MOVING MOUNTAINS

Good morning, Mighty woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord.  Accept God's grace and mercy in all that you do today and glorify Him in everything that you do today.

(Mark 11:23-24), "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain.  'Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.  "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Do you ever get a chance to really look at mountains?  If you really look at them you will notice that not one mountain is the same.  They are like fingerprints, none are the same.  Mountains were made by God, but after God created the mountains, they eventually began to take different forms all on their own.  As the earth shifts and nature takes its course, some boulders and rocks fall off of them.  Giving them a different form.  Mountains cannot be moved unless you have the right type of machinery to move them.  Some are higher than others, some have to deal with a lot of snow and some a lot of rain.  But again, to move a mountain, you have to have the right equipment.

God created man, perfectly, but after God created us we eventually began to take on different forms.  We have different characteristics, different struggles, different things in our lives that we know are not God's plan for our lives.  Just like mountains, we shift whenever things of this world shifts.  Just like those mountains, our sinful nature cannot be removed easily.  It takes the right equipment to move the mountains out of our way.  In order to have the right equipment, you have to have Jesus Christ in your life.  Jesus Christ is the right equipment.  If you don't have Jesus, you can forget about moving mountains.  The second thing that you must have to move certain situations out of your life is no doubt in your heart, you have to believe.  The next thing that you need to move your mountain is prayer and again, belief.  Then and only then will you have what you say you will have.

There is a two-part to the above scripture.  First Jesus says, if you say to that mountain in your life be cast into the sea and do not doubt in your heart.  That's the first thing that you need to take care of.  You have to be able to speak those things in existence as thou it has already happened or is getting ready to happen.  The next thing you have to remember is that you cannot have any doubt that God is going to move that mountain (whatever you are dealing with) out of your way.  You cannot say be thou removed and in your heart you are saying, "I wonder if it will happen".  In other words, you have to know that you know, in your heart that God is working on your mountain.  (23 verse), Whatever things you pray, believe and you shall receive them.  This scriptures is first saying pray, then believe, then get ready to receive.  Again, He is saying you have to believe, you have to have faith.

Sometimes God will not move your mountain (your situation) because He wants you to be able to climb over it.  It is easy for God to move your mountain but if you have strength to climb over it then you will be a stronger person after you have gone through all that you could to defeat that mountain.  Sometimes you should pray that God gives you the strength to climb it.  If God moves your mountain you would not have the experience as to how you can make it.  That way when you encounter another mountain in your life, you will have the strength to move it yourself.  It will be like saying, "oh yeah, I've had this problem before, I know exactly what to do".

I watch people on television climbing a mountain.  They seem to be going through a lot to get to the top but when they reach the top, they stand on top of that mountain so happy that they conquered it.  They have all types of equipment to make sure that on the way up they don't fall down.  Jesus Christ is your right equipment and on the way up your mountain He will make sure that you don't fall down.  You will reach the top and will have defeated the enemy that was trying to keep you from climbing.  AMEN!

My sisters and daughters in Christ Jesus, don't forget to sign up for the upcoming Women's Conference in Lansing, Ill at the Extended Stay Hotel, on Saturday, May 25th.  This event is FREE of charge.  Come on out for fellowship, food and a mighty move of God.  Hope to see you there!  God bless you.
