HANG ON IN THERE

(Isaiah 40:29-31), He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

For some reason, this world has taken a turn from what God's initial plan for humankind was.  The main reason is because of Satan and the hold that he has on the men of this world.  Some (not all) men think that just the woman conceive children.  Once you are pregnant, they somehow forget that they have played a significant part in the pregnancy.  How many men say, "I'm leaving and taking the children with me?"  Nope, they just seem to think that they can just come and go whenever they feel like it.  I only know of one case in which a child was born without a sperm donor and that was the Son of the Most High God, Jesus Christ.

Woman of God, because of the fact that we give birth to children that can be a danger to Satan's kingdom of hell, Satan has his eyes on your children before they are even born.  Spiritual warfare for your children begin in your womb.  Jesus Christ has claim over your unborn child and because a child is born without sin, Satan's job is to attempt to persuade your children to deny the Lord from the time they are born until the time they leave this earth.  Because we are women, we are more emotional than men and believe it or not, it also makes us stronger.  There are too many mothers raising children as single parents.  I will not say that there are single mothers because there are no single mothers, if you are pregnant or have children, it did not happen without a man.  You have to take on the roll of both mother and father which were not God's intentions for woman, but it is what it is.  And because of your unfailing love for your children you do whatever you have to do to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads and clothes on their backs.  God's unfailing love for you, gives you strength and power to keep pushing forward even when you feel like fainting.

There will be many times that you will feel like you are about to lose your mind when it comes to be a good mother and taking care of yourself in the process.  There may be times where you feel like going in your bedroom, shutting the door and screaming to the top of your lungs, HELP ME JESUS!  I know that I have done that plenty of times, unknowing to my children.  But I made it.  God will give you power to keep pressing forward with your life and because He has plans for you and your children you will not faint.  He will give you strength in the midnight hour when you are struggling to make ends meet.  The bibles says, "Be not weary in doing well, for you shall reap, if you faint not".  Through everything that you can and will possibly go through with your children and spiritual walk with Christ, as long as you hold on to the Lord, He will see you through life's difficult moments.  You shall reap the benefits of what God has for you if you keep your heart fixed on Christ.

One Father's Day, my son called me and said, "Happy Father's Day".  He said he thought about the fact that he was raised without a father figure and didn't miss anything.  It is a shame that women have to be both mother and father, but I thank God that He knew beforehand that Satan would attempt to destroy what God values most (family) and the man as being the head of the household.  I want to challenge every woman reading this blog today, to pray for the father's of your children.  Pray for all the men in the prison's and pray for your son's.  God's plans for our men was not for them to be the tail but the head of the families.  Even if you and your children's father are not on speaking terms, pray for them because as long as Satan has our men, he will have a way of claiming our sons.  AMEN!

ABUSE IS NOT OKAY PT. 2 GET OUT AND STAY OUT

Woman of God, I cannot just talk about my domestic violence situation without letting you know how long it took me to finally get out and stay out.  I am going to expand a little bit about how I was able to get my life back in hopes that I can help and give hope to those that need it.  This scripture meant a lot to me through that time in my life.

(Matthew 11:28-30), "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy ladden and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

Mighty woman of God, the most important thing that I must relay to you is that the moment you decide to get out and stay out you will be in the most danger.  Because at that moment your abuser will realize that they are losing control or you.  Abuse is all about control.

