THE TWINS - GRACE AND MERCY

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you have the peace of God in your heart on today and that you will honor Him in everything that you do or even with your heart.

Vines Complete Expository Dictionary: Grace - In modern Hebrew seems to stress the stronger meaning of "to pardon or to show mercy."  The word occurs around 80 times in Hebrew Old Testament.

Mercy - "to have compassion, be merciful, pity.

Matthew: 11:28-30), Then Jesus said, "Come unto me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light."

Today I get to talk about me and you.  And prayerfully, the Spirit of the Lord will guide you.  While in my prayer time I was listening to a song, that basically says, "God's mercy kept me, so I wouldn't let go, I am here today because His mercy kept me so I wouldn't let go."  I don't know if you know that song but as I played it, I begin to look back over my life.  With everything within me, I have to thank God for His mercy.

Now, I am not suicidal at all, but going through physical, mental and drug abuse, I almost let go.  I almost let go of God's hand.  There were times in my life that I did consider just leaving this earth but as I looked at my children, I knew that I couldn't just leave.  I have thought that I was so horrible and my life was going far from God, so why am I here?  The more I tried to make my life work, the more Satan tried to stop me.  My late 20's and early 30's was very heavy for me.  I was very weary and tired.  I didn't read one of my bibles so I didn't know or understood anything about God's mercy and His grace.  I did not know that I should begin praying that the Lord will give me rest.  I didn't know that for the spirit of heaviness, start praising the Lord.

Woman of God, there will be some circumstances that you might face that will make you say, "Why me Lord".  Think about the Lord's grace that He has given to you.  Think about how merciful the Lord is to you.  I know that there has been times when you can see the Lord working your situation out for your good.  But know that just because you can't see that your situation will work out in your favor, know that the Lord is still with you.  The Lord does not want you to live a life of despair and hopelessness.  The Lord wants you to get up and take a stand that you will not let any event in your life cause you to be uncertain that He is with you.

My children are and blessing to me, because without them, I would have kept walking in despair.  Even though you may face times that causes you to flood your face with tears, it's okay, just get back up.  When you feel like you cannot make it any further and you feel like your life is hopeless, remember the twins:  God's GRACE and MERCY!

Heavenly Father, I pray that your word will go forth and comfort those that may be dealing with a crisis.  Touch them Father and restore them back to You.  I pray that those that are facing circumstances that they feel like they can't make it any further, touch their heart Lord and remind them that you are Merciful and you won't put more of them than they can handle.  May you bless those that think they cannot handle anymore speak to their heart Lord.  I pray that they praise you no matter what they are facing, in Jesus name Amen.

O TASTE AND SEE . . . .

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord, Jesus Christ!

(Psalms 34:8, 17, 18), Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him, (17) The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.  (18) The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I want you all to know that I truly have love for each of you in my heart.  It is not because I want or need something from you and did not start this ministry because I want to gain favor from anyone.  This ministry is for you because God told me to start a women's ministry for HIM and YOU!  There has been times that I wanted to quit but I think about even the few that may be blessed by the Lord's messages.

God has given me today's message because it is weighing heavy on my heart.  When things weigh heavy on my heart, it is because I have been where you are or I just plain on love you and want what God wants for you and that is to be free from anything that the devil is trying to kill your spirit with.

Bitterness:  When you taste something that is bitter, you can recognize the taste right away.  Usually you will make an ugly frown or just keep wetting your tongue to quickly get that bitter taste out of your mouth.  If someone ask you how does something taste, and you say, "bitter", that usually means that whatever it is does not taste good, unless you just like bitter things.  People don't usually go out and buy something that taste bitter because they like the taste of bitter food.  So, the term "bitter", is never really a good term when describing something.  A bitter taste is never something that will make you smile, even if you like the taste of bitterness, your initial reaction will not be a smile.

Now let's go to bitterness when it comes to things or issues of our spirit.  I have spoken to someone that is about 55 years old and whenever she spoke to me, she spoke about an incident that happened to her as a child that she had to endure.  Even though I have spoken with her about three times, I still do not know her.  The first time we spoke, it was more or less an introduction and she spoke about the incident.  The second and third time, the same thing.  I realized that I had to open up my spiritual ears because I noticed that she was bitter about the situation.  Then I began to pray and ask God, to tell me what to do to help her.  She is a strong woman of God so I don't know what to do but because my spiritual antennas where up, my spirit began to cry out for her.  Each time that I had spoken with her, she made it a point to tell me that she had forgiven those men that treated her so badly.

