YELLOW RIBBONS

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life today.  I pray that you are strengthen to overcome any trials and obstacles thrown your way, by the power of the Spirit of the Lord.
(Ezekiel 34:11, and 16), For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for my sheep and look after them. (12) As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. (16) I will search for the lost and bring back the strays.
I once heard a short story depicting about a man that not returned to his home is a long time.  The man was not sure whether or not he would be welcomed back home by his father.  I have replaced the man with woman.
Here's how the story goes:  The was a young woman on a train sitting next to an older lady.  The older woman noticed that the younger woman was very nervous about something, although she didn't know what.  She spoke to the young woman says, "Hello, honey, are you alright?"  Younger woman, "Yes, I am very nervous about returning to my home".  Older woman, "Oh, I see, why are you so nervous, don't you want to go home?  I'm sure your father will be happy to welcome you back home."  Younger woman, "Yes, I do want to return home, it's just that I have been gone so long and I have done some things that my mother and father don't exactly agree with."  Older woman, "Well, I'm sure everything is going to be just fine, they probably miss you so much and love you so much that all they want it for you to come home."  As the train began to pass by some houses on the road, the younger woman got more nervous.  Younger woman, "This train is going to pass right by my home, and I told my father to tie a yellow ribbon on a branch of the tree near the house, if he would accept me back home".  Then the younger woman went on to say, "I am so nervous, I don't want to look".  As the train passed by the house the younger woman asked, Do you see a yellow ribbon?"  Older woman says, "No, I don't see a single ribbon".  The younger woman holds her head down in shame.  Then the older woman shouts, "I see 100 yellow ribbons, tied to the tree branches, and what a beautiful sight".  Younger woman, "Thank you, Jesus".
Sometimes we get so caught up as to how long we have been away from God.  We spend so much time thinking about the fact that we may have strayed away or backsliding that we forget about the mercy, grace and compassion that God has towards us.  The biggest trick of the devil is to keep you in the mindset that you have been out of the presence of God too long for you to go back.  It is the devils job to keep you thinking that God no longer wants you, or that God will not forgive you of your sins.  As long as he can keep whispering in your ear, that you are not love or wanted and will not be accepted back into God's loving arms, he is winning his battle.  God wants you to change your mindset.  Accept His love and return home so that He can heal your battle wounds.  You are the sheep and God is the Good Shepherd, He will tend to your physical and mental wounds that you have been fighting.  Don't allow the enemy to keep whispering in your ear; "you're not good enough, you said you were going to stop this or stop that" or you really messed up this time.  God is sick of your promises".  It's the devils job to remind you of your shortcomings, not our Heavenly Father's.  Don't allow that lie to keep you from returning to your Father.
The awesome thing about our Heavenly Father is that, He foreknew all of us.  He knew everything that you would do and will every do before the thought even enters into your mind.  Our Heavenly Father, knew your shortcoming, and yet, it was the will of our Heavenly Father that you be birthed.  Our Heavenly Father did not say, "I will abort her, because she will be a burden".  OH, PRAISE GOD!
I pray that this message will help, comfort and encourage someone to get back up again and keep on moving.  Accept God's grace and mercy.  AMEN!

DON'T LOOK BACK!

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Genesis 19:17 and 26), As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives!  Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain!  Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!"  But Lot's wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

This is the story about Lot's family as they were brought out of Sodom and Gomorrah.  Sodom and Gomorrah had become cities without any type of morals.  Men have sex with men, partying, drinking and just simply refusing to obey the laws of God.  In fact, if you read (Genesis 19:5-7), you will notice just how wicked the city had become.  God told Lot that He would spare him and his family.  The one commandments that God told them was not to look back.  I am not sure but I would say that the purpose of Lot and his family not looking back meant that they were ready to leave that type of lifestyle.

When God brings you out of something He does not want you to look back.  Looking back only means that you are not sure whether or not you are ready to move forward.  Often times God's desire and our desire clashes.  God desires for you to be free from anything that does not glorify Him.

When God brings you out of a toxic relationship; don't look back, thinking that maybe he does love you and will stop punching you.  Maybe he will ask you to marry him after all these years of empty promises.  Maybe he will at least try to look for a job.  Maybe he will at least watch his own kids, without calling it babysitting.  You just got delivered from drinking and drugs, whether prescription or non-legal, and you think you can just hang around the same people without getting swept back in that type of lifestyle; how can you be so sure?  The moment you even think about looking back, the devil is waiting.  Understand that Satan starts working on your will and emotions the moment you began thinking about the way things used to be.

