EMPTY YOUR PURSE

Happy Thursday, Mighty Woman of God!  My prayer for you is that you will walk upright before the Lord God and that you are blessed and highly favored as you follow after Him, seek after Him with all of your heart.

(Matthew 29-30), Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto you souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Using the Vine's Complete Expository Dictionary, the word meek is defines as; it is that temper of spirit in which we accept His dealings with us as good, and therefore without deluding or resisting; it is closely linked with the word humility.

New Year's Resolution is a covenant that people usually make either with themselves or with someone else.  You promise to stop or start certain activities in your life.  You are basically stating that you are going to change your life for the better.  The most popular New Year's Resolution is that people say that the will lose weight.  Well, I think that one is perfect.  But instead of losing physical weight, let's lose some of the weight that we as women tend to carry, such as guilt and unforgiveness.  If you focus on letting go of some of the guilt and unforgiveness that you are carrying, I promise you will lose a lot of dead weight off your heart.

Mighty woman of God, it's time for you to finally empty your purse.  You have carried that guilt and unforgiveness long enough.  Just like hamsters and squirrels, you are just packing it all in until you are so full that you cannot put anything good in your purse.  Maybe your purse is so full of the bad things that you haven't forgiving yourself from that you have no room to accept God's forgiveness, His blessing, His mercy or grace into your purse.

There are two powerful parables in the bible that will help you to truly understand just how merciful and gracious God is towards you (His child).  The prodigal son is one of the parables that I like.  This man's son decided to leave his father's house to go out and do his own thing.  Against the father's will, the son thought that he could to better in the world instead of following after God.  Everyday this father waited for his son to come home, he didn't forget about the son that stayed because he was at home.  After several years the man's son finally shows up back home.  The father runs to greet him, he draped his son with new fine clothing and had a big feast for him.

Of course, the son felt guilty and ashamed that he didn't listen to his father and stay home.  Of course the son wanted his father's love and forgiveness.  He didn't know whether or not his father would even accept him back home after defying his father's wishes but he took a chance.

Jesus tells this parable in hopes to give you hope.  Letting you know that your Heavenly Father loves you more than the father loved his son.  Jesus wants you to know that you no longer have to carrying around feelings of guilt and shame about the things you did that were not pleasing to God.  If you have made the decision to repent and return home to the Lord, he is willing to accept you into His loving arms.  God will drape you will new linen (which is the Holy Spirit), feed you a big feast (which is the Word of God) and never bring up your sins against Him again.

You are the only one still holding on to your past.  You are the only one that is keeping guilt and shame in your purse.  God is not holding your past against you.  Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has nailed your sin to the cross with Him.  He has done this because of His love for you.  Whatever you may have done in your past, that did not glorify God, He has forgiven and forgotten. It is you that it holding your past against you.  Stuffing all your guilt and shame in your purse is keeping you from drawing closer to God.  You don't believe that you have truly been forgiven.  That is the biggest trick of Satan.  Satan wants you to do exactly what you are doing, feeling guilty and unloving by God.

It's not too late to make a New Year's Resolution to yourself and accept God's forgiveness and unconditional love for you.  PRAISE THE LORD!

It's not too late to sign up for the upcoming Women's Conference to be held on May 25th from 2P-5P.  This event is FREE!  Come out for fellowship, food and an awesome word and move of the Lord.  Sign in on my events calendar or email at deirdrehunt 506@yahoo.com.  Thank you and I'll see you soon!

SO YOU WANT A GODLY MAN!

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak peace and joy upon your life.  May you prosper abundantly as you seek after our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Proverbs: 31:10-12 and 25-30), A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. (25-30), She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

If you have been praying for God to send you a Godly man, that's great.  That's a start to a happy marriage.  What woman wouldn't desire to have a Godly man?  But what if that Godly man is praying for a Godly woman, are you ready for him?  Well, let's see if you make the cut. As you read the above scripture, can you honest say that you are a Proverbs 31 woman?

