Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I thank the Lord for each of you everyday and my prayers are always with you.  I speak the power of the Holy Spirit over your life and pray that you walk in the love of Jesus Christ.
(Luke 23:39-46), One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at Him: "Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" But the other criminal rebuked him. "Don't you fear God, "he said, since you are under the same sentence?" We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining, an the curtain of the temple was torn in two. (46) Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last.
Today the Lord Jesus Christ wants you to have full knowledge about what it means to be compassionate towards others.  I found it necessary to include the scriptures that are typed because all of them are very important. In my opinion, verse 46 along with (John 3:16) are the most important verses in the New Testament. One scripture tells about the death of Christ and the other the life of Christ and to us life in Christ.
Compassion is something that you must have in order to get along with people that you don't particulary care for or people that have purposely wronged you.  We have all known people that just get on your last nerve but the spirit of compassion says that you cannot keep that type of spirit within you.  It may be a family member that has done you wrong or co-worker.  That is the time when you must have the ability to be compassionate.  Being compassionate is a lot different than showing love towards your neighbor.  You must develop a spirit of compassion, it doesn't happen overnight. It takes compassion to raise a child that's not yours.  It takes compassion to forgive someone that has cheated in the relationship.  It takes compassion to be able to speak to the parent that you did not have a relationship with as a child.  Compassion does not rely on what someone has done to you, it relies on what Jesus Christ has done for you.  God the Father had compassion when He sent God the Son to give up His life for us.
Compassion is what kept Jesus Christ on the cross when the criminal insulted Him, by saying, "If you are the Christ then release all of us".  He could have gotten down off His cross if he wanted to.  Instead, Jesus Christ the Messiah showed compassion on the thief that asked Jesus to remember him.  Compassion is what Jesus Christ has for each of us, even though none of us deserve it.  So you see, compassion looks beyond what you may see, feel, think or know about someone or their situation.  Being compassionate to someone that has purposely wronged you or you think that you just can't stand them can lead them to Christ Jesus and that is what serving the Lord is all about.  It's not about you. GIVE THE LORD PRAISE FOR HAVING COMPASSION ON YOU!  AMEN!