If you look back, you will miss the blessing that God has waiting for you on the other side of the mountain.  You're not where God wants you to be, you are where you want to be.  That's a big difference and a mighty statement by God.

God's desire is to bring you up in a higher place in Him.  God's desire for you is that you prosper, but you cannot prosper if you are constantly looking back.  God's desire for you is that you don't look back because the enemy is always roaming to and from, seeking to devour you.  Looking back only gives the devil a foothold to get you back where he wants you to be (spiritually dead, abuse, whoremonger, gossip, liar, partying).  I can imagine the devil just sitting by your door (mind, will and emotions) waiting for you to go right back where God has brought you from.  No, you won't turn into a pillar of salt, that would be too easy.  You will turn into the devil's playground.

I can think of only two reasons why you should look back, once God has brought you out of the hands of the enemy; that is to remember where you don't want to ever be ever again.  There is no point in looking back if you are not going to learn from it.  My prayer for you is that you are able to move forward towards the things of God.  Pray that the Lord will change your mindset to line up with His purpose for your life.  PRAISE GOD?

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ, as you follow after Him.

(Matthew 13:3-9), And He told them many things in parables, saying A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and ate them up.  Other seed fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil; and at once they sprang up, because they had no depth of soil.  But when the sun rose, they were scorched and because they had no root, thy dried up and withered away.  Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them out.  Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain some a hundred times as much as was sown, some sixty times as much and some thirty. (Amp. Parallel Bible).

Some of you hear the word but do not understand what God is speaking to you.  Therefore you are not able to hold on to the Word of God spoken over your life.  You come before God and sit in the congregation acting like you got it all together, but it comes in one ear and goes out the other, and makes no impression.  You say that God knows your heart, this is true, and Satan also knows your heart.  If the things of the world are not broken up in your heart, then your heart will not be prepared to receive and heed to the Word of God.  You must cover the seed (the Word spoken) after hearing the Word of God by meditation and prayer.

Rocky Ground, Some of you have a good impressions of the Word of God, but it is not lasting.  You are glad to hear a good sermon, but you will not profit by it.  Your heart may melt under the word, but you still  have no firm resolution in your will or emotions.  Inwardly you are no more affected than a stone; After hearing the Word of God, you are still not united to Christ who is our Root; you still don't fully trust in Him.  In worldly terms (you are hard-headed).  You might be able to endure in the storm for awhile, but in the end, you will be swallowed up by the devil because you lack roots.  The Word of God, just fell on a hard head.  God knows that you only have a form of godliness and so does Satan.  Satan seeing you as having only a form of godliness he easily swallows up your seeds.

Thorns,   I call this stage, just a little stuck.  You are at the stage where you are constantly getting stuck by thorns in your life.  These thorns hurt when you try to get pass them.  Just like rose bushes if you brush up against them you get stuck.  No kind of thorn feels good.  When you get stuck by a thorn, it is human nature for you to look at the spot where you were stuck.  The longer you stay focus on the thorn, you are not fully put your faith in God and are not able to cast all your worries on Him; therefore falling short of benefitting from the Word of God.  You are built up in church service by the Word of God, but you are still being overcome by the things of the world.  Worldly cares are compared to thorns; they are  entangling, vexing, scratching, and their end is to be burned.  Toxic and relationships seems to be the main thing that keeps us women from moving away from those thorns.  These thorns choke the good seed.  You have good seed sowed into your spirit, but those thorns (worldly people, places and things) are great hindrances to your moving into God' purpose for your life.

Good Ground: Fruitfulness.  A true woman of God bears good fruit.  This does not mean that you will not have stones in it, or no thorns, but because you have hidden the Word of God in your heart and planted the Word of God on good ground nothing will be able to hinder your fruit from growing.  A woman bearing good fruit can always feed another woman.  Other women should be able to draw from and eat from the fruits that you bare.  You cannot feed another woman if your fruit is rotten (bad attitude, gossiping, whoremonger, deceitful and lying spirit).  A woman that has sowed seed on good ground is not perfectly free from the remains of sin, but happily freed from the reign of it; meaning you don't quickly run towards sin.  You understand the sense and meaning of the Word of God and take care of the seed that God has planting in you.  With your fruit right, and your heart honest, your return from God will be hundred, sixty or thirty-fold.  Your fruitfulness will graciously accepted by God.  PRAISE GOD!

IS YOUR CUP CLEAN?