Woman of God, what makes you think that God will send you a Godly man if you are not a woman of integrity, honor and of noble character?  God loves the man that He made first, before woman.  God wants that man to be happily married too.  He will not send you a Godly man if you are not ready for one. Now, I know that I'm not talking about you, it's probably one of your girlfriends.  But humor me anyway and finish reading.

This new generation of superior women has gone too far.  Equal rights for women has gone too far.  Mothers aren't teaching their daughters how to be a good woman of integrity, wise and a good wife for her husband.  When your children call you blessed because they observe you reading your bible and praying.  Will your husband call you blessed because you work outside the home and still manage to take care of the children and keep the house clean.  Can he trust you to go out with your girlfriends and not have to worry about you flirting with another man?  Can he trust you to take care of the household finances.  Not saying, "my money is my money and your money is my money".  Do you respect your husband?  Are you more concerned about your hair and nails that you won't even clean the dishes or make up your bed every morning?  Does your husband come home from work only to find that he doesn't have a hot meal?  Have you spent your day watching television and on the computer?

I personally don't see anything wrong with fixing your husband's dinner plate.  That's just me.  If you think that you are too good to keep the house clean, make sure that your husband and children's have clean clothes to wear and cook a decent meal for your family is messing with your equal rights amendment, they maybe you should just pray for a man, not a Godly man.

A lot of times women listen to their single girlfriends advice about their marriage.  "Girl, if I were you, I wouldn't do this or that.  You should be able to stay out as long as you want to.  He ain't your daddy".  You can go ahead and listen to your single girlfriends all you want and you will soon be just as single as they are.  That's exactly what your girlfriend wants.  God is not going to send His prize possession to you so that you can just mess him up.  There are a lot of Godly men in the world.  What has happened is that they have been hurt badly by women and now they are afraid to love again.  Women aren't the only ones that can be in a hurtful relationship.  Some women do end up with a Godly man, a man that is quiet and loving, but they end up breaking him down by name calling and giving no respect to Him.  All they do is complain and yell.  You realize that you did have a good man once he's gone and you end up with the devil's best friend.  The scripture says, "that a woman's beauty will fade, God desires a woman that knows how to praise Him.  There is an old saying, "she knows how to get a prayer through".  Is that you?  PRAISE GOD, AMEN!

MARRIAGE AND THE 4 C's

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak peace and joy upon your life today.  May you be richly blessed as you follow after Christ Jesus.  This message is to help you, not hurt you.

(Ephesians 5:28-29 and 5:33), In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies.  He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

What are the 4 C's of marriage?  Communication, Compassion, Consideration, and Compliment

COMMUNICATION, this is one of the main reasons why couples get divorced.  If the devil can block the communication between a husband and wife, he will gain a foothold in your household.  Some couples have a hard time communicated with each other.  Either the communication ends up in an argument or couples don't communicate at all.  If you keep God's guidelines, then your arguments will turn into better communication.  Now, here's my story: My husband and I had a very hard time communicated our feelings to each other.  If we were in disagreement with each other the communication always ended up in a big verbal fight.  We finally found a church home here is Georgia in January and I have noticed that we are working on communicating to one another without a verbal fight.

COMPASSION, having compassion towards one other will keep your marriage centered around the Lord.  Compassion means to love your husband unconditionally.  Jesus had compassion towards all of us, which is the reason why He died on the cross for us.  Having compassion towards one another will cause you to take your husbands feelings in CONSIDERATION.  Even though you may feel justified and right, you always must have CONSIDERATION for your husband because he has feeling just as you do.  You have to considered the fact that you are both imperfect people, therefore there will be times that you will disagree.

COMPLIMENT, I feel that it is necessary to compliment each other.  Either on the way he looks or even things that your husband does for you.  You might think that he should do so and so, but he doesn't have to.  If couples spend time complimenting each other during the day, then you will find it easy to make love to one another later.  I have always said that, a man can make love to his wife all during the day.  That is as simple as him calling you just to say hello.  Buying flowers just because. Asking how your day is going so far.  I bet if you and your husband compliment each other all during the day, loving each other will be easy.  One of the things that men don't understand, is that women desire compliments.  If a woman has an affair, it is not for sex, it is for adoration and respect.  Not to say that you should have an affair, but that is a true statement.  I didn't like the fact that my husband had a fat stomach.  One day in bible study the minister said, "the thing that you don't like about your husband, another woman will love". You complain, complain, complain, and your husband will find a woman that loves whatever you complain about all the time.

