THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I speak the blessings and favor of the Lord Jesus Christ upon your life.  May you find peace, joy and happiness in Him.  Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and He will direct your path.

(Matthew 4:8-11), Again, the devil taketh him up into an excdeeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Satan's attempt to tempt Jesus Christ was a plan to stop Him from fulfilling God's purpose for His life.  Jesus was doing the will of His Father and therefore Satan was definitely trying to stop Him at every turn of His life.  Jesus was headed in the right direction and Satan wanted to throw Him off course.

When someone is trying to stop you at every turn then you are headed in the right direction.  You have finally made the decision to follow after Christ and seek after Him with all of your heart and all of a sudden all hell breaks lose.  You were doing fine as long as you weren't trying to develop a closer relationship with the Lord but now that you have decided to let go of some of the things that God doesn't approve of, your life seems to be a mess.  Everything that can go wrong is going wrong.  Satan is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at you. Why me?  Why not you?

I used to ask myself that same question all the time and God's answer to me was, "Why not you?"  If Christ was talked about and suffered for no reason why do you think that you can go about doing God's business without the enemy trying to stop you?  You are a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ and the bible says, that we too will be persecuted just like Christ was persecuted.  So think it not strange when the devil is right on your heels.  That only means that you have to run faster.  You finally decided to hold on to your deliverance and the enemy does not like it.  He would rather have you smoking, smoking blunts, drinking, partying, fornicating and doing everything else that detest the Lord than to have you strive towards righteousness.

Maybe you don't struggle with any of those issues, but you have decided to join a ministry in the church and now all of a sudden the enemy is wreaking havoc in your home.  He is trying to make your life in disarray so that you will not have the time to be dedicated to the ministry that you know the Lord has called you to.  You not only found out what God's purpose and plans are for your life but now you are seeking to follow His plans; the enemy would rather have you just sit in the church pews, not in the pulpit.  He knows that you have a ministry on the inside of you because He predestined it before the world was even in existence.  Maybe God has given you a voice that will bring deliverance to people and you have finally decided to sing in the choir.

I have always be a believer of the term, "if the enemy isn't bothering you; then you aren't doing your job for the Lord.  You are suppose to be on your job, going about God's business everyday.  Satan will not miss one day of work.  You can't just call in sick when things get a little rough.  You can't afford to take a day off from prayer, praise and worshipping the Lord.

As the new year approaches, people tend to start making New Year's Resolutions and never keep them.  A lot of people even make a resolution to attend church more regularly, start attending church or start a consistent prayer life.  Before you decide to make a promise to God for the New Year, make a promise to yourself.  Your life is on the line, not His.  PRAISE THE LORD!

Please plan to attend the "Women's Conference", May 25, 2013.  Come out for fellowship, food and a great time in the Lord.  Sign in my events calendar, I am excited about what the Lord is going to do for us at the conference.  Also, please support "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry" by purchasing a copy of my book, "Spiritual Growth for Women - Breaking Shackles", at www.amazon.com and www.xlibris.com, thank you so much for your support.  God bless you.
