HE LOVES ME . . . HE LOVES NOT

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I bless the Lord Jesus Christ for each of you in the ministry.  Thank you for your support and reading my daily messages.  I pray that you have been released from at least some of the issues that have kept you spiritually bound.

Do you remember collecting flowers and you would pick off each pedal saying, "He loves me, he love me not"?  If the pedal did not land on "he loves me", you would pick another flower and start all over again until you landed on "he loves me"

Now, it's time for the message, it might be a little brutal, but I pray that you are helped in some kind of way.  Some of you are treating your relationships just like those flower pedal.  You throw one man and pick up another one right away, ending up with the same results.  You just continue picking the wrong man.  At some point in your mind you think to yourself, "Why do I keep picking the wrong man?"  It seems like you have a sign on your forehead that says, "You can treat me like crap".  As soon as you are rid of one man, you never give yourself time to get over that relationship before you begin another one.  That is your first mistake.  If you have been in a relationship with a man that you were in love with, you need to take some time for yourself to heal.  But you don't do that, you are sucked right away into another relationship that will ultimately fell.

Some of you are in abusive relationships and you know it but you will not acknowledge it to yourself.  You make excuses as to why that man of yours acts the way that he does.  If you get out of that type of relationship, you need to give yourself time for your heart to heal.  If you continue to stay in that relationship then you are setting yourself up for a life of long disappointments.  Any man that is abusive will never change.  I know.  You cannot change that man.  Some women get involved with the wrong type of man, knowingly, but the thought in your mind is that you will somehow change his ways, because you think he's cute.

Some of you are in relationships with a man that stays away from home for a considerable amount of days and you allow this type of behavior to continue.  You think that if you do this, or that, he will stop going out altogether.  You are sadly mistaken.  The more bad behavior that you put up with the more you will get.  If you keep doing what you are doing, you will keep getting what you are getting.  You main reason for allowing that man to stick around is that you don't want to be lonely or you are so in love.  If you are in love with that type of behavior, then I must say, you don't think too much about yourself.

You are the most important person in your life.  You are a woman of value and you are allowing someone else to pull your strings.  You need to be jealous over yourself, not over some man.  If you need to check emails and phone messages, you are in the wrong relationship.  You need to believe that God wants the best for you.  The Lord does not want you to be a victim of any man.  God is a jealous God, and you are putting that man before Him.  How?  Because you are allowing that relationship to overcome your relationship with God.  The bible says, "put no man before God".

Again, love is an action word. If you are in a relationship with a man that is not showing you, by his actions that he loves you, then you are selling yourself short.  You are accepting less than you deserve.  I realize that it is sometimes hard to leave a relationship that you have been in for a long time, but think on the fact that you have been mistreat that long.  Flowers, candy and dinners don't constitute love, especially if after all that he doesn't come home or is abusive when he is at home.  You know that if a man doesn't come home all night he is sleeping somewhere no matter what story he comes up with, you just buy into the story.  If you have to check emails, facebook or phones then you are in the wrong relationship, "he loves you not".

There is only one relationship that you can be in and be sure that "he love you" without picking pedals is a relationship with Jesus Christ.  Get yourself in a relationship with God, he will never fail.
Amen!

WELL DONE . . . SERVANT

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for each of you and the ministry.  My prayer is that you are being spiritually fed daily and you are developing a closer relationship with the Lord, Jesus Christ.

(Matthew 25:21) At the end of the age when we are face to face with God, we all want Him to say well done my good and faithful servant. In this verse, Jesus tells a parable of a master telling his servant that he was good and faithful with a few things, and hence will be given even more.

When you see Jesus face to face, what will He say to you?  God has given you talents, spiritual gifts and treasures, what are you doing with them?
Woman of God, you have been given a talent that God has placed on the inside of you from the time that you were born.  Your talent could be singing, teaching, writing, playing musical instrument or some other talent.  Whatever your talent is, you don't have to dig deep to find it.  It shows itself.  Your talent is something that you do with ease.  You don't have to study for it, or you excel in that very thing that the Lord has blessed you with.  Your spiritual gift is given by the Holy Spirit.  It is a gift for you to use to edify the Body of Christ.  Your spiritual gift will always be a blessing to someone else if you are using it under the power of the Holy Spirit.  Your treasure is your finances.

The bible tells us to use our time, talents and treasurers for the church.  Not the building, the people outside of the building.  You should be using those things to add to the Body of Christ by ministering to the sick, shelters, homeless and yes, even those people you see everyday that you try to avoid because they smell or are not your class of people.

If you are faithful over the little things that the Lord gives you, then He will increase your worth.  If you are faithful with your talent (using it to glorify the Lord), he will perfect that which was given.  If you are faithful with the treasurers that you have (giving, tithes), He will increase your finances because He sees that you are not selfish.

The best way to make sure that you are making good use of what the Lord has given to you, is to ask Him to show you how to be a good steward over your finances, talent and spiritual gifts.  Whenever you are giving, be a cheerful giver.  Whenever you are ministering to someone, minister out of love.  Whenever you show up for your job, show up on time.  Do these things to the glory of God, for the Lord, not for yourself, this will keep you selfless, not selfish.

