WALK IN YOUR CALLING

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord.  That you begin to walk in His promises for your life.

(1Samuel 16:12-13) So he sent and had (David) brought in.  He was ruddy, with a fine appearance and handsome features.  The the Lord said, "Rise and anoint him; he is the one". So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came upon David in power.

Let me give you a quick background about David and his brothers.  The king had received a message from God that there was a man that the king was supposed to anoint; that man would be the next king.  The king anoints David after searching first through his brothers.  His brothers were jealous because David was the youngest and smallest in stature.  Their thinking was that there was no way their younger brother would be king.

Woman of God, the Lord is waiting for you to walk in your calling.  If you are fearful in doing this because you might mess up; remember the Holy Spirit is the One at work.  God placed the Holy Spirit on the inside of you and you were anointed to do the work God has called you to do.  The Holy Spirit gives you power to become a good witness for Christ sake.  You have to take yourself out of the equation when it comes to witnesses to others.  You are not using your own natural abilities or persuasive power.  That is the Holy Spirit's job.  You were anointed to preach the good news, as a prayer warrior, teacher, prophet, etc.  Without the Holy Spirit there can be no anointing or power and you will lose the battle every time.  Jesus says, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you, that you will receive power.  This power is for you to use when witnessing to others.

If you are not sure whether or not you have the anointing that it takes to be an effective witness for Christ; then you should pray before you witness.  This is something that you should always do before witnessing or praying for someone.   I may have had the opportunity to pray with some of you and before I begin to pray, I ask the Holy Spirit to aid me.  I have spoken or prayed with a number of you over the phone, I have spoken things into your lives, and also spoken prophetically to you.  I cannot do anything without the Holy Spirit.  I depend on Him solely when it comes to the women in this ministry.  You are trusting me, therefore I have to trust God that the anointing stays with me.  I have to have my loins girded up at all times.  You have to do the same thing if you want to be effective in your calling.  Walk in your calling, woman of God and your life will never be the same.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise you that you did not leave us comfortless.  Lord, I thank you for the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon my life.  Heavenly Father, if I am lacking anything that will keep me from being an effective witness for you; I pray that it will be given unto me.  Lord, I want to produce good fruit so that others will observe me and glorify you.  I thank you Holy Spirit for aiding me every time I pray, in Jesus name, Amen.
