JUDGEMENT DAY - OUCH!

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you have a blessed and fruitful day and that you gain favor of the Lord Jesus Christ as you follow after Him.

(James 4:12), there is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy; who art thou that judgest another?

About ten years ago I had a job where one of my co-workers continuously came to work with the smell of alcohol on her breath.  I mean her pores reaped with alcohol.  I would get so upset that I would spend the entire morning thinking about how horrible of a person she must have been because she was an alcoholic.

One day, on my way home for lunch, all I thought about was how awful she smelled, and wondering why she would come to work smelling like that.  Why don't she go to rehab?  The moment I got in the house and began making my lunch, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me, "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?  Did you forget how mudding and nasty you smelled?  Did you forget about the drinking and drugs I deliver you from?  I say you and I still loved you and show you My compassion.  YES, through all your mess.  How dare you judge someone else.  I bought you out to bring others out, to be a living testimony of My love and mercy for My people."

I am so glad that God waited for me to get from behind the wheel of my car before He spoke those words to me.  I probably would have had an accident, because the voice seemed so loud.  I used to be judgmental of people and I did not know how bad it had become until God spoke to me on that day.

Woman of God, the Lord can't use you if you are judging other shortcomings.  You are not perfect, but with God's help, you are in the process of being perfected.  It is very easy to sit back and look at another person's situation and be judgmental.  You are standing on the outside looking in at someone else's life and the have made up in your mind that she/he is no good and that their sin stinks more than your does.  You don't have that right.  You don't have the right to turn up your nose at someone else, just because you are not in that particular situation.  I am sure that you have been delivered from something, (smoking, drugs, shacking, friends with benefits, profanity, whoremonger, etc.). Remember where you came from and who brought you out of you sinful nature.  God could have left you spiritually dead but He decided that your testimony would be a blessing and not harmful to someone else.

I have heard a lot of women say, "I'm not judging her but . . .".  When what you are really saying is, "I am better than she is, I would never do this or that, I have never sinned and I have never needed God to deliver me from anything, I'm so perfect.  One more thing, be very careful when you stick your nose up in the air at your fellow sister because God could take His hands off of you and Satan can easily put you in that same situation.  You won't even see it coming.

Here's a message for all you perfect people out there, Judgment Day has not come just yet and when it does there will be only ONE JUDGE, HE WHO GIVES LIFE!  PRAISE GOD!

I MESSED UP

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace, love and joy upon your life.  May you be blessed abundantly by our Lord Jesus Christ as you follow after Him.

(Psalms 145:8) The Lord is gracious and full of compassion slow to anger and of great mercy.

I can't seem to read my bible.  I feel like I have really messed things up so badly this time.  I know that God has nothing good for me today.  I messed up everything in the Word of God.  All the things that I should not have done, I did.  The things I should have done, I did not.  Surely God has turned His back on me this time.  I have let Him down for the last time, promises I just did not keep.  There is nothing good in my flesh.  My desire is to keep my promises to Him, but I feel as if they are just empty promises.  Does God see me as a liar, never keeping my promises to Him to change my life? What's the point of praying?  He is not going to listen to me anymore.  God will not meet me in my prayer closet today.  I've really done it this time.

I wrote that in my journal on July 19, 2010.  Here I am three years later, with my first published book and so many more blessings from the Lord.  The Spirit of the Lord led me to that scripture as I hung my head down, searching the scriptures that would speak to my spirit.

Apostle Paul is reminded that sin will always be in the world, crouching at our doors, waiting for an opening.  Apostle Paul was once a murderer and a tax collector before he became a disciple of Jesus Christ.  Satan is always waiting for us to mess up, and make us feel so ashamed and think that the Lord has turned His back on us.  Let me encourage you, "I'll will never leave nor forsake you", thus saith the Lord.  The devil is a liar and a deceiver, that's his job.  Satan is constantly going to and fro in the heavens accusing the saints of God; but we have a High Priest sitting on the right hand of God, interceding on our behalf.

Mighty woman of God, the next time you feel like you have MESSED UP so badly, think about this: We serve a compassionate, merciful and longsuffering God.  God is not like your friends, spouse or family members that might get so mad at you and turn their backs on you.  God will never tell you to come back when you got your life together.  There is nothing that you did in the past or will do in the future that will surprise Him.  No that's the kind of God we serve.  The Lord is omniscient (knows all).  He has already made provision for your mistakes and shortcomings.  The next time the devil whispers in your ear, that you are not good enough, and tries to remind you about your shortcomings or your past, you remind him that Jesus Christ the Messiah, defeated him, took the keys of hell from him and made a spectacle of him in the eyes of all his demonic spirits, and that you sins are all PAID IN FULL.  Then you begin to praise God for He endless mercy that He gives to you.  AMEN!

WELCOME, HOLY SPIRIT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Good morning, Holy Spirit!  My prayer for you today is that through this devotional, you will gain more knowledge about the Holy Spirit the third person of the Trinity.

(Acts 1:8), But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 2:4), All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.  (Acts 2:17-18), In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.  Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy.

One of the things that I have learned from people and other churches is that the Holy Spirit is rarely taught or spoken about.  In my opinion, it is because people don't fully understand the work of the Holy Spirit.  Also because they think of the Holy Spirit as thing or a that.  Also note that in the bible whenever the word is speaking about God, the Father and the Son, capital letters are used, notice in the scriptures when speaking about the Holy Spirit, caps are also used because they are pronouns.

In Acts 1:4-5, Jesus tells His disciples not to leave Jerusalem and to wait for the gift the His Father promised to them.  His also goes on to say the John baptized them with water, but they will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.  Please note that when you got baptized the pastor or minister that baptized you said, "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, so we must believe that there is a reason that the Holy Spirit was not left out.  Jesus was telling His disciples that they will receive power to evangelize, laid hands on the sick and add to the Body of Christ because the Holy Spirit will give them the words to speak and the power to heal the sick.

Jesus tells the disciples that God will pour out His Spirit upon them, men and women.  So the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord.  Also note that men and women will receive that same Spirit (Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord).  Some churches teach that women are supposed to be silent in the church and that they will not have the Spirit of the Lord to minister in the church. That's another lesson and another time.

