GOD'S UNMERITED FAVOR

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that you are blessed by today's message and that you will understand and receive God's best.

 

(Isaiah 55:12-13), You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.  Instead of the thorn bush will grow the pine tree, and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.

 

My Testimony: Since the 911 incident, the states laws changed the way that you can either get your drivers license or state I.D.  You have to have your birth certificate, marriage license, and at least two pieces of mail with your name and address.

 

Being married four times was definitely no help for me.  According to MAN MADE laws, I needed my birth certificate, marriage license for each husband and divorce documents for each husband.  That is the way that the law is set up they will not give you a license or state I.D. without those documents.  I used to have all those documents a couple of years ago but a house fire destroyed all of those documents.  I would have to pay for all those documents from each state that I was married in.  The hardest part for me was my second husband because those where the years that I spent doing heavy drugs and I couldn't remember anything about that marriage.

 

Anyway, yesterday I decided to try to get my I.D. with just the documents that I had which was definitely not as much as on that list.  I prayed at home and I spoke the favor of the Lord all the way to the DMV.  I even prayed for the teller that was going to put my information in the system.  So I get to the DMV and already two things are not in my favor. First my number was 449 and they were only one 390.  The second thing was I forgot my social security card.  How could I forget that? 

 

A lady began shouting out last minute instructions and telling people that they should go home and not waste their time if they did not have all the documents.  I have several documents with my social security number, but not the card.  I start praying.  The lady says do form a line if you want her to look over your documents, so I get in line.  The teller calls me to the front, I show her my documents and she said that I had to have my SSCard.  So I sat down and my husband started leaving to get the card.  Then all of a sudden the teller calls me up to her and tells me that my Medicare Card is sufficient enough and tell my husband not to leave.  She took my number 449, threw it in the garbage, told the girl next to her to take my information next.

 

THAT IS THE FAVOR OF THE LORD.  When we do everything in our power to follow man made laws and to no avail, we are turned down.  That is the time to remember that we are in the world, not of the world and the FAVOR of the Lord will always trump man made laws every time.  THAT'S GODS GRACE.

 

Heavenly Father, I thank You for grace and mercy towards me. Thank you Father that You will always do exceedingly and above all that I could ever dream of.  Father as I am guided by Your Spirit today, I pray that I am walking in Your favor.  Thank you for reminded me that You are far bigger than any man made laws.  I love for what you are doing for me in my walk with You, and if you never do anything else for me, Lord You have already done enough, when You gave Your life for me.  In Jesus name, Amen!

BAGGAGE

Hello Ladies, I wish you all a Happy New Year.  I pray that you are blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit.  I love you all with the love of the Lord.

Please remember that the 2nd Annual Women's Conference is approaching.  I know that it seems like its far away, but when it comes to the things of God, I am very efficient because God wants everything to be decent and in order.  So, I want to make sure that the conference room is big enough for everyone to be comfortable and I want to make sure that I have enough gifts.  Even if you think you can make it sign in and if something changes with your schedule then decline, but I hope not.

(Matthew 11:28-30), Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light".

The Lord's burden is light.  Meaning, He won't put more on you than you can bare.  Let me say that again, HE won't.  So that does not mean that other people in your life won't put more on you than you can bare.  That person doesn't care about how much you can bare, they will just keep trying to stuff more of their mess into your baggage.  And single moms, you already have children that you have to take care of, why accept someone else's baggage?  I watch a lady try to stuff and rearrange her baggage so that it could fit in the overhead compartment.  That is what some women are doing, trying to stuff your baggage with someone's stuff. 

I used to call myself a married single mom.  I say that because although I was married, my husband at the time was no good.  He was a cheater and a beater.  And his baggage was very heavy and the burdens that I bore while being married to him was not light.

Woman of God, some men know when they have a good woman, a woman of integrity and value.  He also know that you are the kind of woman that will always take care of your children.  No matter what happens, you will always find a way to keep a roof over your head and food in the cabinet.  So he counts on you being a good mother and provider.  That type of man will stay with you, even though he is out running the streets.  Even if you decide to move, he will start acting like he got some sense, long enough for him to be included in on your future plans.  That type of man, doesn't have a planned future, but he know that you do.  That type of man is counting on you to be you, a good mother and provider for her children.

