FINAL DESTINATION

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord on today.  May God bless you with all of your needs and wants on today.
(2 Corinthians 4:18), "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
When life gets tough, when you're overwhelmed with doubt, or when you wonder if living for Christ is worth the effort, remember that you are not home yet.  At death you won't leave home, you will go home.  For those of you that are Christians or living your life to be Christ-like, remember that we are strangers in this land.  This earth is not our home, we are visitors, foreigners.  When you leave this earth it is not the end of your life, it is just the beginning.  The bible says, that in heaven there are many mansions and Christ has prepared a place for you.

Now, here is reality.  Some people live each day like it is the last day on earth.  You have decided to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but you don't spend any time to commune with Him.  It was just words to say at the time, or because everyone else in your row at church gave their life to the Lord you didn't want to be sitting by yourself.  When you decided to accept Christ as your Savior you also made a covenant with Him.  You are supposed to be at least attempting to live a life of holiness.  I do realize that temptation is always lurking at your door, but you have to pray and spend time with the Lord to make those tempting moments a little more bearable to overcome.  If you spend more time with the Lord, you will be lifted up above temptation and might not even notice.

Righteousness is not a hard thing to obtain.  The bibles says, "No one is righteous".  But you can be counted righteous before God.  Abraham was counted righteous in God's eye, because of his obedience and faith in the Lord God.  Job was counted righteous before God, because no matter what Satan took away from Job, Job did not curse God.  It's time for us Christians to stand up for what we believe to be right according to the Word of God.  We compromise too many times when we know something is wrong, we say nothing.  You cannot act anyway you please, because you were bought with a price and the price of the blood of Jesus Christ was not cheap.  Therefore, you are supposed to be here on earth working for Christ, for your crown which is in heaven.  There is nothing here on earth that is worth more that what God has in stored for you in Heaven with Him.

Before you reach your "final destination", which is in heaven, you are should try to live a life of Christianity.  You are a stranger in this land and you should not be conforming to the way of the world.  Everyone smokes weed, so you compromise.  Everybody has pre-marital sex, so you compromise.  You think that you can put God in the closet while you are sinning, you are sadly mistaken.  The bible says, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?" Then I will tell them plainly, "I never knew you.  Away from me, you evildoers!"

I think a lot about the above scripture, those are words that I will never want to hear from the Lord.  I am not judging you, just trying to help.  I am not boasting about myself, just trying to do whatever I can; so that I do not hear Jesus say those words to me when I have reached my 'final destination'.  And when I reach my 'final destination', my prayer is that I will see you there in your mansion.  MAY GOD BLESS YOU!
