DOING LAUNDRY

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings of peace and love upon your life today.  This message is going to hurt OUCH!  Prayerfully you will take a moment to placed it in your knowledge belt.  God bless!

(2 Corinthians 6:14-18), Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.  For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?  Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God.  As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people".  "Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord.  Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.  I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty".

I know that's a lot of scripture, but bare with me, I'm going to make this short and sweet.  First of all, let me just say, I AM NOT PERFECT.  I never claim to have all the answers.  I don't judge people nor do I ridicule people.  My bio. never allows me to forget that I've been through some things and yet still have a long way to go.  I am very truthful with this ministry and have even gone as far as to throw myself under the bus, several times.  But today, I have to give you this message.  You may not receive it right away, or maybe you know someone that you can pass this message to.

When I was about ten years old, my mother showed us how to separate and wash clothes.  We didn't have a washing or dryer, so we had to separate the clothes at home, then take them on a journey to the Laundromat.  It seemed like a journey because three little girls walked laundry for five in a cart.  Once my mother taught us how to separate the clothes properly, she then watched as my older sister began to do it by herself.  Once the laundry was separated, my mother would placed them in the bags according to whites, colors and dark clothing.  Once we arrived to the Laundromat my sister had to be very careful, to make sure she knew when the whites ended and the colors started, and the same with dark colors.  Are you following me?

Think about this.  If you wash a white blouse with a red sock, the white blouse will turn pink.  The red sock will have no damage to it because it is the darker color (the more dominant one).  There is no way around it, that your blouse will no longer be the same color as it was when you purchased it at the store.  Now you can quickly fix that pink blouse if you separate the blouse from all the other clothes and pour bleach over the blouse.  The blouse will turn back to it's original color.  Are you still with me?

If you are unevenly yoked with someone, either by marriage, friendship or relationships you are going to eventually get tainted.  The more company that you keep with that person, place or thing you will slowly fade away.  In my opinion, if you are a believer and you are connected with an unclean thing, whether person, place or thing you will fade to the color that you are connected with.  Being unevenly yoked means that you are not seeking to do what is right all the time.  Now I realize that we all fall short, but if you know that you are slowly fading and drifting away from the Lord, Jesus Christ because of that thing that you are yoked with, it's time for you to make a crucial decision.  There are so many ways and things in this world that can cause us to lose our color.  Drugs, relationships, employment, the love of money, etc.  The devil knows what will make you fade away from Christ and the devil is not afraid to mix in with you to turn your white into red. If you allow Satan to be the dominant one in your life, you are fading away from the Lord, Jesus Christ.  If you are allowing drugs, drinking, partying, sex, men be the dominant color in your life, you are fading away from salvation.  You still have an opportunity to allow God to pour the bleach, wash you and separate you from the thing that is causing you to fade away or shrink in the eyes of the Lord.

Are you going to be content with turning pink, because you don't what to give up that person, place or thing?  Are you willing to shrink in the eyes of the Lord?  Are you willing to take a chance that you might be able to keep your white color?  Being a Christian means that the moment you decided to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to you, He quickly poured bleach over you and washed you until you were white again (your sins were forgiven).  The bible says, "thou your sins were like crimson red, because of what Jesus Christ did for you, your sins are white as snow.  PRAISE GOD!  I love you with the love of the Lord.  GOD BLESS YOU.