Here's my quick story:  It was my turn to give the sermon to the church on Sunday and I prayed and took notes for a week.  I spent a lot of time with the Holy Spirit and reading my bible.  While on my way to church, I realized that I forgot my notes.  I told my daughter to drive so that I could write down what I could remember.  Once I got to church, I was seated in the front while we had praise and worship.  Then the pastor announced me and I went up to the pulpit.  Once I stood there, I realized that I left my notes in the chair.  I did not want to go back to get them, I just starred at them in that chair.  I would say that my notes were looking at me laughing.  So, I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and I hear the Holy Spirit say, "open your mouth".  Having no other choice, I was obedient to the Holy Spirit.  I much say that He used me in a mighty way.  It was the best sermon I had every given.  After the service, I heard the Holy Spirit say, "it's not about you".  I learned a very valuable lesson that day, which was, not by my power or my spirit but the Holy Spirit is the One that should speak for us, to glorify the Lord.

The reason why people don't understand who the Holy Spirit is or understand the work of the Holy Spirit, is because they have never allowed the Holy Spirit to used them.  Spending time in worship and prayer, welcoming the Holy Spirit is what you need to do.  Also, sometimes the Holy Spirit will have you do something that seems weird so people don't trust the Holy Spirit or let Him have complete control over their mind or will.  Some people don't really receive the gift of the Holy Spirit because they don't understand exactly what it means.  It is human nature not to receive something that we don't understand.  I pray that this lesson will be of help and to give you hope today.  PRAISE GOD!

I WANT THAT GIFT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that this message will bless you.

(1 Cor. 7:7), I wish that all men were as I am.  But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that. (1Tim. 4:14-16), Do not neglect your gift which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.  Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.  Watch your life and doctrine closely. persevere in them, because of you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.  (1Peter 4:10), Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

I tried to delete one of those scriptures, but the Holy Spirit says, each one is for your knowledge as well as my own.  As I was led to those scriptures, I learned something for myself.  I will try to cover what we need today, as short as I possibly can, but know this, I am always led by the Holy Spirit when doing my blogs.

A lot of Christians desire to have gifts in the church.  What I am concerned about that is WHY?  The scripture states that God gives gifts, according to how He see fits.  And a lot of people don't want the gift that God has given to them, because they can't show it off.  So instead they will neglect the gift and wait for God to give them something more flashy.  Something that the whole world will see that they have.  Those people with that type of mindset will not do what (1 Peter 4:10) states (Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms).

God gives you the gift that He knows will glorify Him, not you.  The gift that God gives to you is not so that you will be glorified and marveled by others in the church or Body of Christ.  The gift is to serve others and if you do that, you will notice that you are also blessed and drawn closer to God.
Here's my story.  The church that I come from had a large congregation.  One bible study night, the Pastor mentioned that the congregation look over the 52 different ministries, pray about it and become a part of that ministry, that God lead you to.  I looked over the list and the Holy Spirit told me to join the prayer ministry.  I love to pray, I prayed all the time, so I thought it was a perfect fit for me.  What I didn't know was that the prayer ministry was more than just praying for people.  You will eventually be taking on the ministry of a prayer warrior, which meant spiritual warfare.  I was not knowledgeable about any of that but I keep going further in the Prayer Ministry. First, I received the gifts of speaking in tongues.  I thought that was good.  I didn't know why I needed that gift, but it was soon revealed to me that in order to do spiritual warfare, I needed that gift.  I fixed up a small space in my attic and I begin to pray all the time.  That was my special place to meet God and get direction from Him.  I learned how to listen to God and be obedient to Him.  No matter how crazy I thought His instructions were, I followed them.
I went to a number of classes that were offered in the church.  One day while learning more about spiritual warfare, the elder that was teaching the class told us what I thought then to be a scary situation that had actually happened to him.  He told the class that one night as he was sleeping he felt something holding him down, by his feet.  He looked up and saw a dark figure and he immediately prayed and it left.  He went back to sleep.  Needless to say, my mouth was wide open and I said to myself, "I didn't sign up for this".

Anyway, the next gift that I received from God was the gift of knowledge (a prophetic gift).  Because I was faithful and obedient, God began to trust me with more.  The gift of speaking in tongues and the prophetic gift are very much needed in the ministry that God has called me to do.  That didn't happen overnight.  I never asked for any of those gifts, but I accepted what the Holy Spirit began to do in my life.  What I realized is that each of my gifts are needed as a whole to complete the task that the Lord has set before me.  Some people observe my spiritual gift and think it's so great to have, but are you willing to pay the price.  Are you willing to lay on your face before the Lord for hours at a time.  The gifts I have are for the church and the edification of the Body of Christ.  When people would say thank you or try to give me the praise, my answer is, "Thank God for your blessing, not me".  Because of my ministry, spiritual warfare is a big part of my life.  Whatever gift you have, you will need to do spiritual warfare, there is no way around it.
My prayer for you today, is that you not only read those scriptures, but accept them as the Word of God and realize that the gifts given by the Spirit of the Lord, are not so that you will be glorified or praised.  The gift is not for you to be next to the pastor.  Don't desire to have someone else's gift because you think it's so great.  Accept whatever gift God has given to you and use it for the Body of Christ.  PRAISE GOD!
Heavenly Father, I pray that each one that reads your message is both blessed and warned concerning the gifts that YOU have chosen for them.  I pray that each one use their spiritual gifts for the Body of Christ and not just their body.  I pray Lord that YOU are glorified through each of us as we begin to we mature in the gifts that YOU have given to us.  In Jesus name, Amen.

RUN TO THE LIGHT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  My prayer for you today is that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  May you be abundantly blessed as you follow after Him.

(2 Samuel 22:9), You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light. (Psalms 119:105), Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. (John 3:19), This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

I love the way that the Holy Spirit gives me titles for the devotional messages.  I was watching a scary movie last night and you know we always want to shout to the people telling them to turn around.  We wait eagerly for a monster to pop out of nowhere to make us jump, usually it's just a kitten.  Anyway, here's our message for today.

One of the things that I always notice in a horror or suspense movie is that, when the person thinks that someone or something is in their home, they always go looking in the dark.  You say to yourself, "why don't they turn on the light"?  But of course, they don't turn on the light, they blindly walk through the house with a weapon of some sort, looking for whatever has invaded their home.  We still scream at the television, TURN ON THE LIGHT!

The devil is very cunning and deceitful, that's his job.  You better believe that the devil is always doing his job.  Some of us Christians are not always on our job.  When the devil is reaking havoc all around us and in our home, we blindly walk around the house wondering where he is.