You will be overwhelmed by what the Lord God will do for you because of your love and actions towards others.  This Christian walk is all about how you treat others, not how others treat you.  You worry about you and let God worry about them.  God the Father gave you His best when He sent His Son to die on the cross for you.  Give God your best and watch Him change your life.  Amen!  Praise God!

A SPIRIT OF WORSHIP

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for you and pray that you are all blessed in everything that you do.  I speak blessings of healing and peace in your families.

(Romans 12:1), Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship.

Woman of God, I want to help you develop a closer relationship with the Lord through worship.  When we think about worship, we think about being in a quiet place, lifting hands or kneeling in prayer.  You might even think that you have to be in a church service to offer God worship.  All of these are good but what if you aren't able to get into a quiet place or a church building?

Worshipping God can be done in a lot of different ways.  We are to worship the Lord in every thing that we do and say.  You can worship God by listening to gospel music while doing household chores.  You can also worship God by praying with or for someone else.  You can worship God by fasting, showing love towards others or by giving towards others.  All of these are acts of worship. Worship is not just listening to soft music while lifting your hands in prayer.  You can worship the Lord in every act of kindness that you do.  Anything that you do that brings glory to the Lord is an act of worship.  Music or church has nothing to do with your worship.

You offer your entire body as a living sacrifice to God by your everyday actions.  The Lord does not want you to be limited to a church building or a quiet room to worship Him.  If you don't put God in a box then you will find out that there is more to Him than you could ever imagine.  We often put God in a box without even realizing it, by believing that He only moves in certain ways or situations.  You are always going to come up short when you put God in a box.  God moves in different ways according to the circumstances.  You can give God praise and worship just by offering yourself to someone else.  What I mean by this is, offer your talents, treasures or time to help someone other than yourself.  When you do this, you are offering your whole body not just your hands, this is your spiritual act of worship.

God does not just want part of you.  If you expect God to bless you abundantly, then why offer Him half of worship.  Worship God in spirit and in truth simply means that you are truthful with Him and that your spirit is in sync with Him.  Worship the Lord everyday just by offering yourself to Him and allowing Him to use you in any way that He chooses.  Amen!

YOUR LIFE IS OVER

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for each of you daily and "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry".  I pray that the Lord will blessed you more than you can even comprehend.

(Ephesians 2:16), You are members of God's very own family, citizens of God's country, and you belong in God's household with every other Christian.

Aren't you glad you gave your life over to the Lord Jesus Christ?  Now He can take care of all the problems you thought your had to handle by yourself.  Thank you Jesus!  You don't have to be concerned about making mistakes or going in the wrong direction.  You don't have to sit and worry about having enough finances to take care of your everyday needs.  The bibles says, that the Lord takes care of even the birds of the air, surely He will take care of you.

The moment you decided to give your life to Jesus Christ, His blood is now on your hands.  Everything that you touch will be blessed.  All your sins, past, present and future are forgiven, because Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God, sits on the right hand of God the Father and intercedes on your behalf.

This is very important to you because the enemy goes to and from heaven accusing you of your daily sins.  He is trying to get the Lord to punish you, but because your life is now belonging to Christ, Jesus whispers in the Father's ear and says, "She's mine, she's forgiven". HALLELUJAH!  If that doesn't make you give the Lord praise, you just don't get it yet.

Think on this; think back over your life and all the messy situations that you have been in and by this worlds' standards and laws you should be dead.  Think about all the times that you have really done something that you knew was not right, but you did it anyway, and yet, Christ loves you so much, He still whispered, "She's mine, she's forgiven.  Think about the times when you should have been put in jail, lost your job, your home and your life, but instead you were blessed.  Think about the times when you prayed for a miracle and Christ says, "It's on the way, my daughter".   Think about the times that you knew you had one foot in hell and Christ said, "Not so".  Think about the times that you don't even know about and the Lord snatched you out of the enemies reach.  MY GOD!

It's time to think back over your life and give honor to whom honor is due.  Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God!  Amen.

SWALLOW IT

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of the Lord Jesus Christ on today.  I speak joy into your life and I also pray that you have been blessed through "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry".

(Proverbs 16:18-19), Pride goes before destruction, and haughtiness before a fall.  It is better to live humbly with the poor than to share plunder with the proud.

Woman of God, sometimes you just have to swallow it.  Swallow it, what do you mean?  Glad you asked, PRIDE.

I have had a hard time with this one myself.  Sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and just be quiet or say I'm sorry to keep the peace in your home and life.  You are going to have to have a big throat at times, get a tall glass of water, and swallow your pride.  I was the type of person that despised saying the words, "I'm sorry".  So what I preferred to do was not do anything or say anything that would cause me to say, "I'm sorry'.  Well, that only worked for a minute, sometimes I wouldn't make it.  Don't feel bad, I am still working on that pride thing.

The reason why the scripture says that pride goes before destruction is because, if you are prideful, then you will ultimately be destructive.  You will disprute your household.  If you are in a disagreement with your spouse or someone else, sometimes you just have to swallow your pride and walk away.  It is very hard for some of us to do that because (1) you may be right (2) you have to have the last word (3) you just like confusion.  It's definitely in one of those categories.  I fit in at least two of them.

