CLIMBING MOUNTAINS

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that each of you are having a blessed day!  No matter what obstacles you have to hurdler over know that you can jump high with the strength that God has given unto you.

(Matthew 17:20), And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.  Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

In this scripture the disciples wanted to know why they could not cast the demon out of the man's son.  Jesus says to them that they did not have enough faith.  I am thinking that because of the boy's demon, the disciples had never seen it before, so in their minds they had already been defeated.

Woman of God, a lot of times we tend to look at our situation and develop a mindset that we are already defeated.  Sometimes the mountain may be something that you never had to deal with before and you have a defeated mentality.  Maybe you are saying that you do have faith to yourself, but deep down inside, you feel defeated.  If you already feel defeated the enemy knows that and he will try to make your situation destroy your faith in the Lord.

If something goes wrong in your mind and you are thinking that God did not answer your prayer, maybe you should consider that just because things didn't go the way that you had hoped for does not mean that God is not moving mountains on your behalf.   The point that I am trying to make is that God knows the outcome way before it happens.  He knows everything and you must have faith that He has looked at your circumstances and has determined that you need to climb over the mountain instead of Him removing it out of your way.

You see, a lot of times we look at that scripture and expect God to move that mountain out of the way.  If God does not move that mountain (whatever is in your way of your blessing), then He will equip you with whatever you need to climb it.  It is easier to have the mountain removed, but if you have to climb that mountain you will have gained more strength.  You will have gained strength in your prayer life and strength in your relationship with God because you will need Him more while you are climbing over the circumstances in your life.

Some mountains God will remove, there are some mountains He wants you to climb and some that He wants you to walk through.  While you are climbing, He knows that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  God knows that you will need perseverance in the next level of your spiritual journey.  Perseverance produces character, character produces hope.  You have to have faith and trust in the Lord that He is working everything out for your good.  God will not have you climb a mountain without giving you exactly what you need to overcome it.  If you have to climb instead of easily walking through or going around, rejoice in the Lord because He is getting ready to bless you abundantly when you get to the other side.  Your promise is on the other side of the mountain.  Your blessing is on the other side of the mountain.  You cannot see what's on the other side, but because of your obediance your promises and blessings are there.  Amen!