If you don't invite the Lord, Jesus Christ into your home, your heart, your soul and your mind, you will never have the light that is needed to defeat the enemy.  You are walking around in the darkness expecting the Lord to give you victory in your situation.  If you don't take time out of your busy schedule to communicate with the Lord, talk with Him, and listen to Him, you are going to stay in the darkness.  Jesus Christ is the Light of the world.  Without Him there is only darkness.  If you never turn on the light, you will never see the enemy coming.  Once you enter into your home, the first thing that most people do, if it's dark, is to reach for the light switch, so that you can see your way around your home.

Light overcomes darkness.  Jesus Christ overcame Satan.  Christ is the light that you need in order to overcome the enemy.  The God, the Father has made it so easy for us to receive the Light that He sent to us, to die for us sinners and send the Comforter (the Holy Spirit).  God, the Father says, "if you deny my Light (His Son), then He will deny you.  You don't have to walk around in the dark looking for the enemy if you have turned on the Light (Jesus Christ).  PRAISE GOD!

COUNTERFEIT CHRISTIANS

Good morning, Mighty woman of God!  I thank God for each of you and your prayers for myself and my family.  I esteem each of you higher than myself.  I thank God for the God in you.  God bless you.

(2 Timothy 3:5-7), having a form of godliness but denying its power.  Have nothing to do with them.  They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

Please read the entire chapter of (2 Tim. 3), the whole chapter is very important for gaining knowledge and wisdom.

I am going to give you a quick skit.  There are four women on a prayer line that are supposed to be praying for another sister in the church.  Someone that they say that they care very deeply for.

Woman 1:  "Is everyone on the prayer line now?"  Woman 2: "Yes, we're all here". Woman 1: Does anyone have a special prayer request before we pray for the Body of Christ?" Woman 3: "Yes, we need to pray for sister Shirley today".  Woman 4: "Why, what's going on with her?"  Woman 1: Didn't you hear, her husband left her and those rotten kids and moved in with her best friend".  Woman 2: "No, your kidding." Woman 3:  "I heard the same thing, and did you hear what happened to her son?" Woman 3: "No, what happened?"  Woman 3: "He just got out of jail last night, got caught with drugs in his car".  Woman 1:  "And you know her daughter is only 13 and at the rate she's going with boys, she'll probably be pregnant before she gets out of high school." Woman 4: "I know that's right".  Woman 2:  "You know I saw sister Shirley at the store yesterday and she was looking a hot mess". Woman 4: " What!"  Woman 2: "Yeah, her hair was all over her head and her nails weren't even done".  Woman 1:  Yeah, we definitely have to pray for that whole family, cause the devil is running all over that house".  Woman 1: "Does anyone else have a prayer request?"  Woman 3: "No that's all".  All Women: "Thank you Jesus for hearing our prayer, Amen".  "Everyone have a blessed day, see you at church service tomorrow".

I hope that you were able to keep up with the women and understand exactly what just went down on the so-called prayer line.  If that seems a little steep, I assure you that scenario happens on a lot of prayer lines.  As you read over the scripture, notice that the scripture says that women will be preyed on.  The scripture does not say that men will prey on weak-willed women.  Of course, that is also one way of looking at it, but since this is all about women, the same goes for women in the church.  Women do prey on other women, that they deem as weak-minded.  There are women in the church that seek out babes in Christ.  As babes in Christ women are very trusting and a lot of times are in need of not only to be a part of the Body of Christ, but seeking out true friendships.  Those women on that prayer line possess only "a form of godliness".

Lastly, when I was a babe in Christ and not sure of the myself, having low self-esteem, and in need of true friends in the church I was treated unjustly.  I allowed certain women to come into my home and literally try to run my home.  One pastor's wife, actually told me that I should talk to them before I put my kids on punishment.  What I did was go to God in prayer, flooded with tears and asked the Lord to show me the truth about that person and the church.  The very next day, God showed me what I needed to see.  It was rough but, God held me the whole time I cried.  I served that pastor's wife according to the Word of God.  I serve for God, not her and that was one of the reasons why the Lord showed me that there was only a form of godliness in that particular church.

You need to have good communication skills when it comes to your relationship with God. He will give you discernment in order to keep you safe from women that prey on the babes in the Body of Christ.  If you don't have a close relationship with the Lord, you will not be able to hear Him when He tells you, "it's time to move".  If you are living as best you can for the Lord, He will protect you and He will not allow you to get hurt by women that act like the ones depicted on the prayer line.  If you have gotten hurt in such a way, know that God still has your back and take it as a lesson learned, kick the dust from your feet and move on.  AMEN!

TRADITIONALLY SPEAKING

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace, love and joy upon your life.  May you prosper abundantly as you seek after our Lord, Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.

(Romans 12:2), And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Okay, my sisters, a quick English lesson, according to the Webster's Dictionary.  (Conform = to shape after, to be similar in form or character.  To behave in accordance with modes or customs.  To bring into agreement).  (Tradition = a mode of thought or behavior passed from one generation to another.)

I am always astounded by the way that the Holy Spirit teaches me something new.  I have taught on that particular scriptures a couple of times and what I love most about the Holy Spirit is that scriptures never get old, because He gives a fresh revelation, every time you need it.  I thank God for His Word given to me on a constant basis, as long as I am obedient and open-minded.  That is our word for today, OPEN-MINDED.  In order to gain wisdom as to what the Spirit of the Lord is trying to deliver to you today, you much keep an open mind.  Anyway, here we go!

Tradition has a way of keeping you bound, if you are not careful or closed-minded and not willing to listen to a new way or being stuck in your ways.  For some reason, it is always safer to conform instead of transforming by changing the way we think by renewing our mind.  If you are going through life always conforming and sticking to tradition, you will never transform because you will not renew your mind or way of thinking.  We just don't seem to ask the question WHY?  You only do as you are told, not asking any questions in fear of not being accepted.

Because something has always been done a certain way does not make it right or wrong, only if you, yourself know and understand the reason why.  For instance, if you ask someone why do you pray or worship that way, and that person's answer to you is, "because that's the way, it's always been done, generation after generation".  In reality you are looking for a better, more clearer answer than that, but instead you conformed to their way, not researching the reason why, it is the way it is.  In other words you don't want to stir up any trouble.

