WRESTLING

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  My prayer for you today is that your receive this message from the Lord to you. Realizing that we all at some time or other doing struggle.

(Romans 7:15-16 and 20 and Eph. 6:12), For I do not understand my own actions, I am baffled, bewildered.  I do not practice or accomplish what I wish, but I do the very thing that I loathe.  (20), Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it but the sin which dwells within me, fixed and operating in my soul.  (Eph. 6:12), For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Paul is struggling with a particular sin, though the bible does not state what he was wrestling with we do know that Paul understood that he was not perfect.  Although the Lord nor Paul condones sin, God knows that sin is always lurking over us.  We must come to the realization that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, now sits at the right hand of God, the Father interceding on our behalf.  The reason why believing and having faith in that, will release us from feeling condemnation for our iniquities (sin).

Paul is stating that he knows what is the right thing to do, but he has not yet mastered putting to death his flesh.  I know what is right and noble but I wonder why I don't do that.  Instead, through my fleshly nature, I tend to do what I do not want to do.  God understood that Paul was wrestling with sin and God also knows what we would struggle with before we were born.  The main and only reason why God, the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth was to bridge the gap between us and God the Father.  He bridged the gap the moment He died on the cross.  Bridging the gap allows us to come boldly before God and make our request known to Him.  Through faith you must know that you know that you know you are forgiven.  If you don't have faith, that's when the devil whispers in your ear that because of your sin, your are not worthy of our Lord's blessings, grace and mercy.

You must understand what the scriptures mean when it says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against the rulers of this world, the ruler of darkness.  Since we know that our Lord, is the light (a beacon) for us, then the ruler of this world and darkness is Satan.  We cannot fight flesh with flesh, but we have to fight this spiritual battle with the Spirit of the Lord, which dwell on the inside of each of us, the moment that we accepted our Lord and invited Him to dwell with us.  Being born again simply means that we were born in sin by our mother, which is our first birth.  Once we are baptized that is our second birth, which then also bridges the gap that was once unavailable to us.

The Lord's message to you today is to remind you that your sins are covered and to remind you of why He died on the cross and shed His blood.  It is no secret to Him as to what you will wrestle against from the moment that you were born.  If the Lord was not going to accept your prayers for forgiveness, you would not be here today, because our Lord has authority over life and death.  Don't be so hard on yourself when you don't overcome your flesh everyday.  Each day that our Lord allows you to wake up is another opportunity for you to get it right.  To overcome and die to your flesh.  Know that you are not fighting this fight alone and that our Lord, Jesus Christ is interceding on your behalf.  PRAISE GOD!
