LET GO AND LET GOD

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for each of you and pray for you daily.  I know that God is still in the blessing business because of your positive testimonies.  Praise God.

I was reading a book this morning and the author was stating that a lot of times we say we trust God, but we don't give Him the steering wheel of our lives.  Then I was reminded of an incident that happened to me years ago.

One day I was on my way to work with my youngest son in a car seat.  I had to drop him off at the babysitters house, then park my car in a parking lot, then catch the train.  It was very cold that day and it snowed the day before.  The streets were very wet, but I was driving very cautiously.  I was going down a hill and right in front of me I could see that the road appeared to be wet.  As I approached the point where the road seemed to have water, I realized that it was a sheet of ice.  I quickly hit my breaks and then the car starting sliding.  I lost control over my wheel.  Right in front of me was a ditch and a large street light pole, my car was headed right towards it.  I thought to myself that I was going to be in the hospital and I thought about my baby in the car seat.  There was no way that I was going to miss hitting that pole.  I took my hands off the steering wheel and said JESUS!  That's all I said, was JESUS!

The moment I said those words, my car shifted and the wheel turned, my car turned around completely and I ended up in the same direction that I was going in the first place.  I kid you not, this really happened.  I couldn't believe it.  I was motionless.  I was in shock for a few minutes.  Then all of a sudden, I started praising God and rebuking the devil.  I laughed all the way to the babysitters house.  I laughed at the devil and said, "You tried to kill me".  I kept laughing and praising God.

So that's my story, let go of the things that you cannot control.  Let God steer your life and He will steer you in the right direction.  Laugh at the devil when he tries to disrupt your life.  Laugh at him and praise God for the victory over your circumstance.  GOD BLESS YOU!
