JUDGEMENT DAY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

My prayer for you today is that you are blessed of the Lord Jesus Christ and that your desire is to continue to seek after Him with your whole heart.

(James 4:12), There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy; who art thou that judgest another?

I wrote this one in my current book.  I read it again on yesterday and I thought this message would be a great one to revisit.

I had a job where one of my co-workers continuously came to work with the smell of alcohol on her breath.  I mean her pores reaped with alcohol.  I would get so made that I would spend the entire morning thinking about how horrible of a person she must have been.

One day, on my way home for lunch, all I thought about was how horrible she smelled and wondered why she would come to work smelling like alcohol.  The moment I got in the house, the Lord spoke to me.  "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?  Did you forget how muddy and nasty you used to smell?  Did you forget abut the drinking and drugs I delivered you from?  I saw you and still loved you.  Yes, through all your mess.  How dare you judge someone else!  I bought you out to bring someone else out".

I am so glad that God waited for me to get from behind the wheel of my car before He spoke those words to me.  I probably would have had an accident because the voice sounded so loud.  I was truly chastised by the Lord on that day.

Woman of God, the Lord can't use you if you are judging others shortcomings and mistakes.  You are not perfect and never will be, but with the Lord's help, you are in the process of being perfected in His eyes.  It is very easy to sit back and look at another person's situation and be judgmental.  You are standing on the outside looking in and have made up in your mind that person is no good and that their sin stinks more than yours does.  You don't have that right.  You don't have the right to turn up your nose at someone else, just because you are not in that particular situation.  I am sure that you have been delivered from something (smoking, drugs, shacking, friends with benefits, profanity, promiscuous, etc.), remember where you came from and who brought you out.  God could have left you spiritually dead but He decided that your testimony would be helpful and not harmful to someone else that is struggling.

Here's a message for all you perfect people out there, Judgment Day has not come just yet and when it does there will be only ONE JUDGE, HE WHO GIVES LIFE!  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your mercy and grace towards me.  Search my heart Lord and removed anything that you cannot use for Your glory.  Forgive me Lord for the thoughts I may have had towards others that have caused me to be judgmental.  Lord, renew my mind and create in me a clean heart so that I can be a witness to them and that they will come to know how gracious and merciful You truly are, in Jesus name, Amen.

WATCH OUT!

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of hope and love upon your life on today.  May the Lord God Almighty bless you as you seek after Him.

(2 Timothy 3:5-7), Having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth.

The Lord Jesus Christ wants to warn you about people that will come into your life only to destroy what He has planned for you.  There will come a time in your life where you will need someone to confide in out of your church.  You may have the desire to have a mentor to help you to develop your strengths in the Lord.  I am telling you this because it will definitely happen.  If you have not already experienced a let-down in the church or by a close friend then WATCH OUT!  There are people in your life today that you know that you should kick to the curb, but for some reason they just keep coming back.  Their purpose is to gain control over you when you are loaded down with a lot of problems or dealing with bad circumstances in your life.  Satan has a way of placing people in your life at the right time for him.  Satan waits until you are at your lowest point and see no way out then he sends demonic forces to overtake you.

There will come a time in your life when the friend or church lady you thought you could trust will let you down.  A lot of people, mainly in the church have only a form of godliness.  When you have a form of anything, it is not real, it is a counterfeit, a fake.  They are trying to be something that they are not.  They want you to believe that they are all that and they never been delivered from anything.

Sometimes I like to use movies to get my point across.  I will use one of my favorites for this one.  In the movie "The Thing", the creature would kill someone and try to take the form of the person it killed.  It was not the real person, only a replica of that person trying to trick people into thinking that it was someone that it wasn't.  During your Christian walk you will most likely encounter someone that only has a form of godliness.  If you study the Word of God very closely you will not be fooled by people that only put titles in front of their names, just because they wan to be praised and glorified.  WATCH OUT!  Even the most elite in the church can have only a form of godliness in them.  They sleep with women in the church that are weak-minded, that may come to them for help.  Let me just say this one last thing.  In my opinion, it is always better for a woman to get counsel from another woman to keep from getting tricked into something that is wrong.  I only minister to women, not that I can't do the same for men, but it keeps trouble down in my household and I don't want to ever give another man the wrong idea about me.  WATCH OUT you may have "The Thing" in your presence.  Be very careful with whom you make friends with and who you let in your home. Guard your salvation and your spiritual gifts with your life.  PRAISE GOD!

WHERE'S YOUR MIRACLE?

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed of the Lord Jesus Christ and that you continue to commune with Him for your spiritual growth.

(Romans 8:28 and 32), And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (8:32), He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will he not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

A lot of times when we read the bible, we hear of the miracles that happened in the older days and wonder does God still perform miracles.  Today the Lord God wants you to know that He is still working miracles, EVERYDAY!

Because of the rat race that we are faced with on a daily basis, we are unable to see the miracles of the Lord Jesus Christ working in our lives EVERYDAY!  If you study the above scripture, the Apostle Paul is reminding us that all things do work out for our good.  There is only one condition and that is that we have to love Him.  You have to love the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart to be able to receive the miracles of Him.  God did not spare His Son for us to live in bad circumstances and not be able to overcome them.  The bible says that He graciously gives us all things.  When someone graciously gives you something, that means that they have no problems giving it to you.