Good morning, Woman of God.  I speak blessings upon your life on today and that God will give you peace and joy as you follow after Him.

(Psalms 19:12 and 51:10), "Who can understand his errors?  Cleanse thou me from secret faults.  Create in me a clean heart, O God: and renew a right spirit from me.

While washing the dishes, I observed the cup that I was cleaning.  I washed the inside really good, and just ran the rag over the outside of the cup.  Then I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Clean the outside of the cup just as well as you clean the inside".  My reply was, "Well, we don't really use the outside of the cup".  I did what the Lord told me to do, washing the outside as well as the inside.

Then I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, "That's the way my people are presenting themselves to the church and the world.  They only cleanse the outside of themselves because that is what people see first and my people are dirty on the inside".

My Testimony:  This is one testimony that I don't want to share but I am following the Lord's instructions on this one.  This one is so hard for me to admit, I have told part of my story, but not this one.  I pray that this testimony will help someone else, that's the only reason that I can think of as to why I must tell this.  Here I go!

I used to be an Administrative Assistant at my job.  I dressed very well; suits, heels and the whole nine yards.  If you were to see me on my way to work, you would never ever think that I had a drug problem.  I was clean on the outside, little did anyone know how dirty I was on the inside.  Little did my employers or co-workers know that I was carrying joints laced with cocaine in my purse.  Little did anyone know that I would go buy drugs on my lunch hour.  This was a weekly routine for me.  You talk about someone that should have been dead and gone, it was ME.

Once I started attending church, I keep the same routine.  The only thing that changed was that I didn't get high before church.  Once I got home, that's when I would smoke and drink.  Don't think that my church was lacking anything, it was all about me.  Did I want to change, Sunday after Sunday getting in the deliverance line?  I expected some magic after laying out on the alter, slapped with oil, but that didn't happen.  It was still up to me to hold on to it.

One Sunday, the Sunday School Teacher was anointing everyone with oil before we went into the classroom.  Once I sat down, something so different began to happen to my spirit.  That's the way that I can explain it.  I began to cry, not only did I just cry, but I cried the whole time (not out loud, tears just streamed down my cheeks.  I couldn't stop, even if I wanted to.  The minister placed a box of tissue on my desk, but she didn't say a word.  She just continued teaching the lesson.  I cried for one hour straight, I am not kidding, a whole hour.  The Holy Spirit worked on me the whole time.  Even after class, the minister didn't say a word.  That was the day that the Lord cleaned my cup.  I was delivered, never drinking or doing any kind of drugs.

The ten-step programs did not keep me from using drugs, abusing what God gave to me.  It was the Spirit of the Living God, (the Holy Spirit) that cleansed me, washed me, and welcomed me in His loving arms.  Keep going to church don't let the devil speak to you in your ear saying, "I don't know why you're going to church".  He will remind you of all your faults, making you feel guilty everyday and every time you try to clean the inside (your spirit-man) of your cup.  Satan's job is kill you with the spirit of shame and defeat.

Woman of God, our Lord and Savior does not put a spirit of shame upon you.  No matter what you have done, He is always willing and waiting to forgive you.  The Lord wants to encourage, comfort and love on you.  His compassion for you is never-ending, it will never end.  God is full of mercy, it's up to you to receive His mercy; that's the first step for your deliverance.  I have heard women say that they don't attend church or pray because they know in their hearts that they will do the same thing again, smoking drugs, drinking, cursing and sleeping around.  Imagine how I must have felt day after day, Sunday after Sunday, Bible Study after Bible Study.  I just kept going back.  Woman of God, don't stop praying, don't stop attending church, God is never waiting for you to mess up, He is waiting for you to get up.

I pray that the Lord's message and my testimony will be encouragement and comfort.  I love you with the love of our Lord.  God bless you, my sisters.

THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Today's post is one that is in my book, "Spiritual Growth - Breaking Shackles".  I thought this would be a great story to tell about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I will bring together the O.T. and N.T blessings of God, through His Son, the Lamb of God.

Exodus (12:12-13), For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt, I will execute judgment; I am the Lord.  And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

1 Peter (1:18-19), Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things; as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.  Who by him do believe in God that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Hebrews (9:12), Neither by blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood had he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us?

In the days of the Old Testament, in order to be cleanse from your sins, the towns people would have to go to the market to purchase a lamb.  This lamb had to be clean, new.  God gave Moses specific instructions for the Hebrew slaves during the time that the firstborn of everything (man and animals), were going to be struck by the plague of death.  The Hebrew were instructed to place the blood of the lamb over their door post.  When the plague of death went throughout the land of Egypt, the blood over their door post spared all the people that were gathered in that home.