I married him because I thought that I was stuck and didn't see a way out. He ruined any friendships I had tried to develop.  Once I started moving forward with Order of Protections, he still didn't take me serious because I had done that before.  But this time it was different.  Although I had an Order of Protection, he still came around my home and called my job everyday.  My employer was great.  They called the corporate office to find out what to do about my situation, instead of letting me go.  They provided protection for me.  He called the receptionist all day, cursing and threatening but the receptionist was just as mean as he was and she got a kick out of cursing him back.  I lived a life of fear and stopped going out to lunch because I was afraid of him catching me by myself.  I worked downtown Chicago and their are too many people to watch.  He threw a brick through my older sisters window and just walked away.  The Order of Protection was not good enough for me because the police don't believe that you are serious.  You have to let them know that you are serious by showing up for court every time you are suppose to go.  I was in court at least 5 times a month for awhile.  I was run off the Calumet Expressway in my car once and went to the police station on 115th and was told that they couldn't help me because it happened on the expressway, call the State Police.  He called DCFS several times claiming I was unfit and sold drugs.  They came by the house several times until one day the DCFS was there to hear him say he was coming to kill me, she left so fast and I never saw them again.  My house was broken into and trashed.  I called Dolton Police so many times they knew me by name.

Spend a lot of time in prayer with the Lord.  Trust God for your safety.  God is not short on His Word, He will give you rest.  You will become very weary going through the stay out process, but God's got your back, believe that!  Hold on to God with everything you got and God will fight your battle.  Trust God and pray all the time.  My abuser has lived a horrible life since I stayed out.  Prison has become a revolving door for him. He tried to keep me in prison, now look at what God has done.

The main thing is that I got out and stayed out.  So many times we fall for the "I love you" and flowers and tears that we don't stay out.  In order for you to stay out, you have to value your life and love yourself more than that person.  If you have children and you can't seem to love yourself more than him, love them more. That's what I did, loved my children enough to stay out.  I went through a lot more than those mentioned and it took a lot,  but eventually he got the message.  The saddest thing is that he met another girl, married her and did the same thing, he will never change.  I tried to warn her but like myself, she was afraid to leave.  Again, if you love this person, that okay, but love yourself more.  Say to yourself, "I love him . . . BUT, I LOVE MYSELF MORE.  If he is saying that he loves you, he probably does, the best way that he knows how, say to yourself, that's not good enough.  You need someone who knows how to love you.  GOD BLESS YOU!

STOLEN CHILDHOOD

Mighty woman of God, I thank the Lord for each of you.  As I am entering in my 2nd year of the Women's Ministry and posted daily blogs.  This ministry is built on the love of Christ Jesus, to give you hope and encourage you as you go through life's daily trials and troubles.

One day I was talking to a psychologist and I asked her what was the difference between sexual abuse and rape.  She told me that rape was an actual sex act and sexual abuse was just fondling or touching.  The spirit of perversion has been around a long time.  In the bible there is a story where angels were visiting a man and the men of the town found out and went to this man's house and demanded that the men be turned of to them so that they could have sex with them.  This man then offered his daughter to them.

Well, I disagree with that analysis.  I feel that if you are a child and someone that you are supposed to trust or even someone that you have not given permission to, has sex with you or is fondling your; it is rape.  If this has happened to you as a child, you will feel raped every time you see that person (especially if that person is a family member).  If you were raped you feel like you could have or should have done something to avoid that situation.  You could not have avoided it.  It it never your fault when a person takes advantage of you.

A woman has told me that she grew up in a household where she felt uncomfortable around a relative.  Because of the fear she had of that she had of this relative; she was manipulated as a young adult into sexual acts with him.  Sometimes you can have a lot of love for a relative that has stolen your childhood or you could have grown up with a relative that has always been mean and place a certain amount of fear in you all during your childhood.  It doesn't matter what age you were, because you have grown up with that relative in your life, either love or fear it determines your fate when you are taken advantage of.  I must also say this, a woman can be raped by another woman or a man, it does happen, more than you may think.

I say that your childhood was stolen because that person had no right to do something to you when your were not able to speak up for yourself.  What I am trying to say is that once this horrific act has happened to you, you will feel scared and alone in your mind.  Some people say that you become stuck at the age that you were when you were sexually abused.  You can go over it again and again but it still will not change the fact that your childhood was stolen from you.

Children are a blessing from God and are supposed to feel safe at all times.  Our parents are supposed to take care of us and that doesn't happen all the time.  In a perfect world maybe, but we don't live in a perfect world.  Satan has such a hold on people this day and age that men are deciding to take something that doesn't belong to them, without any conscience or remorse.