The bible says that God honors marriage. The bible does not say that God honors booty calls or a man and woman shacking up together.  In my opinion, (I always say that because that's all it is an opinion) if you and your boyfriend have been living together for a long time, why not get married.  If you don't think that the marriage will work, then why hang around.  I also believe that if both parties in a relationship are believers of Christ Jesus, is a start to a happy marriage. The bibles also says, "husband love your wife as Christ loves the church".  The church is not a building, it is the Body of Christ, the saints of God.  If your husband is not saved then he can't possibly understand that he should love you as much as Christ loves him.  PRAISE GOD!

SURPRISED

Good morning, Mighty women of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon you.  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored by our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Jeremiah 29:11-13), For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

That is one of my favorite scriptures.  One of the things that I love about God is that you can't surprise Him.  Can you imagine what your life would be like if God didn't know all about you?  Your past, present and future.  What if you do something bad or wrong, God is sitting up in the heavens and say, "I didn't know she would do that".  So then God would have fix your problem in a hurry.  He would have to alter His plans for you.  I am so glad that we serve and awesome God.  He is omnipresent.  If God didn't have plans for me then He would definitely be surprised by the things that I did in my younger years and even today.  How could God have plans to give you hope and a good future if He was not omnipresent?

The other things about the God that we serve, is that He is real.  We don't have to stare at a fat statue and kneel before it, and hope that our situations or circumstances would change for the better.  We would definitely be waiting a long time for Buddha to show up.  There is know such thing as the spirit of Buddha.  There is a such thing as the Spirit of our Lord and Savior (the Holy Spirit).  Praying to Buddha will not give you the gift of speaking in tongues to fight the devil. Through the Holy Spirit, we receive gifts to help us fight the devil.  I don't know who Muhammad is either.  I know that a lot of Muslims have changed their last name to Muhammad, so who do you pray to?  A person or a temple. I do know that Muhammad cannot guarantee us hope or a prosperous future.  I do know that Neither Muhammad or Buddha are omnipresent.  Neither one can guide our footsteps or promise us that we can live in Paradise with the Lord.

God is not surprised by anything that we do or anything that we are going to do.  Therefore He is always aware of our future and our thoughts.  As long as we pray daily, seeking Him, the scripture says that He will listen to us.  When we seek Him with all of our heart, He is the God that is able to turn our situation around for the better.  God is the only one that can promise us a blessed present and future.  You will never pray to God and say, "surprise, I have cancer, can you heal my body."  God already knows therefore He has been working in your life since the day that you were born.  He is ready for anything that happens to us.  There are no surprises when it comes to God.  We don't surprise God, He surprises us.  I know that if God were surprised by anything that I have done in my life, bad or good, He would be so busy fixing my errors, that He wouldn't have time for anyone else.  Aren't you glad we serve a God that is not surprised by our actions, He has already made provisions for them.  PRAISE GOD!

There is still time to sign up for the Women's Conference on May 25th in Calumet City.  You can email me at deirdrehunt506@yahoo.com or sign in on events calendar.  The event is FREE and I am expecting God to do a new things in all of us.  Come on out for fellowship, food and spiritual growth.  God bless you.

QUESTIONING GOD, ASK AWAY

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God,  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord.  The message that the Lord is giving us today, will definitely be a blessing to you.

(Exodus 3:11-14), But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"  And God said, "I will be with you.  And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you:  When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain"  Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, "The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they ask me, "What is his name?"  Then what shall I tell them?"  God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites.  I am has sent me to you".