Okay, now it's time for me give you the answer to the question, where is your miracle?  Miracles happen for you EVERYDAY!  The things that you don't know are going on all around you daily are your miracles.  I will explain that a little bit further.  The bible says that everything works out for your good.  This means that although today may seem like the worst day of your life, God is working it out for your good.  You may be going through a difficult time in your relationships, finances, car troubles or employment but God is working ahead of you making the path clear for you to travel.  We don't know what lye's ahead of us, we can only speculate on what we want to happen.  You may be praying for a miracle because you have received an eviction notice.  God knows that you need a place to stay for you and your children.  He also knew that you would be evicted, so God is working a miracle on your behalf.  Even though you don't see it right now, He is working a miracle.  He may want you to move somewhere else because it would be in your best interest somewhere down the road. You may not see it at the time but if you trust in the Lord, you will soon realize that you did receive your miracles.

I have heard people say that they have received a blessing from someone to that help them in certain situations and that person didn't even know of the problems.  In my opinion, that was your miracle.  You had no idea that this person was going to bless you with exactly what you needed but God put it in their heart to be a blessing to you and you were in the right place at the right time.  Timing is everything, God works on timing.  So you see God was working all things out for your good, because you love His Son, Jesus Christ the Messiah.  The Lord is way ahead of you, that's why you can't see Him at this time, He is way ahead of you.  He's working out your financial problems, He's working on your marriage, He's working on your children's heart, He working out that perfect job for you.

You may not think that you have been blessed with the miracles of the Lord, but if you take some time to think about all the things that could have happened but didn't, and all the things that did happen in your life, you will realize that you have received quite a few miracles.  It's time for you to thank the Lord for the miracles as well as the blessings.  He is working it out for your good.  Be patient and wait on the Lord and He will show you where your miracles are.  It may not seem like a miracle right now, but in the end of your trial you will smile and thank the Lord that you waited and trusted on Him.  GIVE THE LORD PRAISE!

DEVELOPING YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 4

Good Morning Mighty Woman of God!
I pray that you are all having a blessed day in the Lord. As we are finishing our short series on prayer, my prayer for you is that you have been blessed and have been encouraged to strengthen your prayer life (relationship) with the Lord or know that you are headed in the right direction.

(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12), Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Woman of God, today the Lord's challenge for you is for you to pick a prayer partner. There are a number of reasons that having a prayer partner can be beneficial to your prayer life.
  • You will have someone that will keep you accountable as well as keeping that person accountable
  • When two are joined together in prayer, God is in the middle of you (paraphased)
  • You and your prayer partner will gain a closer relationship with the Lord together
  • You will keep each other motivated to pray daily, counting on one another
  • God loves a compassionate person and you will have to have a compassionate spirit in order to care enough for someone other than just your and yours
Is important is that you trust your prayer partner, without trust between both persons, your prayers will be frevalous. You won't confide in each other like you should be able to do. Discuss a time that will be best for the both of you and keep that time as best as you can. This will teach you both discipline. Having a life of prayer takes a lot of time, effort and discipline.  Make sure that you equally consider your prayer time together with the Lord important. While you are on the phone, keep your idle talk limited, maybe just to ask each other how their day is going. Discuss with each other any prayer request so that you both are in agreement. The bible says that, "If two stand in agreement praying God is in the midst of you. The only conversations that you be taking place should be that of Godly conversation. No gossip!

Both of you should pray, but if one of you are not comfortable praying on the phone then it's okay for just one of you to pray in the beginning.  Let the Holy Spirit lead you while you are in prayer.  For example: I would read a scripture or my prayer partner would read the scripture before prayer.  Maybe one of you might want to sing to the Lord.  It doesn't matter, just be lead by the Holy Spirit and you will do just fine.  My son, my daughter and I would have prayer everyday at the same time 3-way call.  If they wanted to talk to me about something other than the Lord, they would have to wait ten minutes then call me back.  There were also times that we just had a short bible study because they would have questions, but it was always centered around the bible and the Lord.  Lastly, never ever, ever discuss each other business with anyone that is not on your prayer line.  This will lead to mistrust and worst of all, you will have blown any blessings that God had planned for you and you will have to start all over because you obviously haven't learned a thing about prayer.  PRAISE GOD!

DEVELOPING YOUR PRAYER LIFE - 3

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you have all received the recent messages regarding prayer.  As a minister of Jesus Christ my charge is to help you in any way that I can.  Through "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministries", I plan to continue to do the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I also want you to know that if you do not desire to receive the daily blogs, I will not be offended if you block me from your Facebook.  I love the Lord and I am only doing His will, not my own.  God bless you!

(Daniel 10:12-13), Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard and I am come for thy words.  But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but , lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

First of all, I want to explain a little bit about the above scripture.  Daniel had been interpreting the kings dreams, through God. Daniel had been praying for an interpretation for twenty-one days and had not yet received an answer from God.  Then an angel came to Daniel and told him that from the time that he began praying God had sent an answer but the prince of Persia (Satan) held him up.  The angel had been in spiritual warfare for twenty-one days and had to call on the archangel Micheal to help him.  So for twenty-one days there was a fight in the spirit realm because Satan did not want Daniel to be able to get the interpretation from God to deliver to the king.