Women are very emotional creatures, a lot of times we follow our hearts.  The bible says that we don't even know our own hearts, God does know our hearts.  That is why prayer and having a relationship with Jesus Christ is very important.  Trust the Lord for your mate.  If your baggage becomes your burden, then maybe it's time for you to lighten the load.  Stop, take a deep breath and start rearranging and even throwing  some things in your life that are heavy burdens.  If you keep that man's baggage that does not fit with your, then you are taking a chance that you won't be able to get to your destination because you have too much baggage.

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for who your are and what you have done in my life.  I pray dear Lord that you keep me from carrying burdens that I cannot bare.  Your burdens are light and I am praying that you help me to lighten my baggage.  Father I don't what to live a life where I am carrying someone else's burden that don't care about me or my well-being.  Heavenly Father, my desire is to follow after you and allow the Holy Spirit to teach and guide me.  In Jesus name, Amen!

THE LIGHTHOUSE

I pray that you are well and that you have had a joyous holiday.  I thank God you and continue to pray for you daily.

(Psalms 119:105), Your Word is a lamp unto my feet.

(Psalms 27: 1), The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?

(John 8:12), When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Lighthouse - A tall structure topped by a powerful light used as a signal or beacon to aid marine navigation.

Navigate - To record, plan or control the position and course of a ship or aircraft. To follow a planned course on, across, or through.

Hold on now, I'm going somewhere with this.  I just need to set the stage.  If I were to put those two definitions together, I would say that a lighthouse is a large powerful structure used to keep ships on course.  I can also use those definitions to say, "Jesus Christ is a powerful Light that can keep us on course or guide us to follow the plan that He has for us; before we were born.

If I were to describe how my life used to be without Jesus Christ navigating me through the windstorms of my life, I would say that I was lost at sea.  I could not see His beacon of ling to put my life back on the planned course.  I couldn't see His powerful Light that eventually guided me through my drug addiction.  I couldn't see the Lord holding back the raging sea of physical abuse (that could have killed me) so that I could passed safely through the waters.

I have seen movies where a ship was lost at sea, and it was too dark for the captain to tell how far it was for them to reach land and suddenly there is a powerful beacon of light shining bright enough to navigate the captain to the dock.

Woman of God, when you are going through difficult times and your circumstances seem too dark to bare; trust the Lord to navigate, and keep watch over you.  He will guide you to the Light (Himself) safely.  Just because you don't see the Light doesn't mean that He is not there.  Maybe you need to change your course and follow the Lord's  plan.  Maybe you are at the point where the Lord is telling you to stay on course, but you can't see Him.  The Lord's message for you today is to stay on course, follow His plan for your life and you will see His powerful Light that is navigating your through the dark seas.  You see, Jesus Christ's Light is stronger than your darkness.  Amen!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to be my Light.  My prayer today, Father is that you continue to be my guiding Light.  Everywhere my footstep travel You Lord are with me.  I thank you Lord that through the rough seas of my life, You are with me.  I know Lord that you will never leave nor forsake me through my darkest hours.  I love you Lord, I pray Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit that I walk in a Spirit of Peace right now, in Jesus Name, Amen.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH FOR WOMEN MINISTRY

Hello, Mighty Woman of God!

I am so excited to say that as of January 1, 2014, "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry", has been in existence for 2 years.  I cannot believe that from the Lord giving me instructions to start a blog, that a women's ministry would be birthed.  The ministry has grown from 10 to over 150 in that time.

I would like to that all of you ladies, my friends, my daughters and my sisters in Christ Jesus, for allowing me to come into your lives and homes.  Without you, there would be no ministry.  You have supported me and keep me doing what the Lord wanted me to do.  I have gotten to know some of you through personal prayer, praying on the phone, or just sending a message of encouragement and hope.  I pray that you have found that I have been truthful and open through my blogs.  I pray that you have been encouraged and comforted and have been given hope to you.  And as promised, I have never spread your business on Facebook.

Now in the upcoming year, the Lord is going to do a new thing within the daily blogs.  How many of you believe that God wants you free in every area of your life?  I will still be using the scriptures in the bible as a guide.  But God wants you to be perfected in your marriage, finances, children, etc. I don't claim to be an expert in any of those subjects but I will just tell you what worked for me.