This is a timely message for you.  I pray that you will gain knowledge and understanding as you read today's devotion.  I keep hearing people say that you are not suppose to question God.  So they don't ask God any questions.  The problem with that is (1) if you don't ask God any questions, how will you know what direction or His plan is for your life. (2) if you don't ask God any questions, how will you know what to do when you are going through difficult times in your life. (3) if you don't ask God questions, how to you consider to have a relationship with Him.  Those are very important questions.

You have to know and understand exactly what the bible is saying about questioning God.  If you have a relationship with God, you can ask Him questions.  I have found that many people that say, "You are not suppose to question God, don't have a personal relationship with Him.  There is a difference between having a personal relationship with God and just having a relationship with Him.  Having a personal relationship with God is the same as having a personal relationship with your spouse.  You know most everything about your spouse.  Their likes and dislikes, color of their hair, favorite foods, music, television programs, etc.  Because you love and care about your spouse you make it your business to learn everything about them so that you are able to please them.  As far as a relationship goes, you probably have a relationship with your neighbor.  You talk to them from time to time.  And they may tell you some things that may be going on in their lives, but you will never know what goes on behind their closed doors.  Do you see the difference?  You cannot ask your neighbor about personal things, but you can ask your spouse about personal things.  That's because you have a personal relationship with your spouse.  The problem that most people have is that they will tell me that they don't know if they are hearing from God.  This leaves them not to ask God questions.  The bible says, "My sheep know my voice".  Meaning if you talk to God often or have a personal relationship with Him, you will know His voice.  You will know when He is giving you the answers to your questions.

Moses had a relationship with God.  As you can see from the above scripture, Moses asked God three questions after God gave him directions as far as how to deal with the Pharaoh. Moses needed assurance that God would be with him.  So he asked God, who am I to go to Egypt.  God answered Moses, then Moses ask another question, what if....., God answers Moses.  Then Moses had one more question, "Who name shall I tell him", God answers Moses again.  You see, because Moses had a personal relationship with God, God allowed him to ask questions.  Not only that, God was sending Moses on an assignment for him. If God gives you an assignment and you don't know exactly how to go about executing that which He has told you to do, you have to ask Him.  If you never ask God anything, how will you know if you are travelling in the right direction.  So you see, Moses is not questioning God's motives, he is simply asking God questions.

When you pray to the Lord, are you simply asking for Him to bless you and everything.  Prayer is suppose to be personal not just you shouting out your list of things that you want God to do for you.  If you spend five minutes in prayer, then you can expect five minute blessings.  God's desire is to have a personal relationship with His people.  He is not Santa Claus.  You might spend five minutes shouting out your prayer request to God then you say "In Jesus name, Amen".  You leave the room and all the while, God is looking at you saying "I have answers for you, where are you going".  Just something for you to think about.

If you don't have a personal relationship with God, you can start today.  Spend more time talking to Him.  You can talk to Him in your car on your way to work.  During your lunch hour, while you are cooking and even during your evening bath.  If you start spending more time speaking to God, your relationship will change from just having a relationship to having a personal relationship.  Then you will be able to hear His voice.  You cannot hear God's voice if you are trying to get through prayer.  PRAISE GOD!

Don't forget to sign up for the Women's Conference", on May 25, 2P-4P, FREE of charge.  We are going to have a great time in the Lord through fellowship, food and God's word to you.  Don't let the enemy keep you from attending this anointed conference.  You can sign up through my events calendar on Facebook or email at deirdrehunt506@yahoo.com. God bless you, hope to see you there.

ROLL OF THE DICE

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  My prayer is that you will find comfort, encouragement and restoration as you read the Lord's message on today. God bless you, woman of God.

(Jeremiah 1:5), Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nation.

Everyday that I open my eyes on my own, I thank God.  When I can put my feet on the floor, by myself, I give God glory.  I don't have an oxygen tank nor do I have a nurse to help me to the table for breakfast.  If I had to have help doing these things, I would stay thank God in the heavens above.

