits.  We tend to say, "I never did it that way before, my other church did it that way, I'm not used to this, I've been doing it like this all my life."  If that is your attitude then your old ways are blocking the new things that God wants to do for you. 
 
New levels, new devils.  Meaning as the way the world (society) changes, you have to change spiritually.  God cannot give you a new wine in an old container if you are complacent with where you were ten years ago.  As the world turns, so must your prayer life and relationship with God.  You must pick up the pace because Satan has picked up the pace in this world.  Reality television shows.  Profanity on television and on the radio.  Kids taking prescription drugs, cigarette stores selling synthetic marijuana and sexual innuendo's on television.  God's Word has a way of giving you a message that you need today by leading you to the same scripture you read ten years ago.
 
There may be 100 people in your church service reading the same scripture, but each one dealing with a different circumstance, but the Word of God is alive; you both will get ministered to concerning whatever you need from God.  PRAISE GOD!  I hope that this message has blessed you on today.  GOD BLESS YOU!

ONE THING AT A TIME


Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord on today. The Lord has a great message for us today. Thanks for reading.

(Ephesians 3:16-19), I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

One day at a time! That's the Lord's message for you today. I think about the times that I spent in church services or classes and I was often reminded of the numerous of sins that are not of God. No sin is of God. You sit and listen to the pastor's message and you are moved by the words but deep in the back of your mind, you know that the sin that he is preaching about, is something that you are still struggling with. While you are in church and are being convicted of a particular sin or sins in your life, it is the Holy Spirit that is tugging on your inner being. It does not mean that He is mad at you, the Spirit of the Lord is trying deliver you and help you keep your deliverance or obtain deliverance from Him. The pastor might be the one that lay hands on you, but without the anointing of the Holy Spirit you will not be delivered.

Woman of God, I want to encourage you today, to take one thing at a time. If you are trying to deal with everything that is going wrong in your life all at one time, this can be a very tremendous burden to you and you will feel defeated before you have even begun. Start with the little things and work your way up. Some people get offended at church because the Holy Spirit tugged at their spirit and they don't want to go back in fear that they have not released all the sin in their life. It doesn't work that way. The more you hear the Word of God, He gives you power and strength to overcome battles and temptations in your life. The more rooted in Christ Jesus the more power you will have to defeat the enemy

Might I suggest that you make a list of the worldly things that you do or the things that you know are not pleasing to the Lord and pray over them. Ask the Lord Jesus for deliverance in those areas of your life and the power to stay delivered. You don't have to tell anyone about your list. It's between you and the Lord Jesus. There may come a time when you are about to do or say something that is on your list and you will hear the Holy Spirit say, "don't do that, or don't say that". The more obedient that you are to that tugging in your inner being, the more victorious you will become and powerful to the glory of God. Once the Lord sees that you are at least willing to try to become more like Him, He will move mountains on your behalf. God is so compassionate and patient. The Lord God wants you to be free from sin, and if you want the same thing, then you and God are now working together. It's better to work with the Lord than to work without Him. It's better to walk with Jesus, than to walk alone.

I still have a list that the I am believing the Spirit of the Lord Jesus is working. Every time I think that I have something beat, another sin replaces that one. I stay prayerful and I always acknowledge the fact that I am undone in certain areas of my life. I am honest with the Lord and I have often said, "Lord, that one is a hard one for me to overcome, or Lord, I've been doing it this way all my life". I am not above correction from the Lord. There have also been times that I just didn't make it and then I have to ask for God's forgiveness and start all over again. One more important thing God wants you to remember is that no one is above sin. Never let anyone make you think that you are not worthly of the love of God. If you begin to feel that way, you will make excuses as to why you can't go to church and the enemy will have you exactly where he wants you, feeling unworthly and defeated. A spirit of defeat always leaves the door open for the spirit of depression.

One thing at a time, ladies. One thing at a time! GOD BLESS YOU!

THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak the blessings and favor of the Lord Jesus Christ upon your life.  May you find peace, joy and happiness in Him.  Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and He will direct your path.
 
(Matthew 4:8-11), Again, the devil taketh him up into an excdeeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
 
Satan's attempt to tempt Jesus Christ was a plan to stop Him from fulfilling God's purpose for His life.  Jesus was doing the will of His Father and therefore Satan was definitely trying to stop Him at every turn of His life.  Jesus was headed in the right direction and Satan wanted to throw Him off course.
 
When someone is trying to stop you at every turn then you are headed in the right direction.  You have finally made the decision to follow after Christ and seek after Him with all of your heart and all of a sudden all hell breaks lose.  You were doing fine as long as you weren't trying to develop a closer relationship with the Lord but now that you have decided to let go of some of the things that God doesn't approve of, your life seems to be a mess.  Everything that can go wrong is going wrong.  Satan is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you. Why me?  Why not you?
 