The first thing that I want you to know is that having a spirit of bitterness does not mean that you are a bad person.  We are human and sometimes the issues of our childhood taste so bad that we don't have enough love to swallow it, we don't know how.  We are Godly women, but that one thing has become a thorn in our side.  What the devil does with that thorn is keep reminding us of that situation over and over again.  And if the devil can keep us talking about it over and over again, we then become very bitter.  Each time that we taste that unforgiven pill we get a bitter taste in our mouth and frown.  When that thought or name passes through our heart or mouth, we will ultimately frown then we might try to smile a little bit.  We may even go to classes and seminars to break free from that bitterness but to no avail, we are still bitter.  Because we love Christ so much and we have other aspects of our lives down-packed, we don't want to admit that we are still bitter about being mistreated, beat up, raped and abused.

Just to let you know that although this ministry has been birthed by God, through me.  Let me just say that again, BY GOD, through me, I still have some growing and learning to do and after several years, I just swallow my bitter pill, even though I thought that I had already done that.  I went to a women's breakfast, and I had no idea what I was really getting in to.  I thought that we were going to talk about a book on "Forgiveness", but for some reason the Holy Spirit set us all up.  It was not until about 5 months ago that I realized that although, I may have said that I forgave someone, I had not, because every time that persons name would hit the atmosphere, my spirit cringed.  No one can see your spirit cringe but God.  That is why I am giving this message today.  God knows that your spirit still cringes, and He wants you to taste and see that He is good.  He wants to remind you that He hears your unspoken cries and He knows that you are brokenhearted and He wants you free.  The only way that we can truly be free, is to admit our true feelings.  Not the feelings that we show on the outside, the ones that are hidden in our heart.  My prayer is that you are not 55 years old and still bitter.  I love you and I hope this is a blessed message for those of you that need to be free.

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise you for your grace and mercy towards me.  Father, I thank you for your word that I have hidden in my heart and that you are a loving Father towards me.  Lord Jesus, I cannot do this one on my own, I am asking that your Spirit comfort me and get me through the bitterness that I am still feeling towards ____________, Holy Spirit, I am asking you to do what I cannot do for myself.  I have tried Lord Jesus and I know that you love me unconditionally and your desire is for me to be free from the spirit of bitterness.  I love you Lord with all of my heart and I want what is best for me and I know that you want what is best for me, in Jesus name, Amen.

ROCKS AND SAND

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of our Lord, Jesus Christ!  I have an excuse for being absent. LOL!  I just finished my second book, titled, "Mighty Woman of God".  It is definitely a blessing and I am so excited about it.  If you have been blessed by the daily blogs, you will be blessed by this book.

(Matthew 7:24-27) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man.  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

In this parable, Jesus is not speaking about an actual building; he is speaking about your physical body.  Christ is saying if you build yourself up in Him, when the winds blow and the floods seems to overtake you; you will be able to stand.  If you place a handful of sand on top of a rock, when the wind and floods hit that rock, the sand will blow away; but the rock will still be intact without any signs of destruction.  Jesus Christ desires for you to be built up in Him just like that rock so that you are able to stay intact during the storms in your life.

Woman of God, be determined to have a house that is built upon a rock and not sand.  If you are the type of person that does not allow yourself time to read the Word of God or have daily prayer; most likely you are sand.  The enemy knows that you are sand and therefore, it is easy to disrupt your life.  As soon as an unforeseen incident happens, just like sand upon a rock you are blown away.  You end up making rash decisions that will not get you out of your storm.  Your foundation is not strong enough because you have a house built on sand.  If you don’t have enough of the Spirit of the Lord in your physical body, you are considered sand to the enemy.

If you are the type of person that takes the time to study the Word of God and pray regularly, you have developed a rock mentality.  When the enemy comes to disrupt your life, you are not easily blown away by his tactics or lies.  You know the blessings and promises that God has for you and you will have a strong determination to live your spiritual journey in the will of God.  When you are faced with adversities and tragedies you will know without a doubt, that God has already handled it for you.  Jesus did not say to Peter, "Upon this sand, I will build my house".  Jesus' words to Peter were, "Upon this rock, I will build my house".