When I was about in my twenties, I had a boyfriend that would shoot dice to win extra money.  I never understood the game or what the numbers meant on the dice.  I would see a group of men gathered in a circle, starring at the ground, waiting to see what the dice would read.  Apparently, if the dice didn't roll on a specific number, you lose.  Then you would throw another dollar on the ground to place your bet again.  Some men were very good at it, although I don't know how, since it is a gamble, how do you know whether or not you are wasting your dollar.

God doesn't gamble.  You were not formed by God rolling the dice.  He did not roll the dice to determine whether or not you would be a girl or boy.  God did not roll the dice to determine when you would be formed in your mothers womb.  He did not roll the dice to see if you were going to be aborted or not.  He did not roll the dice to determine what color your hair would be, how many fingers or toes you would have, what your complexion would be or whether or not you would be born out of wedlock.

Woman of God, you were not a mistake.  You were not the prodigy of a bastard child.  You were conceived unknowingly.  You were not born to keep your parents together or split them apart.  You were made in the image and likeness of God.  Before you were, God was.  Before your parents were, God was.  You were no accident.

The word of God says, before you were even conceived by your mother and father, God knew you.  After all is said and done, God knows what type of a woman you will become.  He knows the paths you are going to take.  Even today, you don't know what tomorrow has in store for you, God knows. He did not roll the dice to determine your destiny.  God does not gamble with your life.  He is not sitting in the heavens above consulting with the angels about what type of a day you are going to have today.  God consults with no one.  Aren't you glad you don't serve a God that cannot be a beacon of light to you?  You don't pray to a statue or a wall picture.  You don't have to go to a priest to confess your sins and be told how many "hale Mary's" to pray.  You serve a God that not only knows all about you, but He is compassionate, longsuffering, merciful and forever gracious towards you and me.  God doesn't gamble with our lives like we sometimes do.  We gamble with our lives when we wake in the morning and don't even acknowledge the fact the it was God who watched over us while we peacefully slept.  For God never sleeps nor slumber as we do.  We roll the dice, with our lives every time we assume that God knows our heart so therefore we don't pray and give Him glory.

Woman of God, if for some reason you got a little busy this morning and forget all about God's goodness and mercy towards you, take a praise break.  If you woke up this morning in your right state of mind and didn't thank your Heavenly Father, give Him glory.  If you give God praise every day before you start your day, you will find out that He has already gone ahead of you, making your footsteps light and moving obstacles out of your way.  You don't have to roll the dice to find our what God has in store for you, all you have to do is ask Him.  Ask God to guide your footsteps.  He does not have to roll the dice to plan your day.  And last but not least, God does not read your horoscope.  PRAISE GOD!

For those of you ladies that have signed up for the "Women's Conference" on May 25th, thank you so much.  Time is going by fast and I want to make sure that this is a blessed event and that everything is decent and in order according to the Lord.  I want to make sure I have enough space and all of you ladies are comfortable.  God is not rolling the dice and sending me over 400 miles away from home and He not show up.  Plan on a blessed time in the Lord, I am just a vessel that He is using to bless you.  Don't let the enemy keep you from attending this one day event.  God bless you.  See you soon.

DOES GOD HATE LESBIANS?

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord and that you allow the Spirit of the Lord guide you through your day.

(Leviticus 18:22), Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.

Does God hate lesbians?  This is a question that is always controversial in today's society and with the Body of Christ.  The answer is NO, God does not hat lesbians.  God despises the sexual act, but not the person.  If it were so, then we should also say that God hates His people, all of us.  I don't know what causes a woman to desire another woman.  I don't know if it is a matter of a certain genetic flaw.  I am simply stating that I know for a fact that God loves the sinner, not the sin.

I had the opportunity to spend time with a young lady that was a lesbian.  One day she came to me full of tears and when I asked her what was wrong, she stated that she felt that God did not love her because she was a lesbian.  Then she asked me to pray for her.  I told her that we would pray together.  After we spent quite some time praying together, God gave her the gift of speaking in tongues   She began to cry uncontrollably and paced around the room, while continuing to speak in her heavenly language.  God was definitely doing a new thing in her.  One thing that I do know is that speaking in tongues is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit can give spiritual gifts to whomever He chooses.