I used to ask myself that same question all the time and God's answer to me was, "Why not you?"  If Christ was talked about and suffered for no reason why do you think that you can go about doing God's business without the enemy trying to stop you?  You are a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and the bible says, that we too will be persecuted just like Christ was persecuted.  So think it not strange when the devil is right on your heels.  That only means that you have to run faster.  You finally decided to hold on to your deliverance and the enemy does not like it.  He would rather have you smoking, smoking blunts, drinking, partying, fornicating and doing everything else that detest the Lord than to have you strive towards righteousness. 
 
Maybe you don't struggle with any of those issues, but you have decided to join a ministry in the church and now all of a sudden the enemy is wreaking havoc in your home.  He is trying to make your life in disarray so that you will not have the time to be dedicated to the ministry that you know the Lord has called you to.  You not only found out what God's purpose and plans are for your life but now you are seeking to follow His plans; the enemy would rather have you just sit in the church pews, not in the pulpit.  He knows that you have a ministry on the inside of you because He predestined it before the world was even in existence.  Maybe God has given you a voice that will bring deliverance to people and you have finally decided to sing in the choir.
 
I have always be a believer of the term, "if the enemy isn't bothering you; then you aren't doing your job for the Lord.  You are suppose to be on your job, going about God's business everyday.  Satan will not miss one day of work.  You can't just call in sick when things get a little rough.  You can't afford to take a day off from prayer, praise and worshipping the Lord.
 
As the new year approaches, people tend to start making New Year's Resolutions and never keep them.  A lot of people even make a resolution to attend church more regularly, start attending church or start a consistent prayer life.  Before you decide to make a promise to God for the New Year, make a promise to yourself.  Your life is on the line, not His.  PRAISE THE LORD!

HEAVEN, I NEED A LITTLE HELP TODAY!

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and not sorrow upon your life on today.  May you put on a garment of praise for your spirit of a heavy heart. God says, praise your way out of your circumstances today, let tomorrow take care of itself.

(Psalms 66:17-20), I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; but God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer, Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!

There are always times in our lives when we feel like the doors of heaven are closed shut to our prayers.  We may feel like God has not heard our innermost cries, the cries of our heart.  There may be times when we feel like the whole world is caving in all around us, our very soul seems defeated.  We are overwhelmed by Satan's fiery darts that are thrown at us on all sides.  No matter how hard we try, it seems like we are still in a deep valley of sorrow.  We cannot seem to pull ourselves out of the spirit of depression and despair. We wonder when will heavens doors open up and God will hear our cries.
When those times begin to overshadow your ability to hold on a little longer. Or when unexpected problems comes your way, you need a warfare prayer.  "HEAVEN,  I NEED A LITTLE HELP TODAY!  Lord, I am crying out to you with praise on my tongue and seeking after righteousness, with all my heart, I need a little help from heaven.  Lord, you said in your word that if I don't cherish the sin in my heart then surely you will listen and hear my voice.  Heaven, I need a little help today!  Lord, I know that you have not rejected me and I still feel your loving songs on my heart.  My lips are always speaking of your glory, your mercy and your grace; today Father I need a little help from heaven.  Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart reveal to you that I am struggling in this area of my Christian walk.  Heaven, I need a little help today.  Father, I know that I have fallen astray from your plans for my life, I get it now, Heaven, I need a little help today.  I need a refreshed soul, I need a revival in my soul if I am going to make it through this next chapter in my life.  Lord Jesus, I know that I can do all things through YOU because you've given me my strength, Heaven, I need a little help today.
Mighty Woman of God, the above scripture is for you.  God has not rejected your prayers nor has He closed His ears to your cries.  Although you know that you have sinned, as we all have, as long as you don't cherish your sins then God will always open up the windows of heaven and pour you out more blessings than you could ever imagine.  As long as you are in prayers asking for forgiveness of your sins, God will not reject your prayers.  It is Satan's job to make you think that God has not forgiven you, therefore you think that no matter how much you pray, God will not answer your prayers.  It is Satan's job to make you feel worst then ever will concerning your forgiven sin.  Notice the word FORGIVEN.  As long as you think that your sin are too much or too heavy for heaven you will always feel depressed and defeated. 

Don't give the enemy another minute of your life or your time because the more that you feed him, the more defeated you will become.  Don't give the devil another moment of you.

Continue to pray and praise God like always, but always do it with the knowledge that He has already forgiven you.  The only thing that God wants from you is an "I'm sorry, Father".  Who would reject their child's need, when they go to the parent and genuinely say, "I'm sorry".  When those times of depression and despair try to rule over your day, just say, "Heaven, I need a little help today! When you are struggling with addictions, "Heaven, I need a little help today!  When you feel like you let God down again, "Heaven, I need a little help today!  GIVE GOD THE PRAISE FOR THIS MESSAGE!  AMEN!
