YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life.  I pray that you received all the blessings that God has in store for you as you follow after Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

(Romans 12:1-3), I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

As I was washing the dishes this morning, I had a skillet in my hand and I began to wash the inside of it.  I put a lot of soap in the skillet to make sure that all the grease was gone.  Then I turned the skillet over and just ran the rag over the bottom of the skillet and lightly wash the handle of the skillet.  That's when I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me, "that's the way my people are".  What was the Lord saying to me?  Then I heard, "my people don't wash the bottom or handles of pots".  I still don't get what the Lord was saying to me.  "my people only wash what others may see, but they don't wash what others cannot see".  Would you like to handle something that is not clean?  I cannot handle my people that are not clean."

Can you handle the truth?  Can God handle you?  Have you been washed clean or are you still perpetrating  and trying to fool people into thinking that you are so holy?  That you have your life all together.  Are you busy looking at other peoples dirty handles that you can't see your own?  Are you only clean on the top and still hiding the part of you that others don't see? When the truth of the matter is that you are dealing with far more demonic spirits than the persons sin that you can see on the outside.  When we are truthful with ourselves, coming clean that we don't have it all together and pray that God will deliver us from the sin that we are trying to hide.

Once you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have an obligation to God and yourself to present your living bodies holy, and acceptable to God.  Now, understand that God knows that we are all sinners, that is the reason why God sent His Son to die on the cross for you and for me.  The Lord knows that we will never be perfect, but He does expect us to at the least strive towards holiness.  We have to renew our minds, so that we are not easy manipulated by Satan, causing us to be transformed by worldly things.  Being a Christian comes with a cost.  First, Christ paid for our sins, by dying on the cross and shedding His blood.  That was the cost that He paid for us.  The cost that we must pay is to not be conformed into worldly things.

The best way to keep our minds renewed is to stay in constant communication with the Lord and studying His word.  Before you start reading the bible, pray that the Holy Spirit will give you fresh revelation, wisdom and knowledge of the Word of God.  You might read your bible all the time and know the scriptures by heart, but it is always a good idea to pray that prayer because the Holy Spirit will give you exactly what you need from God that day.  You can read a scripture today to give you encouragement and next year that same scripture will give you another meaning, according to what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you.

Never think of ourselves as highly than others, because we are all God's children.  Just because we may not be dealing with the same sin as our sister, that does not give you the right to be judgmental.  Can you handle the truth?  Remember we all have our demons to destroy.  Some of us are better at hiding our sins from our sisters, but we can never hid them from God.  Can God touch you and not get dirty?  Can God handle you and not get dirty.  Have you only washed the parts of you that people can see on the outside?  Are you carrying bitterness, strive, sexual sins, judgment of other, etc.).

The best way to keep our handles and the bottom of our skillets (our mind, body and spirit), holy and acceptable to God is to allow the Spirit of the Lord to dwell within us, and create in us a clean heart, everyday.  Everyday our lives bring new challenges, trials and situations that may try to keep us from presenting our bodies holy and acceptable to God.  That is the reason why we must invite the Holy Spirit to dwell within us on a daily basis.  PRAISE GOD!