In order to be productive during your spiritual journey called life; you will have to have a solid rock-like mentality and foundation.   The foundation has to be the very essence of your being, what you are made of on the inside.  Time is running short for the devil and his demonic spirits so you cannot afford to be blown all over the place.   You have to take a firm position concerning your spirituality and your relationship with Jesus Christ.  Your children are depending on you to give them guidance and wisdom to get them through their spiritual journey.  They will need a rock foundation and mentality.  Sand will only have them blown out into a valley of nowhere.  Pray for your children, daily.  Pray with them and speak blessing upon their lives.  They may be too young to understand what you are praying about but in the times to come, when they are older, they will understand.  You will develop a type of faith that the Lord will see and He will not have forgotten the prayers that you prayed over your children.  PRAISE GOD!

DROP YOUR ANCHOR

Good morning, Mighty woman of God!  I pray that you all feel blessed and highly favored of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  The first step is feeling blessed now you have to walk in it.

I always try to be as open and honest with you through these blogs and even a post on Facebook.  So with that being said, I want to tell you what the Lord said to me the other day.  I usually tell people that I always have something to say when the Lord tells me to do something.  I have sort of made a joke about it, because I say, "Well, the Lord knows that I will do whatever He asks of me, after I am through complaining and asking Him to send someone else.

Anyway, this is what the Lord said to me, "Why are you so disobedient?  You are doing exactly what you tell your son not to do to you.  When you tell him to do something, he has something negative to say to you, although he will do it  because you are his parent.  What do you think about you always saying something negative first to when I command you to do something?  You do not want your son to be disobedient, you call it talking back, well, I call it talking back.  You have done this since you have be called to be a blessing to other women.  Although you will respond with Yes, you talk back to me.  How do you think that I feel?  What makes you think that you have the right to say anything but Yes, Lord to me?  I will know longer allow you to talk back to me.  It is time for you to grow up you no longer have the luxury of talking back before you do what I say to do. You would move a little faster if you don't waste time, wondering why.  I love you, but you have to move when I say move.  It's time.

The reason why I am telling you about that conversation is because a lot of times people tend to think that ministers have some sort of secret powers.  You forget that we are only people that said yes to the calling on our lives.  I am a prophet of the Lord, but I too still make mistakes and every now and then the Lord will give me an OUCH message.

(Matthew 14:25-32), About three o'clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the water.  When the disciples saw him, they screamed in terror, thinking he was a ghost.  But Jesus spoke to them at once.  "It's all right," he said. "I am here!  Don't be afraid".  Then Peter called to him, "Lord, if it's really you, tell me to come to you by walking on water.  All right, come," Jesus said.  So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus.  But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began to sink.  "Save me, Lord", he shouted.  Instantly Jesus reached out, "You don't have much faith," Jesus said.  "Why did you doubt me?"  And when they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped.

Today's message is quite different.  As I began typing the scriptures, the Spirit of the Lord told me not to write a message to go with those scriptures.  The Spirit of the Lord says that there are a number of women that will need just those scriptures to get by today.  To be reminded that I AM God!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for Your word on today.  I thank you for your words of comfort and that I am blessed by your word.  Father, I also pray that you will restore me and strengthen my relationship with you. I pray dear Lord that as I read your word that I will not just read the scriptures, but that I have all faith to believe and trust in You.  Lord Jesus, just as you were with Peter as he walked towards you, I pray that you are with me also as I walk towards you and you will calm the storms in my live today and that I won't be afraid when you bid me to come closer.  I thank you Lord for hearing my prayer, in Jesus name, Amen!

WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING?

Good morning, mighty woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace, love and joy upon your life and may you prosper as you follow after Jesus Christ.

(1 John 2:27), But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Since we've all seen the Wizard of Oz, I want you to put on your spiritual cap and “ease on down the road” with me.  When Dorothy finally reaches her destination, the Land of Oz, she realizes that the great and powerful Wizard is a phony.  For some reason no one in the entire town of Oz ever met the great Wizard but they followed him and his laws.  They sang and danced all about the great and powerful Wizard.