Woman of God, let me quickly put bring those scriptures together to see just how merciful and loving God is towards us (His creation).  The Hebrew slaves were saved by the blood of  a lamb, we who were born into slaves are redeemed (bought back, paid for); by the blood of THE LAMB.  Not just any ole lamb would do.  Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world.  He was the sacrificial Lamb of God.  This had to be done just once.  When you decided to accept God's gift (His LAMB),  decided to confess Jesus Christ as your Lord, Savior, Redeemer, His blood is now upon your doorpost.  Because of the Blood of the Lamb, the devil passes over your home (you and your family all that are in the home).

The Passover Dinner was to remind the Hebrew slaves that because of God's loving-kindness, the death penalty passed over them.  My prayer for you is that you have accepted God's sacrifice for you, (Jesus Christ, THE LAMB OF GOD)  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly father, I thank You for redeeming me, purchasing me through Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Father I know that there is nothing that I have done, or could ever do to deserve Your gift.  Speak to my heart Lord, that I may truly understand the power of Your blood and how much You gave because of Your mercy and compassion towards me, in Jesus Name, Amen.

S.G.W.M. MISSION STATEMENT

Mighty woman of God, I am sharing with you the Mission Statement for "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry, in hope that you will understand and why I do what I do when it comes to women.  I have prayed with or prayed for some of you.  I pray that you have all been blessed and comforted through the gift that the Holy Spirit has given to me to blessed you and glorify Him.

God has given me the Mission Statement for this ministry.

(Isaiah (61:1-3), The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

I had a difficult time accepting this charge from God for the ministry because it seemed to me to be carrying quite a burden.  The other reason why it seemed to be difficult to was a question to God, "How am I supposed to do all that?"  God's reply, "Write it down, meditate on My Word, and allow my Spirit to accomplish my Word.  It's not about you and as soon as you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, my Word or plans for you will not return unto me, void".

The words that are highlighted in the scripture are highlighted for a reason.

  • the poor, the women that are poor in their hearts.  They need to be rich with the flowing of the Holy Spirit
  • bind up the brokenhearted.  Women that have had their hearts broken by abuse and trials do to trusted others that have caused a broken-heart reaction in them
  • freedom for the captives.  The demonic spirits that keep them captives in their hearts.  Not only in their hearts, but believing what the devil has said concerning their future
  • comfort all those who mourn.  Women mourn in their hearts because of this system of the world.  They have been pushed and shoved so many times that their hearts mourn
  • a crown of beauty, instead of ashes.  Beauty is not on the outside but the inside.  A beautiful spirit and heart needs to be a replacement for ashes (what the demonic spirits have burned up)
  • oil of gladness.  The anointing of My Spirit upon them so that they will no longer mourn in their hearts.
  • garment of praise.  Put on a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.  Heaviness that also begins in the heart.  Praise anyhow.
  • righteousness in the eyes of God
  • planting seeds in the generation of women to come and God will be glorified through your beautiful spirit.  A tree planted by the Living Waters (which is Christ Jesus)
Word for word what the Holy Spirit has given to me for each of you.  Please pray that the Spirit of the Lord will open your heart to not only hear the Word but believe that you are a valuable part of God's plan and purpose for your life.

Heavenly Father, I give you honor and praise for Your Word.  I pray Father that Your message will comfort and encourage Your beautiful women.  That they will receive Your Word and know without a doubt that You are with them always, and will never, never, never leave them alone or forsake them.  Father for the women that are not sure if they heart Your voice, by the power of the Holy Spirit I, though Christ Jesus I speak life unto them and that they receive a gift of discern and knowledge.  Speak to their hearts as only You can, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen!

YOUR SISTER'S KEEPER

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ as you follow after Him.

(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work:  If one falls down, her friend can help her up.  But pity the woman who falls and has no one to help her up!  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone? Though one many be overpowered, two can defend themselves, A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

In not directed today's message towards anyone in particular, I am expressing myself as fed up.  Fed up at the way that we (those of us whom call ourselves Christian women), tearing each other down every chance we get.  The reason why I am speaking to those that are Christian women is because the meaning of a Christian is not a religion, it is a lifestyle.  A lifestyle to at least put forth the effort to live Christ-like.

