SO YOU WANT A GODLY MAN!

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak peace and joy upon your life.  May you prosper abundantly as you seek after our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Proverbs: 31:10-12 and 25-30), A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. (25-30), She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

If you have been praying for God to send you a Godly man, that's great.  That's a start to a happy marriage.  What woman wouldn't desire to have a Godly man?  But what if that Godly man is praying for a Godly woman, are you ready for him?  Well, let's see if you make the cut. As you read the above scripture, can you honest say that you are a Proverbs 31 woman?

Woman of God, what makes you think that God will send you a Godly man if you are not a woman of integrity, honor and of noble character?  God loves the man that He made first, before woman.  God wants that man to be happily married too.  He will not send you a Godly man if you are not ready for one. Now, I know that I'm not talking about you, it's probably one of your girlfriends.  But humor me anyway and finish reading.

This new generation of superior women has gone too far.  Equal rights for women has gone too far.  Mothers aren't teaching their daughters how to be a good woman of integrity, wise and a good wife for her husband.  When your children call you blessed because they observe you reading your bible and praying.  Will your husband call you blessed because you work outside the home and still manage to take care of the children and keep the house clean.  Can he trust you to go out with your girlfriends and not have to worry about you flirting with another man?  Can he trust you to take care of the household finances.  Not saying, "my money is my money and your money is my money".  Do you respect your husband?  Are you more concerned about your hair and nails that you won't even clean the dishes or make up your bed every morning?  Does your husband come home from work only to find that he doesn't have a hot meal?  Have you spent your day watching television and on the computer?

I personally don't see anything wrong with fixing your husband's dinner plate.  That's just me.  If you think that you are too good to keep the house clean, make sure that your husband and children's have clean clothes to wear and cook a decent meal for your family is messing with your equal rights amendment, they maybe you should just pray for a man, not a Godly man.

A lot of times women listen to their single girlfriends advice about their marriage.  "Girl, if I were you, I wouldn't do this or that.  You should be able to stay out as long as you want to.  He ain't your daddy".  You can go ahead and listen to your single girlfriends all you want and you will soon be just as single as they are.  That's exactly what your girlfriend wants.  God is not going to send His prize possession to you so that you can just mess him up.  There are a lot of Godly men in the world.  What has happened is that they have been hurt badly by women and now they are afraid to love again.  Women aren't the only ones that can be in a hurtful relationship.  Some women do end up with a Godly man, a man that is quiet and loving, but they end up breaking him down by name calling and giving no respect to Him.  All they do is complain and yell.  You realize that you did have a good man once he's gone and you end up with the devil's best friend.  The scripture says, "that a woman's beauty will fade, God desires a woman that knows how to praise Him.  There is an old saying, "she knows how to get a prayer through".  Is that you?  PRAISE GOD, AMEN!