There are a lot of women in this ministry and I feel that this subject has to be addressed in order to comfort you and give you hope for a life freedom in your mind. If you are living with this type of spirit in your life and you have somehow pushed the incident as far back in your mind as you possibly can, it's time to be released from that person.  Pray to the Lord that He may release you from that person, pray that the spirit of perversion be bound and release the Spirit of Holines upon your life.  This is the worst type of soul tie that you could possibly live with and you need to pray for that person also.  Don't allow your childhood to destroy your adulthood.  Here's a prayer for you.

Heavenly Father, I pray for all the women in the ministry today.  Lord, I pray that those of them that has had their childhood stolen from them through sexual abuse that they be released and that Your Spirit comfort them and bring them peace in their mind.  Lord, I pray that the Spirit of Bondage and the Spirit of Perversion be bound in the name of Jesus Christ.  By the power of the Holy Spirit I speak that the Spirit of Adoption be released upon them in the name of Jesus Christ.  I speak a total release over them right now, by the power of the Holy Spirit they are free, I speak the Blood of Jesus Christ in their lives right now, in Jesus name, Amen.

Please remember to sign up for my upcoming event, May 25th in the Chicagoland area.  The Women's Conference is FREE!  I pray that all of you that should be there will be there.  God bless you!

SEXUAL SIN

Hello, Mighty woman of God!  When I first started blogging through this ministry, I promised to be honest at all times.  I have often given you my life story to inspire, encourage and comfort you. I want you to know that no matter what you have done, I have probably been there.  There is nothing that you can reveal to me that will make me judge you.  So here I go again, throwing myself under the bus.

(Isaiah 1:18), Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

The reason why that scripture is so important is that women tend to forget it.  We somehow think that there are sins that we commit are not forgiven by Jesus Christ.  Those your sins where red, once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, they are now white as snow.  You are the little lamb and Jesus is your shepherd.  No matter what sins your past holds, Jesus doesn't hold them against you.  Now here is the most important thing that you should remember, yesterday is yesterday.  Meaning it is now considered your past.

We as women often commit sexual sins.  Now this is not for the virgins out there.  Women sometimes uses their bodies to get what they want.  We also have premarital sex to please our boyfriends or as you would say, significant other.  We have booty calls and we also have sex with men that we don't even particularly care for.  Women always think about that sexual sin that we have done in the past or still might be partaking in now.  I am not ignorant to the fact that there are some of you are not married to the man that you are living with.  I am never judgmental, although my desire for you is that you someday get married and live under the will of God.  But until then, I realize that some may not be married.  For some reason society has made the woman out to be the bad guy when it comes to sexual sin.  For that reason we as women tend to think the same thing.  We think that God has forgiven us for our sins, but not that one. Not true.

Here's my testimony:  In my late 20s and 30's, I was very promiscuous.  I didn't care who I slept with as long as I had a good time.  I took a lot of chances with my life when it came to sex.  I enjoyed it very much and didn't care if the man was married or not.  In fact, I preferred a marry man because I didn't want to be bothered with them outside of sex.  Some of the men, I made give me money for my time.  Out of 4 marriages I cheated in 2 of them.  If a man that I was having sex with would claim they were in love, I dropped them like a hot potato.  I was not for the love thing, strictly sex.  I have had one night stands and didn't want to know the man's name.  I actually hurt a lot of men in the day and I was totally messed up . . . ignorant.  The term "love him and leave him" was my model.