Let’s suppose that you are Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz is the minister or pastor of your church.  You have put all your faith in him to show you the way to Jesus Christ.  You eventually discover that he has been putting up a front for the Land of Oz (the congregation).  He has been stealing the building funds, instead of counseling he’s committing adultery, and leading you down a yellow brick road to nowhere.  You are disappointed and lost because you put your faith in the creation, not the Creator.

Here’s my story:  I was helping out a friend with the birth of their new ministry.  I knew the Word of God and had been practicing to live by the laws of God’s Word.  I studied my bible daily and through my time of praise and worship with the Lord, I developed a relationship with Him.  Although I had those aspects under my belt, I got stuck in the wrong ministry.  I saw all the warning signs but I compromised what I knew to be true and righteous when it came to what the bible says about leaders in the church.  I got caught up in all the hoopla and façade that was put on in the church and found myself following after the creation and not the Creator.  My punishment for doing so was more than I could have ever imagined.  I could not blame anyone but myself because I should have done what I knew to be righteous according to the Word of God.  I lost sight of the Creator and held on to the creation.

There are certain characteristics and requirements which are written in the bible that explains in detail how a pastor or leaders in the church should act before starting a ministry.  (Titus 1:6-8), An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.  Since an overseer is entrusted with God’s work, he must be blameless, not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain.  Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined.

The Lord God wants you to know two important things: (1) God is the only one that you should be following.  If the pastor/minister is not following the Word of God, then you should not be following them.  You have an obligation to yourself to study the Word of God and follow the right path to Christ. (2) You have the power to get to Jesus Christ yourself.  You have the owner’s manual, it’s called the bible.  It does not take the great OZ (pastor/minister) to get you there.  Jesus says, “Knock and the door shall be opened to you, seek and you shall find.

I don't care how great and powerful you think your pastor is, he is not God and therefore he is imperfect.  When you put your pastor on a pedestal of perfection, you could possibility be setting yourself up for a big fall.  People tend to forget that their pastor does make mistakes.  When your pastor makes a mistake it is only because he is a man, not God.  Your pastor should only be a guide to you through your spiritual journey.  The bible says, "study to show thyself approved."

A lot of women tend to get hurt in their church because they have forgotten the fundamentals of the Word of God and decided to follow after the creation instead of the Creator.  We are emotional creatures and sometimes we tend to follow our hearts and not what we know to be true and righteous.

Your pastor is not going to be standing beside with you when you are called home by the Lord Jesus Christ.  You have to be accountable for your own actions.  Don’t be like Dorothy, looking for something that does not exist or finding out that you have wasted your time sitting under a ministry that has only a form of godliness.  PRAISE GOD!

CHARITY = LOVE

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God!  I pray that you are all blessed by the Lord's message for you today.

(1 Cor. 14:3-8), Even if I dole out all that I have (to the poor in providing) food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or (in order that I might glory), but have not love (God's love in me), I gain nothing.  Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.  It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude and does not act unbecomingly.  Love (God's love in us) does not insist on its own right or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it (it pays no attention to a suffer wrong).  It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.  Love bears up anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, it hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything (with weakening).

Wow, what a message.  Yesterday I mentioned how the Holy Spirit that teaches us all things use scriptural references to comfort and encourage us even in today's time.  Although we are not living in the times of the biblical days, the Spirit of the Lord will teach us how to live according to the principles of the bible, today.  I want to talk about two different relationships that we engage ourselves in (marriage and friendships).

I'll start with friendships.  Most of us will not have a huge circle of friends.  You may have a circle of associates but not friends.  I have one friend and I don't mind that at all.  A true and real friend of over 25 years.  We have watched each others kids grow up as well as watching each other grow.  The type of love that Paul is writing about is called (Godly love).  What is Godly love?  It's simple, its written in the above scriptures.  If you have people around you that do not produce the same type of love that Paul has written about then you are wasting valuable time and energy with them.  Your friend should not be envious of you when you grown in Christ and prosper because of Christ.  Your friend should not be boastful about themselves or what they have.  Your friend does not bring up past hurts or wrongdoings.  Your friend should not be conceited or be able to forgive.  If you have a friend that meets those scriptural qualities then you will be blessed.