This story is very important because it describes how our prayers can be held up.  Sometimes it may take for you to fight in the spiritual realm for your answered prayers.  This only means that you may have to stay in prayer longer than you may have had to in the past.  Don't let the words "spiritual warfare" scare you.  The spiritual realm is a mysterious thing.  Sometimes God withholds certain outcomes because the timing isn't right.  And other times our hearts and circumstances require adjustments before He can say yes.  There are evidently times the devil fears what you're praying for and wages war against it.  Meanwhile, God is setting stage for the answer, dispatching heaven's forces (angels) to fight on your behalf.

Last but not least, remember that not all of your prayers are answered the way that you may want them to but you have to trust God.  You have to trust that God knows what is best for you and He is working everything out for your good. If you truly put your trust in the Lord then you will also develop a spirit of patience.  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!

DEVELOPING A PRAYER LIFE 2

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings over your life today as you go about your day.  Today the Lord has given you another day so this should be a day that you give back to Him by glorifying Him as you go about your day.

(Mark 11:24), Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

As I stated on yesterday, I am going to do a short series on Prayer.  The Lord's desire is that those of you that are a little bit stuck or fall short when it comes to prayer; develop a prayer life to commune with Him.

The other day, I was going through something and it came to my mind, "I will just pray that the Lord will make sure that I am okay".  Then before I even let that thought simmer in my mind, I said, "I will not pray that prayer because I know that the Lord will take care of me".  You see sometimes in order for your situation to change, you have to change your heart.  At a certain point in your life you should not be wondering whether or not the Lord is with you in your situation.  Change your prayer to that of gratification and worship for what He is doing.  Even though you may not see the change in your situation, you have to trust God.  I know that it is sometimes very hard to do when you feel like the walls are closing in on you.  Also, I want you to give this some thought.  Even though you are asking the Lord for something to change your situation, you have to trust in Him without wavering.  What may happen is that the Lord will take you in a whole different direction than the one that you wanted to travel.

You may also need to change your prayers to that of thanksgiving instead of whining and complaining about what you do not have.  For example, your lights are shut off and you need to call the company and make some arrangement, you prayer should be: "Lord, I don't know what you are going to do, but I thank you for taking care of my situation.  Lord, I don't know how you are going to help me put food on the table today, but I am praising you now for it.  Lord, I don't know how you are going to fix my marriage, but I worship you today for it.  That is how you pray to the Lord, without wavering.  Sometimes your might not think that you are wavering but in the back of your mind you are still keeping what you are suppose to give to the Lord.  You are still worried.

When I first moved from Las Vegas to Georgia, we did not know where we were going to stay.  We prayed all the way here and we first settled in Norcross.  No transportation, no knowledge of the city.  We looked at several homes in Norcross but we ended up way across town.  Close to schools and shopping within walking distance.  And the Lord made sure we had good neighbors that helped us out with the use of their car.  We had to trust the Lord all the way from Vegas to Georgia, believe and you shall have.  The Lord promises to be the spring in your darkest valley and a stream of living water in your driest desert.  HALLELUJAH!  PRAISE GOD!

DEVELOPING A PRAYER LIFE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement to keep me in my Word and writing the blogs.  I pray that you are all spiritually blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ!

(1 Chronicles 5:20), They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle.  He answered their prayers, because they trusted in Him.

I want you to focus on the last part of that scripture: (He answered their prayers, because they trusted in Him.  A lot of people think that they don't know how to pray.  This is a misconception that the devil is placing in your mind.  It doesn't matter if you don't pray like the deacons, pastors, or prayer warriors at your church.  What matters to the Lord is that you pray with all sincerity and with your heart.  God is not impressed by big words.  He doesn't care if you are not praying like someone else.  If fact, if you are praying to the Lord with your heart, you can't possibly pray like someone else.  You have to trust in the Lord with your prayers.  I would rather tell God all my secrets rather than man.

Prayer should not be an exercise, it is the life of the saints of the Lord. It is coming into perfect fellowship and oneness with the Lord.  How do you come into perfect fellowship and oneness with God?  By giving Him your time.  It is not the words themselves by the heart behind them.  King David, a man after God's own heart trusted the Lord with all his thoughts and feelings, including unhealthy ones. Prayer is a lifelong, no-holds-barred conversation wit a God we increasingly learn to trust.  What I mean by telling the Lord even your unhealthy prayers, is that you have to go to God with even the bad thoughts that you have.  He already knows them.  There may be times where you have to forgive someone but you just can't seem to get there.  You can trust God and tell Him, Lord, I know that I should forgive him/her but I am having trouble in doing so, please help me Lord so that I can forgive them.

Trust God with your private thoughts and He will answer your prayers. God enjoys any type of communication with us, because He loves each of us.  You cannot love someone that you don't communicate with on a daily basis.  You have to have self-discipline when it comes to having a daily life of prayer.  You have to desire it with your heart.  If you give the Lord some time, He will give you the desires of your heart.  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

We are going to go through a couple of series this week on "Developing a Prayer Life".  I pray that you are blessed by the messages and that you trust God with all your heart and He will answer your prayers.