I have told you this about myself to let you know that you can and will always be forgiven.  Your testimony can be a blessing to someone else.  I pray that my testimony will be a blessing to some of you.  God has changed me all around.  Because of God, I can hold my head up, no matter what I've done in the past.  I am truly blessed by God and I know that the Holy Spirit doesn't hold my past over my head to keep me from moving forward in the ministry or the Body of Christ.  My sexual sins where truly red as crimson but now white as snow, forgiven and forgotten.  Don't allow Satan to mislead you into thinking that you are not good enough for ministry work for God because of your sexual sins.  Allow the Holy Spirit to love on you and lead you in the right direction for the glory of God.  Don't allow so-called Christians or friends get up in your business by telling you that you are living in sin. They should mind their own business because most likely you know what you are doing and so does God.  You don't need anyone to point your sins out.  Pray, the only one that you should allow to judge you is the Holy Spirit.  Don't misunderstand me, I am not condoning sex before marriage, I am just being realistic.  PRAISE GOD!

ABUSE IS NOT OKAY

My prayer for you today is that you receive this message out of the love that I am sending it to you.  I pray that the Lord will bless you with a spirit of peace.  God bless you!

Woman of God, many of you in the ministry are hiding your pain very well to the public but not from God.  I want you o keep an open mind as He speaks to you today.

(Psalms 23: 1-4), You are in a deep valley.  You can see no way out.  You go to church and work hiding behind a superficial smile.  You greet everyone you know with a smile but deep inside you are in so much pain, you're feel trapped in a deep valley.  You have no friends because that man has made sure that they don't come around anymore.  He has to make sure that you are controlled in every way.

I used to see couples holding hands and showing loving affection towards one another and I would wish that was me.  I couldn't watch people on television happy because it would only make me cry and wish that someone loved me like that.  I stayed because of promised and thinking that I should stay with him because of the years that I had put in that relationship.  I had made up in my mind that I should try to work it out with my abuser and I married him.

I've been there and I had to admit to myself that I was not strong enough to leave because I thought that I was in love.  I thought that things would get better.  I finally decided that I had to be strong enough for my children.  After numerous police report, Order of Protection, threats, going to a shelter and looking over my shoulder, I finally made it out.  One day my he came to my house and my new husband went outside to confront him and I watched my ex-husband run.  I did not expect that.  I found out that my abuser was really a coward.

Mighty woman of God, you are not supposed to be shaken, pushed, hit, kicked or knock down.  That is never a sign of love.  I always say that battered women are in the closet more than anybody else.  You don't talk about your relationship at the water cooler or to your friends.  You think that you are going to be called stupid for putting up with a man that beats on you.  You feel humiliated and ashamed of yourself.  Never in a million years did you think that your life would turn out like this.

Woman of God, if you are in an abusive relationship, acknowledge it to yourself, pray for God's protection and get out.  By any means necessary.  Don't think about the items you will leave behind, God will give it all back to you and more.  Believe that.  It's okay to say to yourself, "I love him".  Try saying "I love him, but".  But I have to leave.  When my ex-husband would say, "I love you", I said to myself, "He probably does, the best that he knows how, but that is not good enough for me".  I have been where you are and I know it's not easy to get out and stay out but that kind of relationship is very toxic and it will lead to nothing more than you living a life of misery, not him.  GOD BLESS YOU!

Heavenly Father, I pray for the women that are going through an abusive relationship.  I pray that you give them the strength to come out and stay out.  I pray that they may live under your divine protection at all times.  By the power of the Holy Spirit, I come against the spirit of confusion, I come against the spirit of heaviness and loose a spirit of praise in their lives today, in Jesus name, Amen!

HE WILL CALM YOUR STORMS

Mighty woman of God, I thank God for each of you for keeping me lifted up and for reading my daily blogs.  The purpose of me doing these blogs with a scripture is to bring to life the scriptures and give you a fresh revelation that God is the same yesterday, today and forever more.  The sames promises and blessings that God gave to people in the bible are still for you today.  God's main purpose of the blogs is for you to be able to apply the scriptures to what you are facing in today's world of uncertainty, trial, sorrows and joy.  I am also letting you know that I don't just type anything out of my head, I am led by the Holy Spirit each time I post a blog.  God knows what you are in need of and it is always my joy when you have been touched by the words that I have been anointed to write.  God also gives me the catchy titles to grasp your attention.

