Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

(Psalms 46:1-3) God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.  (Psalms 27:5) For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.

Peter notices Jesus walking on water. Peter says to Jesus, "If it is you Lord tell me to come to you on the water.” Jesus tells him to come and Peter begins walking toward Jesus.  But then Peter noticed the wind and he was afraid and began to sink, he cried out to the Lord and IMMEDIATELY Jesus reached out his hand and caught him then says, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

You are able to see the wind and the storm in your life. But do you see Jesus? As the wind blows harder, don't take your eyes off of Jesus. Peter had the faith to step out, but he lost his faith as soon as the winds picked up. He saw the wind, which means he took his eyes of Jesus.

We all go through storms in our lives. At times it could be so windy that we can't see what's right in front of us, bidding us to keep going.  Imagine being in the desert and a sand storm comes.  From what I've been told you can't see your hand in front of you. The sand can be so hard on you it can cause death if you don't find shelter.

From the Old Testament to the New Testament, God's word never changes.  The above scriptures say that even when everything that you are being challenged with; keep going.  Don't pay any attention to the devil that roaring like the sea.  Don't pay any attention to the devil that's throwing stones to make you want to give up; you keep on going.  I replace the word thee in the scripture to me.  Make it personal when you read that scripture.  When you make it personal it kind of will make you hold your head up a little bit higher and stick your chest out.

Keep your eyes on the Lord and when you feel like you don't feel his presence trust in His promise. You may be going through a storm in your life right now. You can't see your way out. The walls seem to be closing in on everything around you. You feel like throwing in the towel. Through all of this the Lord wants to remind you that if you cry out, IMMEDIATELY, He will catch you.  Take a deep breath and give God a chance. I mean really give Him a chance. Not just for today's problems but for tomorrows promise. LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for Your strength in my life.  Lord I want to walk in Your peace and joy on today.  Whatever is troubling me today, I now let go and give them to You.  The battle is not mines, it's Yours.  Lord Jesus as I go through the storms in my life, I will continue to have faith in You, that you are stilling the waters, so that I can continue to walk, in Jesus name, Amen.