FAUTLESS IN GOD'S PRESENCE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are all blessed by the Lord Jesus Christ.  I pray for each of you daily, your marriages, relationships, finances, loss of loved ones, children's safety and all your needs and wants.  The Lord knows what you are in need of and I just touch and agree with God for your blessings.

(Jude 1:24-25), Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to presents you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, o the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Not that those you have never been fault for anything, but your faults shall not be imputed to your ruin.  If it had not been for God's mercy and a Saviour's merits, you would be found faultless before the eyes of the Lord God.  I like the fact that we can be counted righteous before God if we have a righteous heart.  We will never be perfect, because we were all born sinners, therefore we will always be imperfect people.  But God says that because of the Saviour (Jesus Christ), we can be kept from falling and can be presented to God with joy and not sorrow.

God is well aware of all of our faults and shortcoming, yet they will not be held against us if we are truly and sincerely seeking to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.  God knows your heart.  A lot of people say that term but if you use that term "God knows my heart", you better make sure that your heart is pure and that there is no wickedness in your heart.  Although we often say and do the wrong things, when we know them to be wrong that does not make you wicked in your heart.  It makes you human.  Always remember that God is in your corner every step of the way.  The faults that you have had in your past is your past.  You will still be presented faultless when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back in His glory.  Don't let your faults fill you with fear, doubt, or sorrow.  Be of good cheer, if you are sincere, God knows.

Don't let people judge you or your behavior because they have not walked in your shoes.  I don't care what they say that they have been through, they still have not walked in your shoes.  Maybe their shoes where going in the same direction, but they were not yours.  I always tell the women of God that I have been through, drug rehab, jail, promiscuous behavior, physical abuse, bad marriages and a lot of other numerous things.  Those issues make me compassionate towards women, but I have not walked in your shoes.  Again have a good heart and keep seeking to do what is right and you will be presented faultless before God, because of the blood that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One, shed for you.  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!

ACCEPTING GOD'S MERCY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord.  I believe that this is a good message for all of us today.

God Mercy!  How do we really accept God's mercy when we feel as if we have really messed things up?  We read our Word everyday, have a prayer life, worship the Lord throughout the day and listen to gospel music all day to keep us close to God.  Not that doing all these things are a sure way to make us better than anyone else, that's not my point.  I am just setting the scene.

We attend church on a regular basis and sometimes minister in the pulpit but when things hit home we don't know how to accept God's mercy for ourselves.  We can pray for others but when it comes to ourselves we have no one to encourage us.  We forget everything that we have ministered to others.  We encourage and show compassion to everyone outside of our homes, but we things hit home we don't show compassion to our spouses.  Not that we do these things purposely, it just happens and we don't take a step back to collect our thoughts before we shout out things that we will regret later.  Somehow we forgot to grab scriptures out of our hearts and pull them out to defuse the situation.  The words that come out of our mouth are not pleasing to God and we know it but for some reason we continue in rage.

Later on in the day or the next day, we realize how horribly we acted.  We are ashamed of ourselves and feel like God's is looking down on us, shaking His head. We don't know how we are going to pray, minister, encourage or stand in the pulpit after what we have done.  All we can hear are the words that we have said and can visualize the things that we have done.  We have prayed to ask for the Lord's forgiveness but we refuse to forgive ourselves.  We forget about God's mercy.

The reason why I know how you might feel after you have done or said something that you know was not pleasing to God is that I have been there.  Not only have I been there but it was as recently as Sunday.  Somehow things just got out of hand and I was not able to bring myself back.  The pain I felt in my heart was unbearable.  I woke up the next morning and could not get in the right frame of mind.  I felt that I could not have the nerve to pray and ask God for anything but forgiveness and mercy.  I laid in the bed all day with the door close feeling like I had just died.  I didn't know what else to do so I turned to a Christian television show and called the number on the screen for prayer.  One thing that I do know is that when you need prayer, you need it now.  The first number that I called was an answering machine and they would get back to me.

While on the phone with the prayer warrior, I briefly told her what I was going through.  I never have anyone to pray for me when I am in need so I need prayer.  The woman on the other end of that phone mind as well have been in the same room as myself because she was definitely lead by the Holy Spirit while she prayed for me.  She reminded me of God's mercy and that the bible was full of imperfect people that God used.  She told me not to forget that it is not me that does the work but the Holy Spirit that uses me and to continue on in my ministry because I am a willing vessel.  She prayed that I would search my heart and see if there was any wickedness in me.  I just cried and felt so much relief in my heart.  So here I am today, accepting God's mercy upon my life today.

My sisters in Christ Jesus as long as you are humble when asking for God's forgiveness, accept His mercy.  It's very hard when we feel so horrible, but we have to press pass our own unforgiveness and accept God's mercy.  We are often too hard on ourselves, I want you to remember this, if you don't remember anything else, no one but God, has a heaven or hell to put you in.  PRAISE GOD!

THE SAINT . . . THE SINNER

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God! I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for each of you and I pray that you are blessed by the daily messages and I know that todays message is a timely one for someone.