(Matthew 8:23-27), And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.  And, behold, there arose a great tempest in he sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves but he was asleep.  And his disciples came to him; and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us; we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Woman of God, the Lord knows what you are going through even before you get there.  He is able to rebuke the storms of your life.  There are times that you are sitting and waiting for Jesus to make a move on your behalf.  You've been a storm for some times now, you've prayed every prayer that you could possibly pray, you've labored in worship until you just couldn't lay anymore, you've spoken to your situation over and over again and still you have found no peace.  What do you do?  What do you do when everything that you touch seem to melt away.  What do you do when you feel like you are going to lose your mind if Jesus doesn't step in soon?  What do when you feel like you just can't take one more final notice, need a little bit more time before you give a 5 days notice, just needed one more paycheck before you were let go?  The bible says, when you have done all you can, stand.  But what do you do when you feel like your legs can no longer hold you up?

The answer to all those questions is HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH!  Believe that Christ came to calm all your storms.  Believe that He is God and has the power to do exceedingly and abundantly all that you could ever dream or hope for in your life.  Have faith that Jesus is in the midst of your storm.  He is right there with you and He will not let you fall.  When things seem to be so bad, hold on, because Jesus always has a ram in the bush.  All things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.  So when it seems like things are not working out the way that you have planned, remember that it will always work out for your good.  I know that it is hard to see the calm seas when the waves are overshadowing that calmness.  It's always hard to see the Lord working all things out for your good when you have a plan of how it should be going.  But I say to you today, Have faith through your storm and watch Jesus rebuke the winds and you will be at peace no matter what you are facing.  PRAISE BE TO GOD THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!  AMEN

Please remember to sign up for the Women's Conference in May.  I will be in the Chicagoland area (Lansing), May 25th to fellowship, praise, worship with you.  Sign up for a great time in the Lord and I know that God has a blessing for you, don't miss out. I love you with the love of the Lord my sisters in Christ Jesus.

DON'T BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF

Mighty woman of God, My prayer is that this is a very timely message for you.  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ.  May you find favor in the eyes of those that persecute you with words that are harmful.

(John 13:38), Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.  (John 18:17), Then saith the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Art not thou also one of this man's disciples? He saith, I am not.

Jesus knew that Peter would deny Him three times in one day.  Peter told Jesus that He was wrong and that he would never deny Him.  Once Jesus was imprisoned, Peter followed behind Him, but when Peter was asked if he was one of Jesus' follower, Peter said no.  Three times, within 10 minutes Peter was asked the same question and his answer was no.

Woman of God, don't be so hard on yourself.  There are many times when we say or do things that we promised God we would never do, or stop doing.  Peter had a heart for Jesus.  God knows you have a heart for Him.  God knows that you are not purposely sinning.  God knows all of your shortcomings and mistakes that you will make your entire lifetime, yet He still loves you.  As long as you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the bible says that your sins that were once red have been washed by the blood of Jesus and made white as snow.  You have to believe this in your heart and innermost being.  If you doubt for one second, that your sins aren't covered, you will be hard on yourself whenever you mess up.

However, this does not give you the license to sin.  It is not a free pass to sin.  There were plenty of times that I have broken promises that I have made to God.  I promised to stop smoking, calling my husband a name, spend more time in worship and a lot of other things.  My heart is always willing but sometimes, just sometimes my flesh is not.  There will be times that you just cannot get your flesh to agree with your spirit.  This is when God's mercy and grace comes in handy.   Deliverance takes time and God's grace and mercy is all you need.

God is well aware of your heart's desire to please Him.  He is not taking notes on how many times you make a mistake or break a promise.  God already knew that you would.  The thing about that is you are at least attempting to try to live righteous.  Don't be so hard on yourself.  Imagine how awful Peter must have felt by denying Christ.  Peter was scared and he should have been. Once Jesus was resurrected He told Peter all was well.  He didn't hold it against Peter.  Don't be so hard on yourself, Jesus died on the cross so that you can live free from all condemnation.  AMEN!