IT IS WHAT IT IS

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ over your and your family and may the Lord continue to walk with you as you seek after Him.

 

(Isaiah 55:8-11), For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.  As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.  As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth:  It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

 

This morning, while in my prayer time I had some questions for the Lord regarding the assignment that He gave to me two days ago.  I am a Prophetess of the Lord so you would like that I would be able to recognize and hear the Lord clearly but sometimes I do ask for confirmation.  I don't tell the Lord how to go about giving me a clear understand, I just wait.  Anyway, as I prayed about the message for today, the Lord gave me the scripture for today.  And as I began typing the scripture, I got my answer, my confirmation given to me in the WORD of GOD, the BIBLE!  I am going to use me as an example of what the Lord is telling us today.

 

God told me that I put Him in a box when it comes to Him blessing me with everything that He has for me.  Now, keep in mind that God's riches and blessings doesn't necessarily mean that I will get a lot of money, not at all.  There are so many other aspects of my life that I need to be blessed.  But my problem is not fully trusting in God.  I do have faith that if God said it, He will do it.  Sometimes we know in our heart that God can bless us with our needs and wants, our problems is will He do it, not can He do it.  Sometimes we put God in a box, without even realizing it, even the most seasoned woman of God can make that mistake.

 

Often times we put ourselves in a box when it comes to the things of God.  We know that He can do exceedingly and above all that we can ever think, but will He do it for you.  When we ourselves are in a box, we also put God in a box.  In this world, we often look at our situation or circumstances as the world does; not with our spiritual eye.  Sometimes we say to ourselves, "It is what it is".  Meaning we tend to accept things the way they are because other people, places, or things are controlling what we think is the best thing.  Let's put it this way, we accept the doctor's bad report.  We accept the fact that the computer says our credit is too bad to get a house or other things.  We accept the fact that we are in a bad and toxic relationship because we don't see ourselves as doing any better.  The term, "It is what it is", should not be said uttered out of your mouth if you have faith in God.  "It is what it is", should be rephrased to say, "It is, what God says it is".

 

Mighty woman of God, study the above scripture because God has an answer for you, just like He had a confirmation for myself.  Your answer is in that scripture.  I don't know who it is but God says, "Study that scripture, my daughter".

 

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise You for Your word on today.  Father, I pray that Your forgive me for not trusting fully in You and Lord the times when I start to limit You, I pray that You continue to speak to my heart.  And Lord that you are a light unto my feet and I thank You for Your Spirit that You gave to me to teach me in all of Your ways.  Lord I thank You for not getting in that box with me and remaining me that Your thoughts are far greater than anything I can ever think of and Your ways are not man's way.  In Jesus name, Amen!

GOD'S ALREADY THERE!

The Lord gave me a revelation on today's message.  It is definitely a blessing for me, because the message was for me.  I just had to listen and allow the Lord to tie the scriptures together for me.  So I will do the same for you.

 

(Exodus 14:13-14, Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid.  Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.  The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.  The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.

 

(Exodus 14:19-20), Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them.  The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel.  Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

 

The Israelites had not knowledge about the God that Moses served.  In fact, Moses didn't clearly understand God either.  But the more that Moses followed God's instructions and actually saw God miracles, he began to understand, know and have a close relationship with God.  He also realized that the God he served was much more powerful that any man. 

 

In Exodus 14: 10-12, the Israelites began complaining to Moses that the Egyptian army was close behind them and they felt that Moses' God lead them to their death.  The were at the point where they felt that they should have stayed slaves to the Egyptians.  They wanted to be free but they were unwilling to listen to the commands of God.

 

Read the first scriptures above, God is saying to you "Don't be afraid of what you see or what you may encounter along the way".  STAND FIRM and you will see God do some miraculous things in your life.  The same God that Moses served is the same God today.  Also God is saying to you, "He will fight your battles and the issues, deliverance and health problems that you have today, you will have no more".  The people that are mistreating you and laughing behind your back will be no more".  Don't complain and think that God is not moving on your behalf.