The reason why so many women enjoy the company of a male as a best friend is because men don't compete as much as women do.  We have all sorts of reasons why we decide not to befriends another woman.  Her hair is too short, too long, wrong color.  She weighs too much or not enough.  She looks at you funny or looks at your man too long.  Her shoes are the wrong color, too high or you just don't like them.  She has too much money or not enough money.  She dresses too expensive looking or too cheap looking.  My point is that somewhere down the line, women have developed the need to compete with each other, instead of completing one another.

Woman of God, this message is for those of you that truly desire a release and a spiritual shift in your relationship with God and in your prayer life.  If you don't have at least one godly friend then you need to pray that the Lord will send you one.  You need a friend that is spiritually connected to God.  Your friend should be able to discern whether or not you are dealing with some issues in your life without even telling her.  A Godly woman understands that you don't need a "girl let me tell you what I would do" advice.  Meaning, she will never talk down on you or about you.  She won't post your business on Facebook or Twitter.  More importantly, she knows how to say "I'm sorry".  In turn, if this is the type of friendship that you desire, you must also be of the same spirit.  We need more prayer lines than prey lines.  True sister's in Christ, should be able to tell the other when she is wrong about a situation and still be friends.  True sister's in Christ, pray not prey for each other.  True sister's in Christ don't get jealous when one gets a title in church.  True sister's in Christ don't offend one another but defend one another.  If you and your sister in Christ are going through a spiritual battle, instead of talking about your situations together, start praying together and watch God shift in the spiritual realm, turning it around for your good.  All things work together for the good, to them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  One can chase a thousand, two can chase ten thousand.

I have spoken with so many women through this ministry that have been scorned badly by other women in the church.  Even to the point that I have to earn their trust.  Which I pray that I have done, through this ministry.  I too, have been scorned badly in the Body of Christ, by not only one but two First Lady's of the church.  It was such an ugly situation that even my children have had trust issues when it comes to people in the church.  The best thing that came out of both situations was that I served Christ by serving them.  If I would have looked for my reward from them, I would have been damaged both spiritually and emotionally.  PRAISE GOD!

PROMISES . . . PROMISES

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Today's message is another blessing from the Lord to you.  I should say us because I just realized that the messages on FAITH this week are for me.

I have heard horror stories from many saints of God about how they were tested by God, when they ask Him to increase or strengthen their FAITH.  At that point I was dead set on not asking God for any spiritual gifts and definitely not asking God to increase my FAITH.  In fear of what I would have to endure has kept me from asking for a boost in the area of FAITH on this spiritual journey.  There have been quite a few tribulations and storms that I have overcome through God.  In truth, I should be dead.  I decided that I would ask God to strengthen my FAITH.  I realize that I need a little more to be able to make it through this next level in my spiritual journey.

While on my walk and talk time with God, He gave me an awesome revelation, something to ponder on, which really blessed by spirit.  I listened carefully to the Spirit of the Lord (Holy Spirit).  He said, "Promises that you make are  only able for you to keep because they are contingent on someone else keeping their promise".  Meaning if I tell someone that I will give them fifty dollars, once I get paid, then that promise is contingent upon someone else.  If that person doesn't keep their promise, then I cannot keep my promise.  In fact, any promises that we make to someone will always going to be contingent on someone or something else, which means that promises made to you or from you can be broken.

God has promised through His Word that the fruit of your womb is blessed.  When your children are going their own wayward way, you need to speak that word over their life.  I don't care what age your child is, you still need to speak the Word of God over them.  Just as God has a plan and purpose for your child, so does Satan.  It is never too late to start speaking the Word of God over your children.  Mother, God knows your children far better than you do.

Woman of God, God knows your husband far better than you do.  He created your husband.  If you are at a point in your marriage where you feel overwhelmed and things seem to be at a point where communication seems to always in up in an argument; pray asking God to reveal to you the correct way to speak to your husband that will not lead into an argument.  Most couples have a hard time communicating only because one person thinks that the other person is saying something that they really are not.  Speak the Word of God over your marriage and believe God will keep His promise.

You may not see the hand of God working in your marriage or your children, but a promise is a promise and it will always come to pass.  Lean on God, have FAITH that if He said it, it's a promise.  Those who God regards as righteous trust in Him alone, resting wholly in His promises that He will accomplish His purposes even when that seems impossible from a human perspective.

God says, "I am not a man. I am the Creator, not the creation.  I don't rely on anyone (any man) to
to keep my promises to you, my daughter.  My Word is My Word, it will not come back to Me void (undone).  My promise to you is never contingent on man.  My promise is my Word.  Again, I need no one else.   Though it may tarry, it shall surely come to pass.  Trusting that God will do what He says He will do will always increase your FAITH.  I Am, that I Am.