I know what the bible says about this particular sin and I don't condom it, and I will stand firm on what I believe.  That day, God revealed something to the both of us.  I did not expect God to bless someone with those characteristics but He did.  He proved Himself to both of us as a loving and merciful God.  I have to admit that in the back of my mind I was surprised that God would make such a deposit in that young lady's life.  I thought that her sin was too bad, even for God.  That day God showed me that He is no respecter of persons and I had no right to judge her.  I didn't think that I was judging her, but God knew what I was thinking in the back of my mind.  I asked God to forgive me and have mercy on me.  I thanked God for loving a whoremonger (which I once was), and thanked Him for having mercy on me and for His unfailing compassion towards a sinner like me.

If you hate someone because of their sexual choices, pray that God forgives you for a spirit of judgement and thinking that you're all that just because you are not dealing with that particular sin.  Don't hate the person, hate the sin, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but the principalities of this world, which is Satan.  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

ROCKY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored on today.  May the peace of God keep you in everything that you encounter.

Have you ever seen any of the Rocky movies?  I think the first Rocky was the best one.  He fights Apollo Creed.  Since most of you are younger than I am, let me give you a great story.

Rocky was a nobody that would fight in the gym's against other fighters that were preparing for a championship fight.  In other words, he was a punching bag.  You ever feel like that sometimes?  Feel like you just get beat down every time you try to make a change in your life for the better.  Anyway, Apollo Creed was the world champion and he decided to give the title shot to an unknown, a long shot.  Have you ever felt like a long shot?  Stick with me here, I'm going somewhere with this.  If you have never seen Rocky, you will have to put on your spiritual cap and imagine what God is saying to you today.

Imagine that you are Rocky and the enemy is Apollo Creed.  You are the long shot, never been in a title fight before and you have only been sparring.  Now, in order for you to be victorious over Satan you have to train hard for this fight.  You have to get up early in the morning with prayer and praise give to God.  You have to walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit as you leave the house in the morning.  You can't just do this one time in order to win, you have to have a made up mind to be disciplined to follow that prayer and praise everyday.  Remember, your enemy will come to kill and destroy you and your family.  He's not holding back any punches, he wants to see you down for the count.

Once Rocky and Apollo Creed started fighting.  The champ thought it was going to be an easy fight.  He thought that since he had been winning all his previous fights, this one was in the bag.  He under estimated Rocky.  I remember every time Apollo Creed knock Rocky down in the ring, he would walk away thinking that Rocky would not get back up, but he did.  As the fight went on, Apollo Creed became weary and tired, but every time he looked at Rocky he thought to himself, dag, this man won't stay down, what's driving him?

Now, your turn.  Satan thinks that you are an easy opponent.  He doesn't know that God calls you His friend.  He doesn't know that what he meant for good, God has turned it around for your favor.  He has messed with your finances and your lights are out, but you got candles and you are not in the dark.  He has messed with your car, but you go to work anyway, smiling at the bus driver.  He has messed with your relationship, but you keep reading your bible anyway.  He has cause unexpected death in your family, but you praise God anyway.  You have lost your job, but you now collect unemployment and take time to spend with your children.  You just keep getting up.  Every time the enemy knocks you down, get back up again.  He goes to his corner and hopes you don't get back up again, but you do.  Each time that you get back up, you are stronger then you were when you went down.

You have to expect to be in spiritual warfare everyday.  You have to train hard for this fight.  You have to read your word, pray, praise and worship God everyday, in order to defeat the enemy.  As long as you keep training, you will be victorious over Satan.  Keep getting back up.  GOD BLESS YOU!

FROM WOUNDS 2 WISDOM 2 WARRIOR

Mighty woman of God, the Women's Conference is May 25th, 2013.  To be held at the Baymont Hotel in Calumet City, Illinois, from 2:00p.m. til 5:00 p.m..  The Lord has given me the theme of the Conference: "From Wounds 2 Wisdom 2 Warrior".

