Mighty Woman of God, I pray that you are in a joyous place in your life today.  I speak blessings of peace and love upon your life and your family.

(Proverbs 23:13-14), Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die. Punish him with the rod and save his soul from death. (Proverbs 29:15:17), The rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother. Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul. (Proverbs 10:1), A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
The book of Proverbs was written by Solomon through the Spirit of God, emphasizing the acceptable moral and religious behavior of God’s people.  Wisdom is described as the most desirable possession of humankind.  He who gets wisdom pleases both God and people, lives successfully in this life, and obtains favor from the Lord.  The major theme of the Book of Proverbs is wisdom and self-discipline.

When toddlers at their crawling stage, you have to keep your eye on them because they are very quick and might put objects in their mouths that could potentially harm them.  You cover wall sockets to keep them safe and you might lightly tap their hand, letting them know that something is wrong or could be dangerous.

We are a generation where social media and websites are an essential part of communication.  I understand that no one wants to be told how to raise their children.  So, I will just say, in my opinion that is partly what is wrong with this generation of children growing up today.  Parents are supposed to guide their children in order to make them productive in this society and keep them safe.

There is a reason why certain programs and video games are labeled “for mature adults only or 13 or older.”  You should be concerned about the types of television programs and videos games that your children are exposed to.  Children learn by what they observe and hear.  I don't find it funny when a three year old starts using profanity.   I don't want to beat you down today, but I just want you to save you and your children from a life of darkness.  Believe me when I tell you, your children will get plenty of worldly advice when they leave the home.  Satan had his eyes set on your child from the day that they were born. Why should you just hand them over to him?  At least put up a good fight.  It’s too late to become a role model for your children when they become teenagers.

The bible says that an unruly child is heaviness to his mother.  This means that if you allow the social media to raise your children, they will become heaviness on your heart.  You never stop being a mother which means you will never stop wanting what’s best for them.  If your child starts doing drugs, selling drugs, end up in an abusive relationship or other disruptive behavior they will become heavy on your heart.  You will be constantly worried about their well-being and safety.  If your child leaves home and attends college, you will still be concerned about them and their safety, but as the scripture says, and unruly child brings heaviness to their mother.  Not so much the child that has not been spared the rod.  There have been plenty of times that I have taken oil and placed it on my children’s heads while they were sleeping.  My oldest son didn’t need the rod past the age of five.  My daughter needed a little help every now and then, and my youngest son needs more correction than both of them.

Woman of God, pray for our children every day, pray that God would put people in their lives that will be able to contribute something good and valuable in the friendship.  Pray for your children’s teachers, and their surroundings.  Don’t be afraid to discipline your children, you are not supposed to be their friend you are their parent.  Not all children need the rod, but sometimes, they just might.  Once that unruly child grows up, he will make your heart heavy and you will be the one on stress medication.

When it comes to your children, you have to be as wise as a serpent.  The bible say, “Train up a in the way that they should go and when they are gone they should not depart from that.”  Now they may go the wrong way for a moment, but if you have given them Godly wisdom, have tried your best to raise them in a loving household and have disciplined them when it was needed, they will find their way back to home to Christ; which should be your ultimate goal for them.  At a certain point in their life you are going to have to trust God for them.  Trusting the Lord for your children’s safety and well-being can sometimes be very difficult because Satan owns this world.  I too have trouble in that area of my life when it comes to trusting the Lord for my children but I am learning how to do that now.  GOD BLESS YOU, THANK YOU FOR READING!

So far, I only have 13 women that have sign up for my upcoming event on May 25th, I would like to think that more of you would like to attend the Womens Conference, so don't forget to sign in on events, times a ticking.  If only 13 women are in attendance, I will trust God for those chosen few.  I love each of you and my desire for you is that you are comforted and encouraged through the Word of God and prayer.  The conference is FREE, so come on out for fellowship, snacks and a blessing from the Lord Jesus Christ.  God bless you!