WORST-CASE SCENARIO

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ on today.  It looks like the Spirit of the Lord wants us to stay on lessons of FAITH this week, what a blessing.

(Isaiah 43:5-7), Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

You know, that there are times when we have looked at a situation and we go over it in our mind.  This is plan a, plan b and this is the worst-case scenario.  In other words if plans a or b doesn't work we think about what is the worst that can happen.  If we put God in our plan a and plan b, we would not have to have a worst-case scenario.  It is only when people put there trust in themselves or man that we mess up therefore putting ourselves in the worst-case scenario situation.  If you don't have a relationship with God, you have already started the plan in the worst-case scenario mode.  If you don't have that mountain moving faith that it will take for you to get from victim to victorious, you will end up in the worst-case scenario.

When the worst comes upon us, we can take our hearts to this God and hear Him say: "Fear not.  I have purchased you".  The first seven verses of the chapter make clear, God is present with us in our affliction.  Even when we are being punished for disobedience, He is with us in the midst of the fire so that we shall not be burned; even if we are overwhelmed by floods of sorrow, He is with us so that we shall not drown.  When the worst comes upon us and we feel exposed, alone, and ashamed, we hear God reminding us that He is with us in our affliction.  Here's another exhortation: "Fear not. I am present with you."  When the worst case scenario occurs in your life, run straight to this scripture  and hear the Spirit of the Lord shout, "Fear not, I have purchased you.  I am present with you.  I love you, my daughter."

Sometimes it can be very difficult for us to see God's hand and mercy while we are in the storm.  We cannot possible know exactly how God is going to turn things around, but we have to have mountain moving faith that He will.  We can only see what lies ahead with our vision, not God's.  Our vision of a situation is never the same as God's, therefore putting our trust in Him is the only way to be sure that even in our worst-case scenario mode, we will be victorious.

Habakkuk was told that the righteous are those who, in the days of trouble, believe God and His Word despite what they can see with their limited vision.  This kind of belief requires a complete entrusting of oneself into the hands of the Lord alone, a commitment to walking by faith and not by sight.  Such faith means looking beyond one's present circumstances in confident assurance that our holy creator will fulfill all of His promises.  PRAISE GOD!

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for mercy and kindness towards me.  Forgive me Lord of my sins, those things that I have said or done that did not bring glory to Your name.  My prayer today, Father is that You keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind stayed on You.  Even in the midst of the floods all around me, Father, I thank You that You are with me.  Father, we I feel like I am in worst-case scenario mode, remind me that You will never leave nor forsake me.  Guard my heart and hide me from the enemy, in Jesus name, Amen!

2013 WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

Woman of God,

I held my first of many women conference in the Chicagoland area on May 25, 2013.  As I sat on the airplane and listened to my favorite worship cd, I just began to cry.  I mean seriously cry.  I was hoping that the person sitting next to me wouldn't notice and think that I was strange.  I just began thanking God.  I kept saying to Him, over and over again, "Lord, I am so grateful that you trust me with your flock".  I just kept saying it over and over again.  No matter which one of my plans for the conference would go wrong, I knew without a doubt that the Spirit of the Lord was not only with me, but was also waiting for me to open my mouth and be used.

I don't take it lightly that God uses me to be a vessel.  I serve with such gratitude and humility.  The one thing that I do know is that praying and ministering to women makes me so happy.  Even though I have been blessed with the Gift of Knowledge, I still cry after speaking into someone's life because I am so grateful that God uses me.  Knowing that I am in no way perfect and still mess us sometimes, keeps me humble because I know that I have done nothing to deserve the compassion and favor of God.

I thank God for each of you that served God by serving me during the conference.  I thank God for each of you that put your life on hold for a few hours to hear the Spirit of the Lord speak and bless you through me.  You have trusted me and I thank you for that.  I love you with the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  God bless you, my sisters in Christ.

WAIT, I SAY WAIT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life on today.  May the Lord our God meet your every need and desires as you follow after Him.

(Habakkuk 2:2-5), "The Lord answered me . . . Still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end - it will not lie.  If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.  Behold his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith.

Habakkuk, a prophet of God was sore in his spirit, while watching a Godly nation being swallowed up by a nation of people that had no fear of the Lord.  Habakkuk's question to God was, why Lord, are you letting your people suffer?  How long will you watch as your people die?