Here's an example:  Your great grandmother has passed down her delicious recipe for homemade apple pie to your grandmother and your grandmother makes a mean apple pie, it's the bomb.  Your grandmother passed the recipe down to your mother and now it's your turn to get the recipe for your daughter to follow.  Now, there is nothing wrong with the recipe passed down from generation to generation but you want to change the recipe by adding a cup of sugar.  The only reason why you are adding a cup of sugar is because your taste buds are a little bit different than generations before you.  Again, that doesn't make your great grandmothers recipe wrong, you just like it a little bit sweeter.  Are you following me?  It's time for the saints of God to move out of tradition in order for us to experience a miraculous move of God.  This generation is looking for a move of the Spirit of God.  They don't want to just observe it, they desire to be a part of it.  Not just hear about the goodness of God, but taste the goodness of God.

Now let's move this into the spirit realm.  A lot of churches are spiritually bound because they are used to doing things one way.  Tradition has a way of keeping the churches bound.  No one has ever spoke in tongues before, so the church does not allow it.  No one has ever actually laid hands on the sick, as the disciples have done, so the church does not allow it.  No one has ever been delivered from anything in the church for as long as the Pastor can remember.  No one dances for the Lord, because that's not the way they are used to doing it.  We sing when we stand on this song, we sit on that song.  Even though the old Pastor has retired and the new Pastor is younger and would like to lay hands on the sick, speak prophetically in the congregations life, let you get your praise on, he conforms to the tradition of the churches old ways of doing things in fear that the people will leave the church.  So that's how it is and that's how it will be (let's just stick to tradition).  In the meantime, you have people hungry for Jesus Christ.  Not only are they hungry for the Word of God, but are seeking prayer and deliverance.  They are not willing to conform to the old way, because they have tasted something better. Tradition will keep you from not only receiving God's best, but also not able to give God's best.  You can't keep God in a box and expect Him to move in a mighty way through a box.  God is way bigger than any box you could possibly ever imagine.

One more thing.  What if someone is just waiting on you to make a change to the traditional way.  There are so many people waiting for a transformation to take place in the churches.  We are hungry for the move of God, but tradition will keep us bound, generation after generation, because no one wants to renew their mind and transform instead of conform.  PRAISE GOD!

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life.  I pray that you received all the blessings that God has in store for you as you follow after Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

(Romans 12:1-3), I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

As I was washing the dishes this morning, I had a skillet in my hand and I began to wash the inside of it.  I put a lot of soap in the skillet to make sure that all the grease was gone.  Then I turned the skillet over and just ran the rag over the bottom of the skillet and lightly wash the handle of the skillet.  That's when I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me, "that's the way my people are".  What was the Lord saying to me?  Then I heard, "my people don't wash the bottom or handles of pots".  I still don't get what the Lord was saying to me.  "my people only wash what others may see, but they don't wash what others cannot see".  Would you like to handle something that is not clean?  I cannot handle my people that are not clean."

Can you handle the truth?  Can God handle you?  Have you been washed clean or are you still perpetrating  and trying to fool people into thinking that you are so holy?  That you have your life all together.  Are you busy looking at other peoples dirty handles that you can't see your own?  Are you only clean on the top and still hiding the part of you that others don't see? When the truth of the matter is that you are dealing with far more demonic spirits than the persons sin that you can see on the outside.  When we are truthful with ourselves, coming clean that we don't have it all together and pray that God will deliver us from the sin that we are trying to hide.

Once you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have an obligation to God and yourself to present your living bodies holy, and acceptable to God.  Now, understand that God knows that we are all sinners, that is the reason why God sent His Son to die on the cross for you and for me.  The Lord knows that we will never be perfect, but He does expect us to at the least strive towards holiness.  We have to renew our minds, so that we are not easy manipulated by Satan, causing us to be transformed by worldly things.  Being a Christian comes with a cost.  First, Christ paid for our sins, by dying on the cross and shedding His blood.  That was the cost that He paid for us.  The cost that we must pay is to not be conformed into worldly things.

The best way to keep our minds renewed is to stay in constant communication with the Lord and studying His word.  Before you start reading the bible, pray that the Holy Spirit will give you fresh revelation, wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God.  You might read your bible all the time and know the scriptures by heart, but it is always a good idea to pray that prayer because the Holy Spirit will give you exactly what you need from God that day.  You can read a scripture today to give you encouragement and next year that same scripture will give you another meaning, according to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you.

Never think of ourselves as highly than others, because we are all God's children.  Just because we may not be dealing with the same sin as our sister, that does not give you the right to be judgmental.  Can you handle the truth?  Remember we all have our demons to destroy.  Some of us are better at hiding our sins from our sisters, but we can never hid them from God.  Can God touch you and not get dirty?  Can God handle you and not get dirty.  Have you only washed the parts of you that people can see on the outside?  Are you carrying bitterness, strive, sexual sins, judgment of other, etc.).

The best way to keep our handles and the bottom of our skillets (our mind, body and spirit), holy and acceptable to God is to allow the Spirit of the Lord to dwell within us, and create in us a clean heart, everyday.  Everyday our lives bring new challenges, trials and situations that may try to keep us from presenting our bodies holy and acceptable to God.  That is the reason why we must invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within us on a daily basis.  PRAISE GOD!

QUARANTINED!

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak the Lord's blessings of peace, joy and His love upon your life.  May you continue to flourish spiritually as you seek after our Lord, Jesus Christ.

(Psalms 4:3), For know that the Lord hath set apart  him that is godly for Himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto Him.

Quarantine as defined in Webster's Dictionary, a period of enforced isolation at a port of entry that is imposed on a vehicle, a person, or material suspected of carrying a contagious disease.

A period of enforced isolation - The only person that can place someone in quarantine is someone with authority.  Back in the day, when a household was sick or inflicted with a disease a person in authority would go to that house and place a quarantine sign on the door of that house.  Everyone in the town could see the quarantine sign and would immediately move away from your house.

God has the authority to place you and your household in quarantine.  God has placed a sign of the blood of the Lamb upon your door.  Once you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He immediately placed you in a state of quarantine.  Meaning when the devil show up at your doorway, he is immediately turned away by the quarantine sign (which is the Blood of Jesus Christ).  He will not be allowed in.  God has placed you in quarantine so that the devil will not be able to bind you or anyone in your household.  At that point it is God Himself that has the authority to rebuke the devil anytime he tries to enter in your household.  In order to keep the sign that God has placed over your life, you have got to read His word, and pray on a constant basis.  As long as you carrying the word of Christ in your heart and mind, that blood of the Lamb that keeps you in quarantine from the devil.