Marriage seems to be lacking most of those qualities.  I will definitely say that I am sometimes guilty of taking account of evil done. Meaning I am not too quick to forgive of pass offences.  The bibles states that we are to pay not attention to wrong done to us in the past.  So I have a little bit more work to do in that department of (Godly love).  Believe it or not, sometimes I am not patient and sometimes I am not kind to my husband.  I spit out things on my tongue that I know to be wrong, so I need a lot of work in that department.  You see there is nothing wrong with admitting that you need help or growth in certain areas of your life.  The problem and the wrongdoing is pretending like you got it all together and you have wings .

Ladies, before you think about marriage or getting into a long-term relationship to prepare for marriage, read Paul's message to the saints in Corinth.  If your husband or significant other does not even try to possess those biblical qualities, maybe it's time for you to rethink your relationship with him.  Things are not going to just get better with God and Godly principles.  You can love all you want, cry all you want, beg all you want, but that will still not bring love (Godly love) into your relationship if you are not at least trying to find a man that at least has the potential to posses those characteristics.  Women always make the biggest mistakes when looking for our future husband and that is trying to fit him in our world, instead of seeing if he fits into God's world.  Some of us have picked a man like opening a box full of thousands of broken pieces and expect to put him together the way that we want, instead of realizes that we picked a box that has missing pieces (Godly love).  No matter what you do you can never influence someone to posses (Godly love).

Choose your friends and husbands according to Paul's teaching on charity (love).  All spiritual gifts will eventually fade away but love (charity) will never fade away.  AMEN!

ESCALATORS

Good morning, Mighty woman of God!  I speak blessings of peace in your life and that you will walk under the guidance of the Spirit of the Lord, Jesus Christ.  May you prosper as you follow after Him.
(Psalms 119:105), Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalms 119:106), Amplified, I have sworn (an oath) and have confirmed it, that I will keep your righteous ordinances (hearing, receiving loving and obeying them.
I love the Word of God.  I love the fact that the Holy Spirit has a way of bringing the scriptures to light even in today's time.  Even though our circumstances and situations may change from day to day, the Holy Word of God does not.
The other day the Holy Spirit gave me a parable about escalators.  Now you have to put on your spiritual caps and just envision this message.  Do you remember the first time you got on an escalator?  Were you afraid that the stairs would suck you right in?  Imagine being a child and your father is holding your hand before getting on the escalators.  You have  never been on an escalator before, but you are watching the stairs go way up in the sky.  It seems as though the stairs are just disappearing and re-appearing right before your eyes.  You don't want to express to your father that you are afraid to get on the escalator, so you begin to hold his hands a little bit tighter.  You  don't fully understand how to get on and how to get off the escalator.  But you do notice that the stairs are disappearing and going somewhere that you cannot see.  You think to yourself that if you don't get off in time you will be sucked in and you don't know where you will end up.  So you trust your father to guide you on and off the stairs.
Woman of God, our Christian life is somewhat like those escalator stairs.  The moment that we become a Christian we are excited.  It's just something about knowing that Jesus Christ is your Lord and your Salvation.  It's just something about knowing that Jesus will be with you everyday.  As you ride up to the top of the escalator you are trusting your father that he will help you once you get to the top.  As soon as you get to the top, just before the escalator stairs disappear, your father says JUMP!  And you jump.  Now, I know that you are following what I am saying, because if you think about the times that you get on an escalators with your child; when you get to the top, you say jump and they jump.
After awhile your child gets used to riding the escalator because they realize that they won't get sucked in to nowhere.  They have learned how to get on and off of the escalator ride.  It may take a couple of rides to get it down-packed but eventually they are even excited about the ride.
God wants you to get excited about your spiritual ride with Him as your Heavenly Father.  God wants you to live just like a child that gets on an escalator holding their fathers hand all the way to the top.  God wants you to allow Him to guide your footsteps all the way to the top.  God wants you to trust Him to get you through any anxieties that you may have today.  Trust Him to tell you will to JUMP.  And when your Heavenly Father says, "JUMP", you are leaping over your adversary (the devil).  You are jumping into your blessing from your Heavenly Father.  You are jumping over that mountain in your way.  You are jumping right into your spiritual gifts.  AMEN!
