THE HEART OF THE MATTER

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ and that you are walking according to His purpose and plans for your life.
(Psalms 139:1-4), Amplified Version: O Lord, you have searched me (thoroughly) and have known me.  You know my down-sitting an my uprising; You understand my thought afar off.  You sift and search out my path and my lying down, and You are acquainted with all my ways.  For there is not a word in my tongue (still unuttered), but, behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
I'm sure you've heard from a lot of people you know and even those you just heard in passing by conversation say "God knows my heart".  When the harsh truth and reality of that statement is that you are absolutely right, God does know your heart, better than you do.
Search me oh Lord and know my heart Lord.  Is that what you really what?  Are you truly ready for God to search your heart today?  Or how about yesterday?  One of the things that I remember to pray for everyday is that God forgives me of all my sins, even the sins that were on my heart. Lord forgive me for the thoughts I had that did not bring glory to your name.  I know that oftentimes I say things that are not pleasing to God even in my mind.  I may not speak them, because the Holy Spirit will stop me (or better yet, I will quickly listen to the Holy Spirit say, "shut up, don't you dare say that").  But it was still on my heart.
The bible says that we don't even know our own hearts, so how can we sin and just simply say, "Well God knows my heart".  Yes, He does and He knows that there is nothing good coming from it.  Some people can just openly sin and then say, "Well the Lord knows my heart".  That's should be a pretty scary statement to make, if you truly think about it before you say it.  We justify how we feel in our hearts or justify the nasty attitude or way that we treat someone else by saying, "The Lord knows my heart".  God knows your thoughts afar off.  That means way before you even thought it or said it, God knew that you were going to think it or say it.
Another thing that we saints tend to do is try to justify our actions by saying, "God knew or knows that I was going to mess up, or not be able to keep my word or promise.  In other words, you are simply saying that it's okay for you to sin, because God knew you were going to do it anyway.  Just because God knows your every move does not give you the license to sin.  You do not get a "get out of HELL free card".  God will not be mocked. It's like taking advantage of a friend, by pretending to be their friend just because they always foot the bill or watch your kids for free.  Some of you think that you are going to just slip under God's radar, because He knows your heart.
Some of you need to be in constantly prayer begging for God's mercy because of your corruptible heart.  AMEN!

Heavenly Father I pray that You forgive me of all of my sins.  Even those things that I have done that I didn't think was a sin, forgive me Father.  Lord I pray that You please have mercy on me and that Your favor will be with me.  Thank You Lord Jesus for dying on the cross for all of my sins, way before I was even born, You knew.  Lord I thank You for waking me up another day so that I could try it again today.  I know Lord that we all fall short of Your glory and I don't want to think about what others may have said or done to me, but that I also forgive them, as You have forgiven me.  In Jesus name, Amen!
