HANG ON IN THERE

(Isaiah 40:29-31), He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

For some reason, this world has taken a turn from what God's initial plan for humankind was.  The main reason is because of Satan and the hold that he has on the men of this world.  Some (not all) men think that just the woman conceive children.  Once you are pregnant, they somehow forget that they have played a significant part in the pregnancy.  How many men say, "I'm leaving and taking the children with me?"  Nope, they just seem to think that they can just come and go whenever they feel like it.  I only know of one case in which a child was born without a sperm donor and that was the Son of the Most High God, Jesus Christ.

Woman of God, because of the fact that we give birth to children that can be a danger to Satan's kingdom of hell, Satan has his eyes on your children before they are even born.  Spiritual warfare for your children begin in your womb.  Jesus Christ has claim over your unborn child and because a child is born without sin, Satan's job is to attempt to persuade your children to deny the Lord from the time they are born until the time they leave this earth.  Because we are women, we are more emotional than men and believe it or not, it also makes us stronger.  There are too many mothers raising children as single parents.  I will not say that there are single mothers because there are no single mothers, if you are pregnant or have children, it did not happen without a man.  You have to take on the roll of both mother and father which were not God's intentions for woman, but it is what it is.  And because of your unfailing love for your children you do whatever you have to do to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs.  God's unfailing love for you, gives you strength and power to keep pushing forward even when you feel like fainting.

There will be many times that you will feel like you are about to lose your mind when it comes to be a good mother and taking care of yourself in the process.  There may be times where you feel like going in your bedroom, shutting the door and screaming to the top of your lungs, HELP ME JESUS!  I know that I have done that plenty of times, unknowing to my children.  But I made it.  God will give you power to keep pressing forward with your life and because He has plans for you and your children you will not faint.  He will give you strength in the midnight hour when you are struggling to make ends meet.  The bibles says, "Be not weary in doing well, for you shall reap, if you faint not".  Through everything that you can and will possibly go through with your children and spiritual walk with Christ, as long as you hold on to the Lord, He will see you through life's difficult moments.  You shall reap the benefits of what God has for you if you keep your heart fixed on Christ.

One Father's Day, my son called me and said, "Happy Father's Day".  He said he thought about the fact that he was raised without a father figure and didn't miss anything.  It is a shame that women have to be both mother and father, but I thank God that He knew beforehand that Satan would attempt to destroy what God values most (family) and the man as being the head of the household.  I want to challenge every woman reading this blog today, to pray for the father's of your children.  Pray for all the men in the prison's and pray for your son's.  God's plans for our men was not for them to be the tail but the head of the families.  Even if you and your children's father are not on speaking terms, pray for them because as long as Satan has our men, he will have a way of claiming our sons.  AMEN!