There are many, many demonic spirits that attempt to attack us on a daily basis.  Sometimes it may seem like as soon as you wake up, you feel that you are under attack by the enemy.  The contagious disease that the devil will bring into your household will afflict you and everyone in your household. The spirit of jealousy, hatred, strife, drugs, drunkenness, judgment, this list goes on and on.

If you have not accepting our Lord, Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will not be under the protection of the Lord.  Your household will not be put in a state of quarantine and anything that the devil desires, he will afflict upon you.  It is far better to suffer for Christ sake and being covered by His Blood and by His stripes, than to be out of the protection of Christ and left to be consumed by the contagious diseases that the devil will bring into your home.

Thank God for the Blood of the Lamb (Lord, Jesus Christ).  Thank God for placing a quarantine sign over your mind, heart and soul so that the enemy will not be allowed in.  PRAISE GOD!

INSIDE OUT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I am going to always call you "Mighty Woman of God", speaking those words into your life everyday.  You are a Mighty Woman even while you are waiting for your deliverance to come to pass.

(Psalms 51:7-10), Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.  Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.  Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit with me.  Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

David had a special relationship with God.  And one of the things that you should know about Davis is that he had a man killed just so that he could have that man's wife.  He desired that woman so badly that he sent her husband to the front line of the battlefield.  Another thing that you should know about David is that he knew where his blessings came from (God).  David knew how to get God's attention, through his songs, always asking for forgiveness.  David was always humble when asking God to forgive him.

Mighty woman of God, the Lord is reminded you today that no matter what you've done or where you've been you can always come to Him and He will cleanse you, whiter than snow.  There is no other God that will save you from eternal damnation.  You can always pray to God and ask Him to blot out all your sins and God will do just that.  One thing that you should do is call your sin out.  Some people just have a general prayer that goes a little like this, "Lord, forgive me for my sins, in Jesus name, Amen".  Now while we are not always conscience of every sin, we do remember most of them.  They reason why you should call out your sin, is that you are putting the devil on notice, than he cannot reign in your life.  The devil get excited every time we sin, but when we humble ourselves in prayer and go to God and call out our sin, the devil is defeated.

We should pray daily that God will create in us a clean heart and steadfast spirit, before we even start our daily activities.  Because the enemy is always waiting for us to mess up.  He looks for every little thing so that he can bring your sins before God.  But if you brings your sins before God, you beat the devil to the punch.  God desires for you to always have a pure heart.  Your motives for serving Him are pure.  Some people do things just so that they can be noticed by man, there motives are not pure and neither is their heart.  God would rather see your pure motives from your heart and you are not boastful to man.

In Psalms 51:11, I noticed that David asked God not to take His presence away from him or take away God's Holy Ghost from him.  That is very important to know because the Holy Spirit is not talked about much until the book of Acts.  In the book of Acts, Jesus tell His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father and that He would not leave them comfortless, but that He will send the Holy Spirit to comfort us and teach us all things.  But here David recognized the presence of God and His spirit, asking God not to take His Spirit away.

Praying that God will not leave us or take away His Spirit from us daily will no doubt keep us forever in His grace.  God knows everyone of our sins, past, presence and future, yet He still loves us.  Yet He still died on the cross for us.  God is a gentle God, so if we don't ask Him to come into our hearts, He will not, you need to invite Him in and to sup (stay) with you everyday.  The devil goes back and forth to heaven constantly accusing us before God.  So you have to beat the devil to the punch by asking for God's forgiveness on a constant basis.  Sometimes our sins may not be right in front of us for the world to see because sometimes we sin in our hearts and minds.  You should pray that God forgives you for the thoughts our things you had in your heart that did not glorify His name.  We don't always say what we think but if the thought comes to mind, we have already sinned.

Don't let the enemy trick you by whispering in your ear that you really messed up this time or that God is mad at you.  If God were to get mad at us every time we sin, then He would not have created us. Pray that God will cleanse you from the inside to the outside.  If we have a pure heart and humble spirit before God, He will cleanse you on the inside and your beauty will be reflected on the outside.  Remember always that there is no sin that God will not forgive, other than denying His Holy Spirit.  PRAISE GOD!

THE SHADOW OF DEATH

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings upon your life and may you experience the fullness of the Spirit of the Lord, Jesus Christ as you seek and follow after Him.

(Psalms 7:8-9), Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings from the wicked who assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me.

I going to give you a quick history lesson, in order to bring today's message to light for you.  My prayer for you is that you are blessed and you are comforted and encouraged in your heart.  The Lord God's desire for you is that you not only grasp His message, but that you hide it in your heart.

There are quite a few stories in the bible that talk about the way that God hides His people until they are ready to be used by Him.  God has hidden everyone in the bible that He had a special plans and purpose for.  For instance, let's look at the birth of Moses.  He hid Moses from the Pharaoh for years.  Moses' mother placed him in a basket in the river because the Pharaoh heard about a deliver being born.  The Pharaoh gave his soldiers instructions to kill every male baby that was born that year.  But little did the Pharaoh know that he would raise the deliverer himself.  When Mary was carrying our Savior, Jesus Christ, the Spirit of the Lord told Joseph to hide Mary in the manger to give birth the King of Kings.

Woman of God, I want to encourage you today.  God has hidden you from the enemy.  God has hidden you from some of the dangers that you would have gotten into if it were not for Him.  In fact, if you look back over your life, you will confirm that you have done some things that should have taken you out of this world.  Maybe, God is not talking to you through this message, so I'll just say this for myself.  If it had not been for God hiding me in the shadow of His wings. I would have been dead a long time ago.  I would have gotten the wrong type of drugs.  Someone could have sold me something that would have killed me.  I could have overdosed and been gone from this world.  I could have died, when I was 15 years old and my stepfather hit me in the face so hard that I passed out.  But God said not so, she is my vessel and I will pour My Spirit upon her.  Deirdre might know it right now, she might not be acting like my daughter right now, but I got her, I got this.  Back off Satan, you can't have her.  She will not get AIDS while she's sleeping around with any and everybody.  She will not get abused so badly that she will die.  I know she drinks and do drugs before and after church, but I got her.