(Luke 18:9-14), To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.  The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: God, I thank you that I am not like other men, robbers, evildoers, adulterers or even like this tax collector.  I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get. But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, God, have mercy on me, a sinner. I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

I had to include the entire parable so that you can grasp the full understanding of today's message.  Do you remember this song?  "We fall down, but we get up . . . for a saint is just a sinners who fell down but got up?"  How does a sinner become a saint in the eyes of the Lord?  How can you fall down so many times and still be a saint in God's eyes?  Once you get up, why does the Lord call you a saint?  Why does He love you so much?

If you read the parable closely, Jesus is speaking about people that look down on others and judge them because they think that they are so righteous.  They think that they have never fallen so they are better than you.  The person (Pharisee) stood up and prayed to God saying that he was glad that he never sinned or fallen like other people and he assumed that God loved him more.  The tax collector did not see himself as a saint, he practically begged and pleaded with God to hear his prayers.  He did not even think that he deserved to be in the presence of God.  He begged God to have mercy upon him.  Jesus is saying that the tax collector has a better chance getting into heaven than the man that thought he was all that.

As long as you are humble in spirit and recognize your sins, God will exalt you before the people that have talked about you when you were down.  Even your friends that didn't help you when they saw you fall down, but they talk about how good they are and how horrible of a person you are.  God cannot use a person that is not humble in spirit.  God will humble the person that shows no compassion for others and will exalt you right before their eyes.  They will wonder why you are so blessed when you have fallen down so many times.

The reason the Lord blesses you is because you are most likely to be more humble in spirit when you are in prayer because you feel like you don't deserve the love of God.  God can use you as long as when you fall, you keep getting up.  You don't brag about all your accomplishments like the Pharisee, but you will hold your head down feeling the shame of being a sinner.  If you have friends or family members that keep record of all the bad things that you have done in your life; it's time to change the people in your circle.  If you cannot trust them to keep their mouth shut when you confide in them; it's time to change your circle of friends.  If you have people around you that think that their sin don't stink and you are worst than their are; it's time to make a change.  Some people, even your family and friends would rather keep you down by talking about you because they don't want others to see their sins.  You should be happy that you are humble in spirit, rather than God to make you humble.  GIVE GOD THE PRAISE FOR HIS MERCY AND COMPASSION!  AMEN!

ARE YOU TOO DIRTY TO PRAY?

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of the fullness of the Holy Spirit upon your life.  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Psalms 32:1-2), Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven; whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit.

There was a time in my life where I thought that I was too dirty and filthy to go to God in prayer. I felt that my sexual sins and my drug abuse had kept me out of the Lord of Christ.  Maybe this has never happened to you or maybe you have not been through what I have, so I will just tell you my story today.  When I was doing so much sin on a day to day basis, there was no way that I would even have the nerve to get on my knees and prayer to God.  Why should I ask for forgiveness for something that I know that I will do again tomorrow?  Why should I ask the Lord for protection, when I know that I will go places and do things that I should not do?  Why would God watch over me, when I am premiscious and on drugs?  These were all of my concerns and the excuses as to why I could not pray. To me, the worst thing about my life was that I knew the Lord, or at least I thought I did.  I knew that He loved me, but I was not aware of the word unconditional.  When I look back over my life and the horrible things that I did, I would not have ever seen myself writing a book or ministering to women to help get them through difficult issues in their lives.  I stole, drank, slept around and did drugs, "too dirty to pray", is what I thought I was at the time. I believed that God was disgusted with me, after all, I sure was.

I was ashamed of myself.  Shame is the deep sense that you are unacceptable by friends, family and by God; because of something you did or by something that was done to you.  Even if you were sexually abused that can cause you to be in deep shame.  Shame keeps you from the love of God, because you don't think that you deserved any better.  Shame keeps you from praying to the Lord because of how you feel about yourself, NOT HOW GOD FEELS ABOUT YOU.  Let me say that again so that you will get that down in your spirit, shame keeps you from praying to the Lord because of how you feel about yourself, NOT HOW GOD FEELS ABOUT YOU.

Jesus Christ is not a man, He is God-in-the-flesh.  He took all your shame and sin and nailed it on the cross when He died.  The scripture says that your sin is covered and that is because of the blood of the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ).  Your sins are forgiven, and that is because of the blood of the Lamb of God (Jesus Christ).  As long as your spirit is not deceitful before God, you are blessed.  Jesus Christ has always touched the ones in the bible that no one else would.  He cleansed the leper, He didn't  mind when the woman with the issue of blood touch the hem of His garment because of His compassion.  GOD SAYS TO YOU TODAY, GO IN PEACE MY DAUGHTER, YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WHOLE.  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

SOMETHING TOLD ME . . .

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you all receive the Lord's message on today.  Keep the faith and stay strong, no matter what it looks like on the outside, God is working on the inside.  God bless you.

(Psalms 16:7-8), I will bless the Lord who has counseled me; indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.  I have set the Lord continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Have you ever been getting ready to leave the house and something tell you, "take your umbrella?"  You look out the window and see nothing but sunny skies, so you leave the house without your umbrella.  About an hour later the clouds fill the skies with a blacken layer.  It starts to storm and you have to walk at least five minutes to your car.  Then you say to yourself, "something told me to take my umbrella, dag".  That happens a lot to people. I have learned through prayer ministry that it is best to listen to that small still voice that you hear.  If you develop a close relationship with the Lord you can depend on Him to give you guidance in everything that you do.  Everything is important all the way down to what you should wear for the day.  You may want to wear a specific pair of shoes and the Lord tells you to put on another pair.  You really want to wear the first pair, but you are also obedient to the Lord.  You wear the second pair and as you begin to put the first pair back into your closest you notice the the heel coming off and if you would have worn them they would have broken off.  That is how the Lord gives you counsel throughout the day.

