FOR THE GLORY OF GOD

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

Thank you so much for the responses that I received from you about my upcoming book.  I have been writing since the third grade and I guess I am now ready for the Lord to use me to minister through my writing.  I thank God so much for pushing me, He has given me the talent and I have to use it for His purpose.  You ladies in the ministry have been a great inspiration for me to keep writing, I thank God for you.

(1 Corinthians 10:31-33), So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.  do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, or Greeks or the church of God, even as I try to please everybody in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

(1 Corinthians 11:1), Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

This scripture is a reminder to you that in everything that you do, you should be doing it for the glory of God.  The Apostle Paul is saying that he is not seeking to be praise by man, but he is glorifying God for the good of many.  He seeks to do everything so that the people will praise God and will observed his good behavior and want to be saved.  Paul is saying that we should do everything to the glory of God; therefore through our actions, others will be saved.

Do not cause anyone to stumble.  This scripture is saying that you should be very careful of what you say and do because others are watching you.  If you are not carrying yourself as a Christian or woman of God, you will cause someone else to stumble in their walk with Christ.  You never know who could be watching you and your demeanor so be very watchful of your own behavior.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.  This scripture is very important because you should be following the Word of Christ.  You are to be an example for others as a Christian.  Now, if someone is not following Christ, then you should not be following them.  Know what the bible says concerning certain things and you will not stumble by following someone that is not following Christ.  Sometimes we get caught up in all the fancy things that people say and when you really think about it, they are not knowledgeable about the Word of God.  That is why it is so important that you know the Word of God and follow your heart and follow after Christ.

Years ago, I made a tremendous mistake by following man and not Christ.  I knew what the bible said concerning the way the pastor, ministers and church should act but I ignored the signs that God was revealing to me.  I wanted friends, instead of the truth.  By the time I decided to listen to the Lord, I was wounded in that church.  There are certain guidelines in the bible, that a pastor should have in place before he/she decides to start a ministry.  These guidelines where not followed.

In conclusion, the message is to glorify the Lord God in everything you do and say, therefore you will not have anyone to say that you don't act like a Christian.  Once people find out that you are a Christian, they tend to watch you and everything that you do, waiting for you to do something wrong.  They want to say gotcha!.  When you are at work, you are to follow all the rules of that workplace, that is how you can glorify God in the workplace.  Don't take extra time for lunch, leave work early, or come in late.  When in you home, you are to glorify God by taking good care of the place that He has given you to live.  Clean up you house as if God Himself is coming to visit you.  If you are doing the smaller tasks, do it to the glory of God.  This is a form of worship.  GOD BLESS YOU!