If you have a problem with pride, you know it and may not want to admit it but you have to.  You have to develop a humble spirit.  God cannot use pride, but He will use a spirit of humility.  It takes a lot of practice and prayer to get to the point where you are not full of pride.  A person that is prideful is also vain, neither of the two are of God.  You might find that the more humble in spirit you are the more blessed you will be.  God will reward you for at least trying.  You might mess up but you have to keep trying to get rid of that prideful spirit, it is of the enemy.  Pride has been the cause of a lot of wars in this world, so it will definitely cause a war in your home.  My advice is get a tall glass of water and get to swallowing.  It means that you are dying to you.  Jesus says, to follow Him, we must pick up our cross and walk.  That means you must die to your old nature and put Him first.  We dealing with pride, you must put the other person first.  Once you begin to put the other person first, then you will also develop a love for that person.

I know that there will be occasions when you are too mad to apologize, get your water and do it anyway, that humbles yourself and that is what God desires.  Your throat may be as big as a basketball once you start swallowing all that pride, but your heart will be softened and you would have gained a friend, JESUS CHRIST!  I think that is a small price to pay, don't you?
GOD BLESS YOU!

WILL YOU HAVE ENOUGH OIL?

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I miss you.  I pray that everyone is blessed and highly favored of the Lord God today.  If you don't think so than think back over your life and then you will truly say that you are blessed!

(Proverbs 31:18), She sees her trading profitable and her lamp does not go out at night.

Her lamp does not go out at night because she was wise enough to put enough oil it her lamp, just in case.  You have to have enough of Jesus Christ in you just in case.  Just in case you are going through a desolate valley in your life. Others around you are falling by the wayside but you won't because you have enough Christ in you to make it to the other side, where you will find peace.

I don't know about you but Sunday services is never enough oil for me.  I need Wednesday night bible study and prayer in between those days.  This particular wise woman in the bible was out at night with other women to meet Jesus Christ.  The other women ran out of oil because they did not anticipate having to wait for a long amount of time.  The woman that had enough oil had sense enough to bring extra just in case.  Once their lamp ran out of oil, they ask her for some of hers and she said no, because she wanted to have enough.

Woman of God, do you have enough oil in your lamp?  Let's put it another way, do you have enough of the Spirit of the Lord in you for the "just in case"?  Life's circumstances are going to come.  Distress and heartache is going to come no matter who you are.  Will you have enough oil in your lamp?  Will you have enough of the Spirit of the Lord built up in you to endure lifes trials and tribulations.  Trouble don't last always, but it will last longer if you are not built up in the Lord Jesus Christ.  You have to have enough for the times that it seems like you are all alone.  For the times that it seems like you are in a spiritual desert and God is not with you.  For those times, you have to stay built up in the Lord.  You have to be able to pray and praise your way out of circumstances that seem to be swallowing you up by the minute.  For the times that it seems like you have been praying and laboring in the spirit for a change in your situation.

For the "just in case" in your life, you may need to put your worship cd's in the car.  You may have to read your bible on your lunchbreak.  You may need to anoint your home and your children.  You may need to sit quitely, for the "just in case".  God does not want you to run out of oil.  He needs for you to be built up in Him as you grow and go to the next level in Him.  AMEN!  GOD BLESS YOU!

DEVELOPING A FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD

Mighty Woman of God!

I had to post something that I read earlier this morning.  But I will tell you a short story.  The other day my daughter said to me, "I don't know how you did it mom, but you are God's best friend".  I laughed about it and told her, I spend a lot of time with Him.  The reason why she was stating that was because I had prayed about something that apparently happened for her.

You are as close to God as you choose to be.  Like any friendship, you must work at developing your friendship with God.  It won't happen by accident.  It takes desire, time, and energy.  If you want a deeper, more intimate connection with God you must learn to honestly share your feelings with Him, trust Him when He asks you to do something, learn to care about what he cares about, and desire His friendship more than anything else.  God doesn't expect you to be perfect, but he does insist on complete honesty.  None of God's friends in the Bible were perfect.

One day I was in prayer, and I said to God, "Lord, I want you to call me your friend".  That same day, I was in a prayer group/bible study at a person's home and she leaned over and said to me, God said you are His friend.  I just sat there and cried because no one but God was in the room with me when I made that comment.  You see, it is easy to be friends with someone that you have something in common with.  The thing that I have in common with God is that we both desire and have compassion for people.  We both want all to come to know Christ.  Now that God and I desire the same things, He gives me whatever spiritual gifts I need to accomplish what we both desire.  I can get a prayer through and I am not going to be boastful.  But if I cannot get a prayer through then the ministry would be dead and why would you trust me to pray for you.  You should desire for people to say the same thing about you.  Some of you, really don't have any friends, so why not tell God all your problems?  Why not tell God all your inner most feelings and secrets, He won't gossip to someone else, that's for sure?  You won't hear it in the congregation either.  GOD BLESS YOU! Amen!