If you wake up in the morning blessing the Lord, He will give you counsel throughout the day, all you have to do is listen.  If you keep your mind stayed on Jesus; He will instruct you even in the midnight hour.  Just this morning, I woke up with a horrible attitude. I was not upset with my husband, I was upset that my shoulder had been in pain all night and I am going through menopause and was wet all night, I did not sleep well at all.  I had to take a step back and think about the fact that the Lord blessed me with another day.  I did a quick attitude adjustment, read my word and continued to listen to worship music and pray.  I ask the Lord for forgiveness of my attitude and prayed that I would be able to sleep without pain tonight.  That's all I can ask for, and even if I go through the same things tonight, I am determined to wake up with a grateful attitude.

The scripture is written by David and he is saying that he has set the Lord before him (meaning that he will not go anywhere without God.  He is not going before the Lord, David is expecting the Lord to go before him and make straightway his path.  He continues on to say that he will keep the Lord by his side so that his faith will not be shaken.  No matter what the enemy throws in front of him, the Lord is before him and on the side of him, he will not fear the enemies thorns.

If you set the Lord before you every morning, there is nothing for you to fear.  Your right hand will be lifted up by the Lord and He is also in front of you giving you all of the instructions that you will need for the day.  Remember that the Lord God is continually going before you and is clearing your path to your blessings.  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

TRIALS LEAD TO TRUST

Hello, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of the Lord's favor upon your life.  May you walk in the way of the Lord's direction daily.

If you could change anything in your life, what would you go back and change?  I have often thought about that question earlier in my ministry.  The thing is that you have to look at the bad with the good.  If I could go back in time and change the fact that I got married when I was 17 years old, then I would no have my son.  If I could go back and change the fact that I was in an abusive relationship for ten years, then I would not have had my lovely daughter.  If I could go back in time to change anything in my past, then I would not have had the trials that have made me stronger.  It is so true that what does not kill us, will make us stronger.  For some reason women seem to have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to life's issues.  We bare children and because they are ours we will always provide for them.  We somehow make a way for them.  Even if we don't eat, we will make sure that they eat.  It is very rare that a man will leave the home and take the children with him.  It seems like it is a written law, that the children stay with mom.  Not that we mind at all, it's just that no man ever says he will take the children.  He seems to get off scott free.

I still say that God has made women much stronger than men.  Because we have to bare and care for our children.  He foreknew everything that we would have to go through.  So I wouldn't want to change anything because then I would not have the knowledge of the Lord that I do have.  Sometimes our trials puts us closer to the Lord.  Your trials will lead you to trusting in the Lord.  It doesn't matter how we get to Him, but we will eventually get there.  Do you ever notice how many women and men are in the church.  It is usually at least 70% more women than men.  We got issues and we know where to go to get some help.

I have heard people use the term,"when one door closes, God will open another door".  Think about this; sometimes the Lord has to close some doors in our lives so that it will keep the enemy out.  Sometimes He closes the door on bad relationships, on abusive relationships, on emotions stress and on people that mean us no good.  He will open another door, if you keep the other one close.  If you keep opening the door that He closes, you will never get to the door that holds all your blessings.

Now my point to this is that there is always something that you can think about that will out way the bad.  When you think about something that you have had to go through, think about what good came out of it.  Anytime that you go through something, there is always a blessings waiting on the other side. I love each of you and I pray that the Lord is working on each of you and working out your trials to become trusting in Him.  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!

DRAW CLOSER TO GOD

Mighty Woman of God, I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ.  I speak that the Lord's grace and mercy be upon you on today.

(2 Chronicles 7:15-16), "Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place, I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever.  My eyes and my heart will always be there."

Relationship - A sate of connectedness between people; closeness Personal - peculiar or proper to private concerns. (Webster's New College Dictionary; Third Edition).

Woman of God, the Lord desires to have a relationship with you.  Not just to hear your request r hear you read off your list of things that you want Him to do for you today.  The more time that you spend with the Lord, the closer your relationship with Him will be.  You will find yourself walking in the Lord's favor everyday.

There are a numerous of you ladies that desire to have a closer relationship with God.  This is not an impossible request.  The one thing that you have to remember is that God also wants to have a closer relationship with you.  The both of you desire to have the same thing.  The one thing that I think people tend to miss the mark is because you don't let the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of the Lord), have His way in your life.  You cannot put God in a box.  You have to be willing to do whatever it takes to have a relationship with Him.  Do you remember when you first met your husband or boyfriend?  You would call them everyday and you miss them when they were not in your presence for a long period of time.  You spent a lot of time together building a relationship to see if He was the right person for you to spend the rest of your life with.