Who is the Spirit of the Lord talking to right now?  I am feeling the presence of the Lord very strong right now.  Again, I say, who is the Lord talking to right now.  God says hold on, His got you.  You may not know it right now, it might not seem like you are going the right way, but God says, "you are His, He has already poured His anointing in you.  You will birth your ministry, you will become the woman of God that He will use.  God says, "you are dead although you should have been, because He has hidden you under His wings.  Who is the Spirit of the Lord speaking to right now?  The Holy Spirit has me crying right now.  I am crying for someone, that is going through the biggest trial right now.  God says, "think back to when you thought you would never come out of a situation, He bought you out, I will do it again my daughter, turn to me says God.  Who is the Spirit of the Lord speaking to right now?  GOD SAYS IT'S ONLY A SHADOW OF DEATH.  Shadows can't hurt you, and shadows aren't real.

Just like Moses, the enemy knew when your were going to be born and he knows the promise that God's has on your life.  The devil has tried to kill you several times but God says, "NO".  You have to say, "NO, get behind me satan".  God will hide you from the enemy until He says, you're done.

I gotta tell you I am also a Prophetess (a messenger for the Lord, God), I am very in tuned with the Lord and He just had me in spiritual battle for someone.  He is pulling down strongholds for you.  I just had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder and He allowed me to use it for battle for you.  I love you with the love of the Lord, Jesus Christ.  PRAISE GOD!

WRONG TURN

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  My prayer for you today is that you are blessed abundantly by the Lord our God.

When I first started this ministry, I promised I would always be honest about myself and my background history.  I feel that sometimes necessary for you to hear my testimonies, in order to give your comfort and encouragement.  I don't mind letting you know that the Lord, Jesus Christ had to reach way down low to snatch me out of the devils hand.  Anyway, I am going to throw myself under the bus once again.  I pray that you are blessed by today's message.

(Proverbs 3:5-8), Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.  This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

I really like those scriptures, but how many of you know that it is not always easy to live by those scriptures.  In fact, if did, I would not have made a WRONG TURN in my spiritual journey.

One thing that I really can't stand is that when you are lost and finally get up the nerve to ask a complete stranger for directions, that person gives you the wrong directions.  Now you are worst off than you were before you asked for help.  Well, that is exactly the way I can explain that chapter of my life.  Notice, I said, I asked a complete stranger for directions, when I should have asked my Lord for directions.

I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 19 years old.  I invited Him to come into my heart and soul and dwell there for the rest of my life.  I was on my first marriage at that young age.  I considered myself to have a close relationship with God.  My grandmother taught me a lot about God and from there I just started praying and talking to God.  God made me so happy even when I was going through a difficult time with my husband.  Somewhere along the road, my life changed, not because of God, but because I thought I wanted to do what co-worker and friends were doing.  I can remember hating to go to work on Monday's because I had to hear my co-workers talk about what a good time they had over the weekend.  I didn't like Fridays because they would talk about what they were going to do over the weekend.

I decided that I wanted to have some fun.  I met the wrong man and made a WRONG TURN.  He introduced me to cocaine and I feel in love with it.  That was the start of a downward spiral with my relationship with God.  I didn't have time for God.  If I did, I thought that I had messed up so badly that God wouldn't hear me anyway.  So I kept doing what I was doing.  I ended up spending my checks on cocaine and marijuana and got evicted from my home.  That WRONG TURN keep me bound for over 15 years.  I tried drug rehab and that only lasted for so long.  Yeah, yeah, 12 step program.  I still struggled on and off with drugs and then I picked up drinking.  I was already headed in the wrong direction and that WRONG TURN didn't help me either, it led me straight to hell.  Hell in my mind.  Not praying to God at all.

Out of all the things that I did wrong while on that WRONG TURN, I really missed talking to God.  I didn't even realize that God never left me, I left Him.  He was waiting for me to return to my first love, HIM.  If I had trusted God with all my heart, I would not have made that WRONG TURN, that ended up with me being lost for 15 years.  I didn't shun evil, I had run to evil.  I should have been dead a long time ago, but God was watching over me.  There could have been a time when I might have gotten some bad drugs and I thank God for watching over me, having mercy on me.

Mighty woman of God, I gave you my testimony, not for you to judge me but for you to realize that through all the bad decisions that you made and might still make, God has not left you.  I don't mind sharing my past mistakes if it will help you and your relationship with God. I have come a long way, and I know that I still have a long way to go, but in this chapter of my life, I am not going to travel alone, I will have God guiding my footstep and making my path straight.  If you are struggling with something that you can't talk about, pray and ask God to have mercy on you.  Don't give up on God, because He won't give up on you.  He has made provisions for your mistakes.  When we are so deep in sin, we don't think that God still loves us, but I can assure you that He does.  PRAISE GOD!

WHOA . . . OH . . . OH

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I thank God for each of you and esteem you higher than myself.  May the blessings of the Lord overtake and flow through you daily, as you seek after Him.

(Matthew 11:28), Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy; and my burden is light.

WHOA . . . OH . . . OH . . . OH.  That is your war cry.  I know that there are times that you just feel like screaming and placing your face in your hands.  I want you to know that, it's okay to cry.  It's okay to scream at the top of your lungs until you feel a shift in the spirit realm.  Crying does not mean that you don't have the faith to believe that the Lord will bring you out or turn your situation around for your good.  It just means you need to cry out.  It's doesn't mean that you don't trust the Lord.  Sometimes you just have to cry, WHOA . . . OH . . .OH . . .OH.  Let that be your war cry.  As long as you get back up again, it's okay to cry.  Your tears are a way of keeping you sane.

I am going to include the interpretation of the above scriptures from the (Matthew Henry Version) of the bible.

(Matt. 11:28), Come . . . rest: Jesus will give rest to those weary souls, that by faith come to him for it; rest from the terror of sin, in a well-grounded peace of conscience; a rest, in God, in His love, Ps. 11:6-7.  (Matt. 29), meek and lowly: Many great teachers are hot and hasty, which is a discouragement to those who are dull and slow; but Christ knows how to bear with such.  His carriage (action and attitude) toward His 12 disciples was a specimen of this.  He was mild and gentle with them; though they were heedless and forgetful, He was not extreme to mark their follies.  This promise is  from Jer. 6:16.  The only sure way to find rest for our souls is to sit at Christ's feet and hear His word.  (Matt. 11:30), yoke . . . burden: Not only easy, but gracious, so the word signifies; it is sweet and pleasant.  There is nothing in it to gall the yielding neck.  It is a yoke lined with love.  The burden of Christ's cross is a light burden.  This is not joyous, but grievous; yet as it is Christ's, it is light.  Paul knew as much of it as any man and he calls it light affliction, 2 Cor. 4:17.  God's presence (Isa. 43:2), Christ's sympathy (Isa. 73:9, Dan. 3:25), and especially the Spirit's aids and comforts (2 Cor. 1:15), make suffering for Christ light and easy.