This conference is FREE!  How many of you know that God would not send me to travel from Georgia to Illinois if He did not have a blessing for you.  The Lord has told me to go and therefore I am coming in His name.

The Lord wants you to know that you are more than conquerors through Him.  The enemy has been robbing you from freedom and getting and keeping your deliverance.  It's time for you to stand up and claim your inheritance in Christ Jesus and put the enemy on notice.  God has promised us a spirit-filled anointed move of the Holy Spirit.  God has promised us a day of deliverance, restoration, gifts of the Holy Spirit so that you can walk in your purpose and plans that the Lord has for you.  I promise you will walk away with something and it will be a blessing to you.  Don't miss this miraculous move of God!

BIBLE STORIES

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I love the way the Holy Spirit give me these messages.  I can be thinking of something and he will use it for spiritual edification.  You see, everyone says the bible never gets old.  And at the same time when you read it, you may wonder how a scripture can be used to help you in your present circumstances.  The gift that I have be anointed with by the Holy Spirit is to be able to listen and give you a rhema (fresh) word for today.

Even though there is a huge difference of years between today's Christianity living and the people in the bible, you need to know that we are not suffering anything new, it's only being brought to us differently by the devil.  So although you may not be able to literally walk on water with Jesus, you can feel like you are walking on water (by passing all the sharks and piranhas) in your life as long as you follow after Jesus Christ when He bids you to come.

Peter walked towards Jesus Christ by faith and when Peter took his eyes off Jesus, he began to sink.  The moment you take your eyes off Christ you will sink.  Doubt is one of the things that will cause you to sink.  Although you are not like the three Hebrew boy in the fiery furnace, you are thrown into the fire every the devil throws danger your way.  If you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you at every turn of your life, you will come out of the furnace without a smell of smoke on you.

Even though you may not hold up a staff and part the Red Sea as Moses did, Jesus Christ has a way of moving everything that easily besets you to the side, allowing you to walk on dry land.  Even though you were not thrown in a well by your brothers, Jesus Christ will still make your enemies your footstool.  You were not in the manger at the birth of Jesus Christ to witness the kings bringing the baby gifts, You have the greatest gift of all through the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and that's everlasting life, eternity in Paradise with Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace, the Anointing One, Emmanuel, the Lion of Judah, JESUS CHRIST SON OF THE LIVING GOD!  AMEN!

Take a moment and give the Lord some praise!

Don't forget to sign up for the Women's Conference, FREE!  Held on May 25th, 2p-4p, The cut off date will be at the end of April.  I am so excited at what the Lord is doing, and going to do for us women at the event.  Bring a friend! GOD BLESS YOU!

THE RIGHT INGREDIENTS

(1 Corinthians 3:13-15), His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light.  It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work.  If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward.  If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.

When I was 19 years old, I had a friend that knew how to make pizza from scratch.  She would buy all the ingredients she needed, including the toppings.  Everything was fresh, nothing out of the can. We would get together on the weekends and she always had that pizza.  Well, pizza is one of my favorite foods so I never complained about eating too much.  On day I asked her for her recipe.  She wrote down all the ingredients and step by step instructions to follow.  My first attempt to make that pizza was a disaster.  My second attempt was worst.  I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, what step I was missing.  Finally, she actually came to my house so that we could make the pizza together, then I got it right.  It turns out that I was not letting the yeast sit long enough to rise and I was letting the oven pre-heat, which was burning the crust way ahead of time.

Mighty woman of God, if you keep putting the same ingredients in your oven (you spirit), and things don't work out right, you have to change the way you are making it.  You keep doing the same thing wrong you will get the same results (a disaster).

Now, let's look at this from a spiritual point of view.  You are wondering why you seem to be going around in circles, going through the same bitterness, turmoil and challenges over and over again.  You are not changing the ingredients but you want different results.  You are asking God for the same things over and over again.  His desire is to do whatever you need or want but you are not willing to change.  Not only that, but you need to look at your instructions again (read your bible).  If you keep doing what you're doing, you'll keep getting what you're getting.