This is the same way that you have to woo God.  You have to spend time with Him, call on Him everyday and you will begin to miss Him when He is not in your presence.  You have to spend a lot of time together, building a relationship with Christ because He is the one that you desire to spend the rest of your life with.  A lot of people say that they don't hear God speaking to them.  Yes you do.  It is that small still voice in your mind (your conscience).  Once you have a personal relationship with God you will be able to immediately determine God's voice from your own.  Also remember the devil will never tell you to do or say anything that will benefit God.  For instance, you are at church and you hear the Lord tell you to give money to the person next to you.  The devil will never tell you to bless someone else.  The bible says, "my sheep know my voice".  This means that when you hear a voice telling you to do or say something that will glorify God that is His voice.  One more thing, the Lord is saying that His eyes and ears will always be there for you; will you be there to hear Him?  The more time that you spend with God, the more personal your relationship with one another will become closer.  Just as you spend time with your spouse or close friend you talk to them everyday, treat God better than your spouse or friends.  Put no man before the Lord God.  PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

PONDERING ON THE PAST

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life. No matter what you are going through in your life that the Lord is working it out for your good.

(Philippians 3:13-14), Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Woman of God, the Lord wants you to keep pressing forward towards Him.  Yesterday is the past and whatever you have done wrong, keep pressing towards the present.  Whatever issues you have had to deal with, keep pressing forwards towards Him, which is your high calling.  Sometimes at the end of the day, we all tend to look back and ponder over all the things that we did earlier.  We think about what we could have done to make something better or we ponder on what we could have done to make someone else's life better.  Did you say the wrong thing?  Did you do the wrong things?  Why is this person mad at us?  Whatever the question is at the end of the day, don't ponder on it, it is the end of the day.  You can never go back.  Don't ponder on the broken promises that you have made to the Lord.  He already knew it was going to happen, so He is not mad about it.  So Christ is not sitting at the right hand of God the Father, saying, "I didn't know she would do that, she caught me be surprise".

Maybe you have done something so horrible in your past and you are constantly asking for the Lord's forgiveness.  He has already forgiven you, you have to forgive yourself.  That is the past and the Lord does not want you to ponder on the past.  The Lord's desire for you is that you press towards the mark and finish the race that you have already started.  This is the one thing that Paul does, reaching for the things that are ahead of him.  You have to reach towards the blessings that God has for you.  If you are pondering on the past, then you are looking backwards and you cannot see what God has for your future (what's in your future).

Always try to do better each day that the Lord has blessed you with another day.  But never ponder on what has already happened.  Pray for the Lord's forgiveness and move on, that is what the Lord is doing, forgetting and moving you on to the future.  If you have done something or said something that doesn't sit well with you at the end of the day, you should apologize to that person and keep moving forward.  Pondering on a horrible past or things that you may have lost or gained because of your past, move forward.  The Lord is not pondering on your past, you should not ponder on your past either. PRAISE GOD! AMEN!

GOD'S COMPASS

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed on today.  I speak blessings of peace and joy upon your life and may the Lord continue to be with you as you seek after Him.
(Proverbs 3:1-6), My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; For the length of days and long life and peace they will add to you. Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around you neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man.  Trust in the Lord with all heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
When I was in the Girl Scouts, we would often go on camping trips.  One of the things that we had to have in our packs was a compass.  A compass will get you where to need to be whenever you are going in the wrong direction.  If you do not have a compass, you will have to rely on your own knowledge of directions.
The first part of the scripture the Lord is admonishing us to remember what He has said in His word by reading the Word of God and keep in close to your heart.  You cannot keep His commands in your heart if you don't know what the Word of God says.  The length of your days does not necessary mean that you will live until you are ninety years old, but the Lord is saying that as long as you live His peace will be with you all the days of your life.  Don not let mercy and truth forsake you; bind them in your heart means to always stay connected with the Lord by having the ability to remember scriptures (what the Word says) about your situation.  Doing that will keep you in the favor of God and you will be highly esteemed.  Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, acknowledge the Lord in everything that you do and He shall direct your paths.  Meaning the Lord's understanding is far more than we could ever imagine, so don't try to understand why the Lord is working the way He is concerning your circumstances.  Acknowledge Him, meaning pray daily making your request known to Him, praise and worship and He will be your compass giving directions for your life.
Woman of God, the Word of God (your bible) is God's compass.  Read your bible everyday, study your bible everyday and you will not get lost but you will know which direction the Lord wants you to take.  PRAISE THE LORD!  AMEN!
If you are interested in supporting the ministry, please purchase a copy of my book, "Spiritual Growth for Women-Breaking Shackles visit www.amazon.com or xlibris.com, thank you for your support. God bless you.

ACCORDING TO . . .

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak blessings of peace upon you in the name of Jesus Christ.  By the power given to me by the Holy Spirit, I speak the blessings of joy will overtake you in Jesus name.

(Matthew 9:28-29), And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.  Then touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. (Ephesians 3:20), Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

The Lord wants you to be able to read, understand and keep it in your heart about the power that you have been given through His Son Jesus Christ.  Before Christ touched the men eyes, He first asked the question, did they believe that He was able to heal them.  The reason why Jesus asked them the question was so that they would publicly declare that He was the Christ, the Son of the Living God, the Messiah, the Anointed One. Jesus knew how they felt about Him and what they had believed, He just wanted them to announce their belief to everyone else.  There reply was a simple, "Yes." After Jesus touched their eyes it was very important that the had faith.  According to their faith, they were healed.