When we see the wicked prospering and God's people suffering, we may think the Lord is too slow in responding to the evil we are enduring.  Yet God always works in His time, and he sometimes works in ways we do not expect.  We can be sure that God has not forgotten us when He seems slow to respond, and we can know that even if He does the unexpected, it is for His glory and our good.

There are times in our lives when we just don't see our circumstances or tribulations changing for our good.  Even though we have prayed about it and say that we have given it to the Lord, we still tend to wonder if God is going to move on our behalf.  Not only will He move on our behalf, but when or how long will we suffer.  How long will our prayers go unanswered?  Those are the questions, we as Christians ask ourselves or God, while we are waiting or going through a testimonial trial.  Wondering how long your trial will be does not mean that you don't have faith in God, it means that you are not patient.  The times when you feel as though you have endured enough pain and suffering, are the times when you need to have the most patience.  Without that type of patience, you can easily let the devil slip into your mind, telling you that God does not care or He is not going to come to your rescue.  Note:  The Lord God has already come to your rescue from the day you called on Him, Lord, Lord.

My Testimony:  I had been praying for my oldest son to be delivered from drinking, doing and selling drugs for over a year.  It seemed like it was a lifetime of prayers.  I didn't see the Lord moving at all in his life, nor did it seem as if my prayers were even heard.  I questioned the Lord saying, "Father, I thought You said that He would change and dedicate his life to living righteous for You".  I listened and this is what the Lord said to me, "How long did it take you?"  I said no more.  I continued praying for my son and it has taken over five years from the time I spoke to the Lord about him for my son to walk upright for God.  Don't get me wrong, those were the longest and most trying times of my life.  Being a mother and watching your child go in the wrong direction is not easy.  I had to get to the point in my life where I had to totally trust God.  That was not an easy task for me.  My point is that as you are praying for a breakthrough, you may watch the days go by and many nights before it comes to pass.  The key is to know that it will come to pass.  If God said it, it is so.  If you don't have a relationship with the Lord and prayer, you will not know what He has said about your situation.

Wait patiently and know that what might seem to be slow in coming was not delayed at all.  Such waiting, such perseverance until the Lord shows Himself, is the very essence of faith, and it is by this faith that the righteous find life.  And that it is this faith that leads to the imputation of a righteousness that is not our own, which will in turn lead to eternal life.  Our Creator always brings His plan to pass at His appointed time, not before.

LETTING GO

Mighty woman of God, I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life today, and that as you walk in unity with Christ Jesus, that you are blessed with abundant favor.

(John 19:30), When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar he said, "It is finished": and He bowed His head and gave up the ghost. (Col.3:13), Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another; If any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye forgive. (1Peter 3:18), For Christ also hat once suffered for sin, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.

Jesus' final words, "It is finished", are very important to all of us.  What was Jesus talking speaking about?  What did He mean by speaking, "It is finished".  Jesus died for all of our sins, that was His reason for coming down from heaven and living in the flesh.  He took on the sins of the world, those born in His time and forevermore.  By bridging the gap between us and God the Father, we are therefore blessed to be able to have a relationship with God the Father.  Everything that we have done and everything that we are ever going to do in our lifetime has been forgiven.  "It is finish", (meaning, "Father, I have taken on the sins of the entire world, now I'm LETTING GO, and ready to come home").

We often hear that Christ died for our sins and prayerfully you do believe that with all of your heart.  We have also heard that we must forgive others that we feel have unjustly wronged us.  Also, if you want the Lord to forgive you of your sins, then you must also forgive others that have sinned against you.

Woman of God, I know how hard it is to began the LETTING GO process.  Some things can take longer that others when it comes to forgiving people that have wronged us.  Depending on what we had to endure by that person, it can some times take years.  However, you can never be free from that person until you honestly and fully forgive them.  I know that a lot of situations and circumstances will have you put in your heart that that particular person or incident does not deserve your forgiveness.  You will continue to remind yourself of the past behavior of that person to keep your heart from forgiving that person.  You keep hatching up the same thing day after day or year after year, thus keeping you bitter.  You may not think that you are bitter over whatever was done to you, but as long as you don't forgive in that person in your heart, you are leaving the doorway open for Satan to continue torturing your mind with that thing.