I pray that through this interpretation that you have gained wisdom, knowledge and understanding about how merciful and meek that Jesus truly is. There will always be times in your life where you just feel weary, just tired of the trial and tribulation that you are bearing.  There is rest in God and His plans for you is that you find comfort in Him.  It is important for you to accept His peace and pray for rest when you are experiencing a heavy load.  Christ does not beat us over the head when we have fallen short of the Word of God.  He is meek and gentle.  He does not anger quickly when we are slow in our Spiritual Journey.  God knows where you are in Him, He is patient.  Jesus is the very essence of love.  The type of love that Christ displays can never be measured by our own understanding or the type of love that we may have towards our children, husband, friends or others we love.  PRAISE GOD!

I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY SISTER

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings of peace, love and joy upon your life.  May you flourish abundantly as you follow after our Lord, Jesus Christ.

(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, her friend can help her up.  But pity the woman who falls and has no one to help her up!  Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.  But how can one keep warm alone?  Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

I replaced the words (he, him, and man), with (her, she and woman). There are so many reasons why women leave the church.  Instead of lending a hand up, your sister gives you a foot down.  Some women prey on other women that they can take advantage of or manipulate.  Me aren't the only ones seeking vulnerable women in the church.  Some women seek out friendships just to make themselves look good.  Meaning as long as you can do something for them, they want you around.  But the moment your realize that you are being used by them they will cut you loose.

Sometimes women put a lot into a friendship.  We trust our sister with our innermost secrets and feelings.  When we take our sisters trust and misuse it, we are simply telling God that we can't be trusted.  We want God to help us with our ministry and we can't even be trusted.  God will not trust you with His creation (woman), because He knows your heart and motives are not pure.  There are so many women in the church that have been hurt by a sister in the Christ.  Some women are so stuck on getting a title in front of their name.  They show no love or compassion towards other women that need Godly advice or Godly friendships, someone that genuinely cares about them.

Mighty woman of God, it's time for us to stop kicking each other down.  It's time to stop all that backstabbing.  We don't need to push our sisters back just to get ahead.  It's time to be a real Christ-like sister toward each other.  We need to stop pushing each other down and start pulling one another up.  There is no reason to compete if you yourself feel complete.

God says that, "when one woman falls down, we should be trying to help our sister her up".  We should not have a motive as to why we are helping our sister, other than we want to show compassion to our sister in Christ.

I have taken a couple of blows in the church but I thank God that He gave me the discernment to recognize that the First Lady of the church was not a true friend.  That betrayal happened to me twice.  I cried and became bitter for awhile.  Then I finally allowed God to heal my heart and keep me moving forward.  God told me that it was my fault because I knew those particular sisters were not living according to the Word of God.  I trusted man, instead of trusting the Lord.  My word to you today is that when it comes to friendships, pray that the Lord will give you discernment and wisdom as to whom you let into your heart.  This will save you from what I had to go through in the church.  I know that once our trust is broken, it's becomes hard for us to trust again.  PRAISE GOD!

Don't forget to sign up for the "Women's Conference", time is going by fast and I am getting excited about what the Lord God is going to do at the conference.  Come on out for fellowship, fun, food and a spiritual move of the Spirit of the Lord.  I promise you, God would not be sending me all the way from Georgia for nothing.  I know that the Lord will show up, but more than that, He will meet us there.  Amen!  See you soon.

IS YOUR HEART IN FORECLOSURE?

Good morning, Mighty woman of God, this message is awesome.  I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for today and the message.  Keep an open mind as you read and I pray that you will be blessed by it.

(Psalms 147:3 and Psalms 34:18), He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.  For the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

Woman of God, as women we experience so much more of life's tosses and turns than men.  The reason is because we are receivers and nurturer's by nature.  Children tend to run to their mother's first whenever they are hurt.  Not that they don't have a relationship with the father, it's just that they know that we, as mother's will kiss them and make it all better.  Women are more emotional creatures.  We cry more, worry more and because of God's kindness, we have what we call a menstrual cycle.  That alone gives us a pass once a month on our emotional spirals.  We also tend to worry a lot more that men.  I know sometimes it seems like men just hum their way through life and just step over problems.  Women worry, and try to figure out how to walk through life quietly even when the world around us seems to be cracking into pieces.  Women also tend to have more nervous breakdowns than men.

Because of life's disappointments, trials, tribulations and worries, there may come a time when we decide enough is enough and put our hearts on foreclosure.  There may even come a time in your life when you are finding yourself disappointed in God.  Life's trials, tribulations and disappointments can allow you to unknowingly cause you to put a foreclosure sign over your heart.  If you do that, there are two very important factors here: (1) closing your heart so that you will never be hurt again will not allow the hurt to come out.  (2) closing your heart will not allow the love of God to get in.  You have to give God your hurts if you are ever going to live beyond them.

We have often hear and read the scripture over and over again that, By Jesus' stripes we are healed.  A lot of people take that scripture to mean only that Jesus can and will heal us from some diseases or physical problems.  We believe Jesus Christ will heal all sicknesses such as (cancer, lupus, AIDS, HIV, etc.).  We tend to focus on those illnesses that the Lord will heal, but what about the brokenhearted.  By His stripes we are healed of everything, not just the outward things that people can visually see that we are struggling with, but He is also a heart specialist and a mind regulator.  We tend to forget that Jesus Christ died on the cross and during the three days that He was away from the disciples and His mother, He was snatching the keys of hell from Satan.

Woman of God, you must believe that Christ not only died for your sins, but He is covering everything about you with His blood.  The Lord's ultimate plan for mankind, is that we are healed of all sicknesses and our broken heart.  He not only died for our sins but to heal and restore you unto Him.  You cannot be a witness for Christ if you are dealing with a broken heart.  He wants you to be whole, so that you can testify about His love and kindness.  His mercy and grace.