Woman of God, the Lord is speaking to you today.  According to your faith is what you will receive from the Lord.  If you have big faith you will receive big blessings.  If you only believe the Lord for the small things, then that is what you will receive from Him.  Notice the word according to their faith.  If they did not have enough faith in Jesus, they would not have been healed.  We serve a big God and He is able to do exceeding and above all that we can even think or imagine.

The last part of Ephesians, the Lord Jesus Christ had again spoken the word according.  He is saying that you have power over every obstacle, bad situations and circumstances in your life.  Once Christ died for your sins, you were given power by the Holy Spirit.  You must have no doubt in your heart or mind when it comes to receiving the power of the Holy Spirit that is working in your life today.  Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and sent the Holy Spirit in His place.  The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus Christ.  You have to believe that you have power in order to shake the devil off of you, your marriage, your family, your job and your children.  You have to believe, unwavering that you have power.  You will only have as much power that you believe you have (according to the power that worketh in you.  Meaning according to how much power you believe you have. The bible says that you have been given all power to tread over (serpents) demons.

A short story about believing God for the big blessing.  I am not a materialistic person, but I lived in Chicago and took the Metro Train to work everyday.  I also notice all the women on the platform with their furs and they looked warm. I ask the Lord for a fur coat.  His answer to me was, "Is that all you want?"  Never in a million years did I think that He would not only give me a fur coat, but it was given to me for free.  A mink coat with a fox trimming.  My mentor called me to her house one day and began to shower me with a lot of her beautiful suits, then she came out of the room with a beautiful fur coat and said, "For all that you have done for me, I want to bless you with this coat".  I thanked God for the longest.  I couldn't praise Him enough.  Not only did I have that one fur coat, that was half in length, a month later my mother sent me her full length fox fur coat.  She didn't have use for it in Las Vegas.

Woman of God, it's time for yo to start believing the Lord for the big things.  According to your faith is what you will receive.  Start believing God for the big things in your life.  Stop thinking small because we serve a God that owns everything.  Stop believing God for just a job, be specific about the type of job that you desire to have and according to your faith is what you will receive.  God's desires to open up the windows of heaven and pour you out blessings, but if you only have your window cracked or partly open you are not going to be able to receive all that He has for you.  One other thing that I need to give a word about.  I am a prayer warrior and a prophetess, I believe that I do have power to speak a word into your life, but I also know that it is only through the power of the Holy Spirit.  Those of you that I have had the opportunity to pray with over the phone, know that because of the power of the Holy Spirit's gift, I have been able to reveal certain things in your life without you telling me.  It is because God wants you to know that it is He that is operating in me.  He does that because He wants you to know that He is does exists.  PRAISE THE LORD! AMEN!

RENEWAL...CLEAN HEART

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are going to receive today's message from the Holy Spirit.  I speak blessing of peace upon your life on today.

(Psalms 51:10-12), Create in me a clean heart, O God: and renew a right spirit within me.  Cast me not away from they presence; and take not they Holy Spirit from me.  Restore unto me the joy of they salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Woman of God, one thing that I have learned is that we should daily go before the Lord asking Him to create a clean heart within us.  The reason is that everyday we have things in our heart that we should not have.  It could be places that we go, things that we said and even things that we did not say but thought in our hearts.  When you pray, you should always ask for forgiveness of your sins the things that you have done and even the things that you thought in your heart.  The bible says that even the things that we think in our hearts is sinning against the Lord.

We should ask God to renew our spirit daily because we will always need our spirit within us to be renewed.  You cannot live on yesterday's anointing or renewal you must ask for renewal as often as you ask for the forgiveness of your sins.  You need the Lord to cleanse you heart from any evil thoughts and therefore your spirit will be renewed.  David is also praying to God that although he has and will mess up, he is praying that God will not take the Holy Spirit away from him.  David understood that the Holy Spirit had to stay with him in order for him to live right and be under God's protection.  So David is simply saying, "God I know that I do wrong but please don't take your presence from me.  David was considered a friend of God, according to the bible.  He knew how to repent and how to pray to God for forgiveness, a clean heart and a right spirit.

In order for you to be a living testimony for the Lord, you will have to have a clean heart, which also means that you will be able to have compassion for other people.  Your heart will not be bitter towards those whom have harmed you or caused great despair in your life.  As long as you have the Holy Spirit within you, you will always live under the Lord's divine protection.

A child of God knows no true nor solid joy but the joy of God's salvation, joy in God his Savior and in the hope of eternal life.  God will uphold you when you are ready to fall, either into sin or into despair; Lord sustain me; my own spirit is not sufficient; if I be led to myself, I shall certainly sink.  We have to seek the Lord daily because sin is always going to be lurking at our door.  David understood that therefore he knew that he needed to seek after the Lord to keep him from falling into sin.  He knew that if he had to do it under his own power that he would never be able to sustain himself, he would certainly sink.

We will always mess up but the good news is that if we ask the Holy Spirit to go before us, making our way straight and upright before the Lord.  Therefore daily prayer for the Lord to create in us a clean heart, renew in us a right spirit, restore upon us the joy of the fact that Jesus Christ has given us salvation.  PRAISE THE LORD!  AMEN!