You need to invite the Holy  Spirit to your kitchen (your spirit) and show you what ingredients to keep and what to throw out.  In other words, what are the things you need to let go of to receive God's best for you.  What ingredients do you need more of?  What friends to let go and which friends to keep.  Maybe you need more water (blood of Jesus, Word of God).  Maybe you need more oil (anointing).  Maybe you need more heat (the Holy Spirit), maybe you need more yeast (prayer), maybe you need less eggs (unevenly yoked, worldly things).

If you are missing some of the ingredients then every time you are tested by fiery darts of the devil you will not rise up.  Until you have the right ingredients in your oven (your spirit, body, heart), your yeast (spirit) will not rise.

Don't forget to sign up for the Women's Conference, which is May 25th, 2P-4P, in the Chicagoland area.  This event is FREE!  We are going to have a blessed time in the Lord.

A NEW ENGINE

(1 Peter 3:3-5),  Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes.  Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful.

I can remember my first car.  I was so excited to have it that I drove all the way home singing a song to my car.  Mainly because I had no radio, but I was intended to use my pocket radio as soon as I got some AA batteries. LOL.  As soon as I got home, I ran upstairs to tell my parents to look out the window and see my new car, I was so proud.  They looked out the window and the look of wonder covered their faces because they didn't see a new car.  What they actually saw was a little 4-door, Nova, Chevrolet, covered in rust but what they didn't know was that it had a new engine.  I was still just smiling, admiring my new car.  My son was 4 at the time and I said, "Hey, mommy got a new car, we don't have to take the bus anymore."  I hurried and took him downstairs on the elevator and as we began to walk up to the car, he stopped and said, "ewwh, this ain't no new car!"  I looked at him and said, "It's a new car, to me".

My point to this story is that sometimes not everyone sees things the way you do.  Sometimes no everyone will accept the new you.  They are looking at you from the outside and have no idea what you are actually working with on the inside.  You were the friend that they used to get high with, party with and gossip with, but the more you seek out Christ, the more He changes you from the inside.  So they are looking at you with their naked eyes but God is looking at you with His spiritual eyes.  God does not see your outside, nor does He care about your outside, God is concerned about your heart, whatcha working with on the inside.  You see, God doesn't care what you are wearing, how good your nails look or how much you paid for your jewelry.  God is so beautiful that you can never outlook Him.  You can spend thousands of dollars on your outward appearance and still you won't impress God.   You may be able to impress your friends, but to God, you are wearing cheap clothes and jewelry.

Woman of God, I know that some of you have friends and family members that dress to impress all the time.  They have to have a weekly appointment at the salon for their hair and nails and their jewelry is always sparkling in church.  They are clean on the outside but their inner most parts are dirty.  They are unloving, talk about you behind your back, tell all your secrets and are no where to be found when you really need a friend.  That is the total opposite of God.  His innermost parts are beauty, loving, kind, compassionate and friendly.  He will never tell your secrets, talk about you behind your back and will always be there, wherever you are when you need Him.

So what, you can't always afford to get your hair done. So what, you don't get your nails done and so what, you don't have the latest trendy clothes.  Just like my car, it had a new engine and it ran better than most new cars.  Once you start living your life according to biblical principals and glorify God with all your heart, it's like getting a new engine.  The outside may not look rich, but the inside is very rich and you won't every go bankrupt.  When tough financial times hit, your new engine will sustain all the challenges of life.  You seem to look the same on the outside but just like a car, you can't see the new engine until you actually life up the hood and look inside.  DO YOU HAVE A NEW ENGINE?  If not, you are going to run out of oil and your car will break down in the middle of the expressway.  The last place you will want to break down at is in the middle of heavy traffic.  If you are only concerned with how you look on the outside, your friend with rusty car will pass you up in the fast lane.  When things get really bad and traffic is heavy, your friends will want to ride with you because of your new engine.  PRAISE GOD!

Don't forget, the Women's Conference is just around the corner, sign up and I'll see you soon!  God bless you.