Sometimes women do such much for a man that will turn around and treat them badly, beat on them or cheat on them.  We put so much energy in an ungodly relationship and will not give God half the attention we give to a mere man.  God's answer to you today is, "if you give me the same amount of love that you give to a man, I will heal your broken heart.  I will raise you up so high that you will not even remember what caused your brokenheartedness.  I will raise you up to sore like an eagle my daughter, then you will grow.  Then I will cause your drought to cease and you will be like a tree planted by the living waters.  You know that I will never leave nor forsake you, but instead you rather put all your attention into winning a man's heart and not winning my heart.

Well, that is a prophetic word for someone.  I don't know who is it but whoever it is will definitely read this message.  I typed exactly what the Spirit of the Lord had me to type.  Also, God has just told me that, "whoever this message is for, will not receive it right away, you will suffer a little while longer, God says, then you will come to me and I will receive you, my daughter.  I love you.  PRAISE GOD!

DOING LAUNDRY

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings of peace and love upon your life today.  This message is going to hurt OUCH!  Prayerfully you will take a moment to placed it in your knowledge belt.  God bless!

(2 Corinthians 6:14-18), Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.  For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?  Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God.  As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people".  "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.  Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.  I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty".

I know that's a lot of scripture, but bare with me, I'm going to make this short and sweet.  First of all, let me just say, I AM NOT PERFECT.  I never claim to have all the answers.  I don't judge people nor do I ridicule people.  My bio. never allows me to forget that I've been through some things and yet still have a long way to go.  I am very truthful with this ministry and have even gone as far as to throw myself under the bus, several times.  But today, I have to give you this message.  You may not receive it right away, or maybe you know someone that you can pass this message to.

When I was about ten years old, my mother showed us how to separate and wash clothes.  We didn't have a washing or dryer, so we had to separate the clothes at home, then take them on a journey to the Laundromat.  It seemed like a journey because three little girls walked laundry for five in a cart.  Once my mother taught us how to separate the clothes properly, she then watched as my older sister began to do it by herself.  Once the laundry was separated, my mother would placed them in the bags according to whites, colors and dark clothing.  Once we arrived to the Laundromat my sister had to be very careful, to make sure she knew when the whites ended and the colors started, and the same with dark colors.  Are you following me?

Think about this.  If you wash a white blouse with a red sock, the white blouse will turn pink.  The red sock will have no damage to it because it is the darker color (the more dominant one).  There is no way around it, that your blouse will no longer be the same color as it was when you purchased it at the store.  Now you can quickly fix that pink blouse if you separate the blouse from all the other clothes and pour bleach over the blouse.  The blouse will turn back to it's original color.  Are you still with me?

If you are unevenly yoked with someone, either by marriage, friendship or relationships you are going to eventually get tainted.  The more company that you keep with that person, place or thing you will slowly fade away.  In my opinion, if you are a believer and you are connected with an unclean thing, whether person, place or thing you will fade to the color that you are connected with.  Being unevenly yoked means that you are not seeking to do what is right all the time.  Now I realize that we all fall short, but if you know that you are slowly fading and drifting away from the Lord, Jesus Christ because of that thing that you are yoked with, it's time for you to make a crucial decision.  There are so many ways and things in this world that can cause us to lose our color.  Drugs, relationships, employment, the love of money, etc.  The devil knows what will make you fade away from Christ and the devil is not afraid to mix in with you to turn your white into red. If you allow Satan to be the dominant one in your life, you are fading away from the Lord, Jesus Christ.  If you are allowing drugs, drinking, partying, sex, men be the dominant color in your life, you are fading away from salvation.  You still have an opportunity to allow God to pour the bleach, wash you and separate you from the thing that is causing you to fade away or shrink in the eyes of the Lord.

Are you going to be content with turning pink, because you don't what to give up that person, place or thing?  Are you willing to shrink in the eyes of the Lord?  Are you willing to take a chance that you might be able to keep your white color?  Being a Christian means that the moment you decided to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to you, He quickly poured bleach over you and washed you until you were white again (your sins were forgiven).  The bible says, "thou your sins were like crimson red, because of what Jesus Christ did for you, your sins are white as snow.  PRAISE GOD!  I love you with the love of the Lord.  GOD BLESS YOU.

SWALLOW IT

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  Today I felt the need to send to you an excerpt from my new book.  It has really been a blessing to me and has helped me in my home.  The miracle of this message is that the Holy Spirit gave me the message after prayer.  I typed exactly what the Spirit of the Lord gave to me.  I pray that it will be an on time message for some, if not all of you.

(Proverbs 16:18-19), Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.  It is better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.

Mighty woman of God, sometimes you just have to swallow it.  Swallow it, what do you mean?  Glad you asked, PRIDE!

I have had a hard time with this one myself.  Sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and just be quiet or say I'm sorry to keep the peace in your home and life.  At times you are going to have to have a big throat, so get a tall glass of water and swallow your pride.

I used to be the type of person that despised saying the words, "I'm sorry".  I tried very hard to avoid doing anything that would cause me to say those two little words.  That didn’t go over so well.  Don't feel bad, I am still working on that pride thing too.

The reason why the scripture says that pride goes before destruction is because, if you are prideful, then you will ultimately be destructive.  It is very hard for women to swallow our pride because: (1) we may be right (2) we have to have the last word (3) just like confusion.  It's definitely in one of those categories.

If you have a problem with the spirit of pride, you should pray that the Lord will release in you a spirit of humility.  God cannot use a woman with a prideful spirit, but He can and will use a woman that walks in a spirit of humility.

A woman that is prideful is also vain; neither of the two is of God. You might find that the more humble in spirit you are the more blessed you will be.  You might mess up but you have to keep trying to get rid of that prideful spirit, it is of the enemy.  Pride has been the cause of a lot of wars in this world, so it will definitely cause a war in your home.  Jesus says, to follow Him, we must pick up our cross and walk.  That means you must die to your old nature and put Jesus Christ first.  When dealing with pride, you must learn to put other people before yourself.  Once you begin to put others first, you will also develop compassion for others.

I know that there will be occasions when you are too angry to apologize, get your tall glass of water and start swallowing.  God’s desire is for you to be perfected so that you can be effective.  Once you start swallowing all that pride your throat may become as big as a basketball.  Swallowing all that pride will soften your heart and you will have gained a friend, JESUS CHRIST!  I think that is a small price to pay, don't you?  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!