 

The Holy Spirit gave me this for me and you about the next scriptures, Exodus 14:19-20.  We cannot see the angel of the Lord that is right in front of us.  So we try to do God's work for Him.  There was an angel of the Lord that was leading the Israelites the whole time.  There was a pillar of cloud also with them to keep them out of darkness and keep the light shining over them.  As the enemy got closer, the angels of God, got instructions from God to move and go behind the Israelites to keep the enemy at a safe distance for them.  They didn't even notice the angel or the cloud that was with them.

 

God says, "Even though you don't see Him right in front of you, just believe and know that He is.  Even though it may seem as though the enemy is closing in on you, God has an angel right in place to continue to give you His light, and keep the enemy in back of you.  Even though you don't see how your situation can get any better, the Spirit of the Living God is going before you and will always be your guide".

 

This is the scripture that the Holy Spirit gave me to pray for us today. This scripture also ties into the above scripture.  (Psalms 119:105-112).

 

Heavenly Father, You word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.  I have taken an oath and confirmed it, that I will follow your righteous laws.  I have suffered much; preserve my life, O Lord, according to Your word.  Accept, O Lord, the willing praise of my mouth, and teach me your laws.  Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law.  The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.  Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.  My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.  In Jesus name, Amen!

TURN-UPS

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I speak blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior over you and your household.  And that you prosper spiritually and physically as you follow after Him.

 

(Matthew 7:1-5) Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your sister's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your sister's eye.

 

TURN-UPS, no I didn't misspell the word.  What are "turn-ups" you ask?  Well, to some of you, it's not a good message if the Holy Spirit begins to tug at you.  But all messages are always out of love.

 

"Turn-ups" are people who turn up their noses at other people, like they ain't never been through nothing themselves.  "Turn-ups" are people that forgot they weren't born saved and even if they were they still have sinned. "Turn-ups" are the type of people that have nothing else to do all day but to continuously watch you and wait for you to mess up.

 

I don't need anyone around me that has not been in the dirt at some point in their lives.  I don't need anyone around me that act like they don't experience having marital problems.  They act like for the 15 years they have been married, they have never said anything or done anything wrong to their spouse.  I don't need anyone around me that will "turn-up" their nose if I ask for prayer because I deal with depression or panic attacks.  I don't need anyone around me that will "turn-up" their nose if they see me drink a glass of wine in a restaurant.  Or maybe heard me say something that won't be pleasing to God.  I don't need anyone around me that will try to make me feel any less of an Evangelist or Prophet of God, because they heard me get loud with someone.  I don't need anyone around me that I can't talk to in secret and then tell someone else.  People don't put themselves upon a pedestal because of a title in front of their names, you try to put people there.  And if they don't live up to your expectations, you become a "turn-up".

 

What I do need is someone that will have no problems, saying, "you know you are wrong", and still mean it out of love.  I do need someone around me that can say, "I've been where you are, things will get better".  I do need someone around me that will say, "I have trouble in that area of my life too".  I do need someone around me that will say, "Let's pray, right now", not I'll call you later, or I will put in a good word for you.  What I do need is someone that knows I'm going through some things without even telling them, because they are in tune with not only me, but God.

 

If you have read my bio attached with my blog or have read the back of my book, you will notice that I am not at all shamed of the life that I came from.  Just don't you act like you haven't came from some place too.  Cause if you are a "turn-up" Christian you are still in denial and a huge target for the enemy to use.  So the next time you think about  "turning-up" your nose and laughing at someone else in need, think back over your life, some of you don't have to think back to far.  To be a fly on the wall in your house will reveal that you are still dealing with some things too.

 

I think that one of the reasons why people are so judgmental of others is so the focus will be off of them and their bad behavior.  You try to justify your bad behavior by saying, "Nobody's perfect".  You think that's an excuse.  But you won't extend that "nobody's perfect" gesture to the one that you constantly "turn-up" your nose at.

 

I heard a saying one time that goes a little bit like this:  You don't have to call your best friend when you are in trouble, because she is right there with you.

 

Heavenly Father, I pray that You forgive me of all my sins.  Not just the ones that I am willing to say aloud but even the ones that are on my heart and mind.  Forgive me Father if I have not been a good steward over the friendships that You have blessed me with.  Father I pray that You create in me a clean heart and a right spirit, of one that You can use.  I realize that You cannot use me, if I am speaking and acting unpleasing to You.  I love You Lord and I want to be forgiven of all my sins, in Jesus name, Amen.
