THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Happy Holidays, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that the Spirit of the Lord rest upon you and your family. I speak peace and joy into your life and that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord as you follow after Him.

(Psalms 17:8-9 and 27:5), Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, From the wicked that oppress med from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. (27:5), For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me, he shall set me up upon a rock.

First of all, let me just say this; these are some of my favorite scriptures.  If you really study those scriptures and believe exactly what the Word is saying, then you will always find peace in God.  When I was a young adult there were times when the troubles of this life had such a hold on me and I thought that I would never come out.  I was definitely "Young and Restless", knowing that God would hide me under His wings gave me a sense of hope and security.  I would imagine myself sitting under God's wings where the troubles of life would not even see me.

If you have a relationship with God, then you also have the same protection.  God considers you the apple of His eye.  Being hidden under the shadow of His wings from your enemies, does not necessary have to be people.  It can also include those things that you are suffering from, health issues, deliverance and even abuse problems.  God has a way of keeping you hidden until He is ready to release you out into the public.  While you are hidden in the pavilion, He is working on your character, your discernment, deliverance, health, your spirit and anything else that you will need to fight the good fight in this world.

The reason why this message is titled, "The Young and the Restless", is because in your twenties you are considered a young adult.  This is the period in your life where you have left your home and have ventured out into the world.  A lot of people always tell their parents, "I can't wait to leave this house". Then you find out that you have been protected by your parents from the real world.  This world can be a very scary place for some of us.  Even if you leave home and attend college, you still have to make your own decisions, make your own mistakes and correct your own mistakes.  Maybe you got pregnant before you had anticipated and now the dreams that you had as a child have to be put on hold or you have to completely change your direction in life.  Whatever direction that you have chosen, at some point in time you will be "Young and Restless". It is so easy for young adults to feel defeated by life's curves, turns, tricked and scammed by some man, that says he loves you.

Sometimes it may seems like no matter what you do you are in the enemies territory.  There was a moment in my life where I was going through hell, I mean I thought that I was never going to come out.  My boss told me, "One day you will look back on this moment and laugh".  I looked at her like I wanted to jump across her desk and strangle her.  I thought to myself, "I will never look back on this and laugh'.  Well, she was right.  I don't exactly laugh about the situation, but it is over and that situation will never come back again.

Whatever you are going through, it will end, as long as you trust in God and let Him handle it.  It is very hard to  do that because we don't see what God sees.  We see how horrible the problems is now, but God sees the outcome.  It seems like as soon as you overcome one mountain, here comes another, "The Young and the Restless", what do you do?  It is easy to become "Young and Restless" when you are going through troubles, as you grow in God, He will give you a spirit of discernment.  You need discernment if you are going to make it through this life.  Discernment can keep you out of some of the situations that you encounter. When things get to the point where you really get restless, remember (Psalms 17:5) and imagine yourself resting in the wings of God.  Hidden from all life's problems.  The bible says that God knows the thoughts He has towards you and they are that you prosper and not fall.  His Word does not return to Him void.  Meaning, since you are the apple of His eye, He has sent His Word out concerning you and whatever He decrees then it is so. I promised you, what you think is the worst thing that you can handle, it's nothing compared to what lye's ahead.  So you mind as well gird up your loins, wipe your tears and keep on moving, you'll make it.  Even in my late forties, there are times that I bury my head in my hands and think that I cannot make it any further, then Psalms 17:5 comes into my heart.  PRAISE GOD!

Please don't forget to register for the "Women's Conference" May 25, 2013, I want to make sure that I have enough space and gifts for everyone.  Whenever you are doing something for the glory of God it should be decent and in order.  I need to make sure that everything is done for the glory of God.  The Conference is no cost to you.  I don't believe in charging people to hear the Word of God.  I am also a prophetess, so God may just have a message for you.  If only 13 people show up, then those are the ones that God wants there.  Thank you and God bless you.