Satan knows the Words of God.  He knows every word written in the bible.  He also knows that as long as he can keep you in the spirit of un-forgiveness, then he has victory over you.  He knows that the Word of God says, "If you do not forgive your trespasser, then God will not forgive you".  He is banking on you being content living with the spirit of un-forgiveness.  That person will continue to have control over you as long as you are bitter towards them.  There are times where we might say with our mouth that we forgive that person, but as soon as their name comes up, we cringe or let people know just how we feel about them.  If you say you forgive, but still can't stand hearing their name or seeing them, maybe, just maybe, you have a little more forgiving to do.

After so many years of being released from my abuser, I learned that I had to pray for him.  I had to pray for the man that made my life miserable for ten years.  I had to pray for the man physically abused me.  I had to pray for the man that cheated on me and made me feel humiliated.  My LETTING GO process took years rather than months.  As I prayed to God, I admitted exactly how I felt about that person, "Father, I hate him", (which God already knew), but He needed for me to admit it.  As long as I didn't admit it, I could continuously get away with carrying around that bitterness, thinking that I had a good enough excuse for how I felt.

LETTING GO, starts with prayer.  The first thing that you need to do is to acknowledge to the Lord that you have been carrying un-forgiveness in your heart towards that person.  (God already knows, He just want you to come clean), ask for God to have mercy upon you, and forgive you.  Next, ask for God's forgiveness because you have not forgiven that person.  Then, you begin to pray for that person.  To me, that is one of the hardest things to do.  Praying for that person is not for them, it is for you.

God's desire for you is to live free from any type of un-forgiveness, bitterness or hatred.  He also knows and understands what you have been through and how you are feeling right now. I know people tend to say, "but you don't know what he/she did, you don't know how much he/she hurt me.  You're right, I don't.  But God does and because of God's compassion and love towards you, He will move you into a place within you, to start your LETTING GO process.  If you have been harboring and pacifying the spirit of un-forgiveness, it's time for you to pray, until God's says, "It is finished".  Then you will feel such a release and lost of weight on your heart.

If Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, died for all of our sins and say to us, "You are forgiven".  How much harder should it be for us to forgive someone that has done us wrong?  AMEN!

BUT THE LORD . . . .

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God! I speak blessings of the Lord's favor upon your life. May you walk in the way of the Lord's direction daily.

(Genesis 39:2-3 and 20-21), But the Lord was with Joseph, and he though a slave was a successful and prosperous man and he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.  And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all that he did to flourish and succeed in his hands.

(20-21), And Joseph's master took him and put him in the prison, a place where the state prisoners were confined so he was there in the prison.  But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden.

Genesis, Chapters 39-50, tells the story of Joseph and how the Lord was with him even through his trials in the land of Egypt.  I really love reading the story and it makes me laugh because no matter what Joseph had to endure the bible continues to state, but the Lord was with him.  Poor Joseph, never did anything to be put in the predicaments that he were put before him . . . but the Lord was with him.  At the end of the story Joseph was victorious over everything that the devil tried to kill his spirit with . . . because the Lord was with him.  This is one story that you can really get a good laugh at the devil.

There will always be people in our lives that mean to do us harm.  They don't care at all about your well-being, even though they pretend to care.  Joseph's trial really begin with the spirit of jealousy that was upon his brothers.  Then as he found favor in his master's sight, the spirit of lust crepe in through his masters wife and Joseph was unjustly accused and thrown into prison.  One of the important things about this story is that everyone that crossed Joseph's path, saw the favor of the Lord upon his life.

During your times of struggles and trials, people will often use terms like, "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger". Or "God never puts more on you than you can handle".  I know those cliches' don't mean a lot when you are the one going through but if you think back to some situations that you have been through and thought that you would never make it out of this one; you did.  Someone once said to me, "In a years time you'll look at this day and laugh".  I actually looked at that person and said, "I don't think so, this time next year I'll probably be dead".  To be honest with you, I really meant it, I thought that I would never live through that trial.  Now, that I look back over my life and think things over, I can truly say that I should have lost my mind, but the Lord was always with me.

There will be times in your life where you feel just like Joseph.  You don't see your trials or circumstances changing for the better anytime soon.  You don't feel this trial making you stronger only weaker and you may feel like this is a trial that is too much for you to bare.  I want you to remember and guard in your heart these few simple words . . . BUT THE LORD!

You are stronger than you think and although you may feel like you can't make it one more second, one more minute, one more hour, one more day, you cannot do this on your own strength . . . . BUT THE LORD!

Satan's plans for you is to still your peace of mind, kill the Spirit of the Lord within you and rob you of your inheritance . . . BUT THE LORD!  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!
