JUDGEMENT DAY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

My prayer for you today is that you are blessed of the Lord Jesus Christ and that your desire is to continue to seek after Him with your whole heart.

(James 4:12), There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy; who art thou that judgest another?

I wrote this one in my current book.  I read it again on yesterday and I thought this message would be a great one to revisit.

I had a job where one of my co-workers continuously came to work with the smell of alcohol on her breath.  I mean her pores reaped with alcohol.  I would get so made that I would spend the entire morning thinking about how horrible of a person she must have been.

One day, on my way home for lunch, all I thought about was how horrible she smelled and wondered why she would come to work smelling like alcohol.  The moment I got in the house, the Lord spoke to me.  "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?  Did you forget how muddy and nasty you used to smell?  Did you forget abut the drinking and drugs I delivered you from?  I saw you and still loved you.  Yes, through all your mess.  How dare you judge someone else!  I bought you out to bring someone else out".

I am so glad that God waited for me to get from behind the wheel of my car before He spoke those words to me.  I probably would have had an accident because the voice sounded so loud.  I was truly chastised by the Lord on that day.

Woman of God, the Lord can't use you if you are judging others shortcomings and mistakes.  You are not perfect and never will be, but with the Lord's help, you are in the process of being perfected in His eyes.  It is very easy to sit back and look at another person's situation and be judgmental.  You are standing on the outside looking in and have made up in your mind that person is no good and that their sin stinks more than yours does.  You don't have that right.  You don't have the right to turn up your nose at someone else, just because you are not in that particular situation.  I am sure that you have been delivered from something (smoking, drugs, shacking, friends with benefits, profanity, promiscuous, etc.), remember where you came from and who brought you out.  God could have left you spiritually dead but He decided that your testimony would be helpful and not harmful to someone else that is struggling.

Here's a message for all you perfect people out there, Judgment Day has not come just yet and when it does there will be only ONE JUDGE, HE WHO GIVES LIFE!  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your mercy and grace towards me.  Search my heart Lord and removed anything that you cannot use for Your glory.  Forgive me Lord for the thoughts I may have had towards others that have caused me to be judgmental.  Lord, renew my mind and create in me a clean heart so that I can be a witness to them and that they will come to know how gracious and merciful You truly are, in Jesus name, Amen.

If you are interested in purchasing a copy of "Spiritual Growth for Women - Breaking Shackles", go to www.amazon.com to support the ministry.  Also please remember to go to my events calendar to sign up for the Women's Conference in May. This is for me to get as much of an accurate count of how many would like to attend, thank you.  May God bless you.
