MY BURDEN IS LIGHT

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I thank God for each of you daily and my prayers are always with you.  So know this, even if I have never spoken with you personally, I call out your name in prayer daily.

(Matthew 11:28-30), Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Lord's burden is light.  Meaning He won't put more on you than you can bare.  Let me say that again, "HE WON'T".  But that does not mean that other people in your life, won't put more on you then you can bare.

Certain people might come into your life that will not care about how much you can bare they will just keep trying to stuff more of their mess into your baggage.  And single moms, I've been there.  We have children that you have to take care of; why accept someone else's burden's, some other man's burden's.  I was a married single mom.  I say that because although I was married my husband during those times was not a dad or a husband according to the laws of God.  And his burden was not at all light.

Some men know that when they have a good woman, a woman of integrity and value; they also know that you are the kind of woman that ill always take care of your children.  You will always have a roof over your head and food in your cabinets.  So your burden will count on you to be a good mother and provider.  That type of man will stay with you, even though he is out running the streets all night.  Even if you decide to move, he will start acting right long enough for you to include him in your future plans.  That type of man, doesn't have a planned future but he knows that you do.  That type of man is counting on you to be you, a woman of value, integrity and a woman of God.

Women are very emotional creatures, we follow our hearts.  The bible says that we don't even know our own hearts.  God does.  That is why prayer and a relationship with the Lord is very important.  Trust the Lord for your mate.  If your burden's become heavy, then it is not of God and maybe its time for you to lighten the load.  Stop, take a deep breath, and start rearranging and even throw away some of the things in your life that are too heavy.  If you keep that persons burdens that does not fit with yours, then you are taking a chance that you won't be able to reach your destination which God has set for you.

I know that people always say that the Lord doesn't put more on you than you can bare.  Like you, I have heard that saying many of times and did not believe it at all.  Mainly because the burden did not appear to be light at that time.  But, now I want you to believe and trust in God that His burden is light.  If you find that the burden is not light; then it is not of God.  When you get to a point where you think you cannot make it, stand up and remind yourself that you can handle whatever you are going through, because God said so and He will not let you down.  Say to yourself, "I can handle this because God has made me strong enough to handle this.  GIVE GOD PRAISE!

TAKING BACK YOUR REMOTE

Hello, my sisters in Christ Jesus.  Sometimes I will find it necessary to repost certain blogs.  This blog is something that needs to hit home from some of us.

(Psalms 29:11) The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.
Mighty woman of God, it’s time for you to get your remote back. Yes, your remote! Picture this: you’re watching a program on television and every time a commercial comes on the person with the remote starts changing the channel. You don’t say anything but it is really annoying you. You just keep looking at the person with the remote, wishing they would stop pressing the button.

My question to you is, “Does someone else have your remote? By this, I’m asking, are you allowing someone else to control you? Do their reactions determine what type of day you are going to have? Are you constantly worried about whether they are going to be checking your phone messages?  Do you have to make sure you are home at the same time every day or else you are accused of cheating?  If you have any of those problems I just mentioned, then you have given your remote to someone else.  You are allowing someone to control you.

In my early 30's, I gave my remote to someone.  I had no control over anything in my life because of this person.  I went through mental, physical and emotional abuse.  He knew which buttons to press to make my life a living hell.  Whatever he said, I did, just to keep peace in my house.

One day I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me, "Who are you?" I had no idea.  Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be so lost and allowing someone else to control me and my actions.  I was a strong woman before this person came into my life.  I started praying, something I hadn't done in ten years. I took my remote back (my life).  The remote symbolizes your life. I hope this message can save you ten years.

Here’s what I want you to do, refuse to let that person, place or thing control you.  Enjoy who you are and whatever decisions that you make with your life let them be yours.  Hold on to your own remote, it's your life, make up in your mind that you will no longer allow someone else to change your channel from peace to sorrow, joy to bitterness and hatred.  You should be able to control your own life.  Just because you put your remote down for a moment, doesn’t give any man, woman or child, the right to pick it up and begin changing your station.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I give You all the praise and honor on today.  Lord, I pray that You give me the strength to take back whatever the enemy has stolen from me.  I pray also for wisdom and knowledge concerning any situation that may be controlling me.  Lord, I want to walk under Your guidance and authority.  Lord, I thank you for giving me strength to control my own life, and that I will have no fear to take back my remote.  I thank You Lord, for keeping me safe through this journey of my life, in Jesus name, Amen.

THE TWINS (Grace and Mercy)

Good morning, Mighty Women of God.

Why is God's Grace and His Mercy so important to us?  Why should we pray for His grace and mercy daily?

Well, I'm glad you asked.  Years ago, before I became a Prayer Warrior, I'd always hear someone praying for grace and mercy.  It just seemed like something that you should say when you are at a lost for words during time of prayer.  Anyway, as I studied the Word of God and gained more knowledge of Him, I realized the purpose of having the Lord's grace and mercy.  Grace give us what we do not deserve.  For instance, we do not deserve the love of the Almighty God to send His Son to die for us.  All of us are sinners.  It's our nature.  God knows that, but He loves us anyway.  I have learned that I need God's grace to be upon my life to allow me to pray for others.  Paul talks about the thorn in his side that God would not remove.  "My grace is sufficient for you."  God's grace allows us to freely walk in His provisions.

Mercy:  No matter what title you hold in your church (Pastor, Deacon, Minister, Elder, Prophet), you have to pay for whatever sins you do. This is a fact.  There are consequences for your actions.  The good thing here is that Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father making His plead for us.  Even the most elect before God will bear His wrath.  This does not mean that God will not continue to use us for His glory (that's grace).  We should pray for God to have mercy upon us during the season of our punishment.  For instance, if you are not a good steward over your finances and decide to gamble away the finances that God has blessed you with and don't pay your rent, you will be put out.  Now, here comes God's mercy.  Praying for God to have mercy upon you because of your sin, He will make sure you have a roof over your head and food to eat.  That's mercy.  It may not be what you are used to having, but His mercy kept you and your family from living on the street.  (Read Micah 7:9).  LET'S US PRAY!

Father God, we thank you for your grace and mercy today.  Waking us up this morning and keeping watch over us as we slept last night.  You are such an awesome God.  You never sleep nor slumber.  You are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  We honor you and adore you Lord.  Not just for things in our lives, but for our very lives. Lord we know that we are sinners and we are asking you today to have mercy upon us as we go through whatever the consequences are for our actions.  Have mercy upon our children Lord for the decisions that they may have made that will bring your wrath upon them.  Help us Lord to understand that you are our Heavenly Father and you love us and if you didn't punish us we might never learn the great extent of your mercy.  We understand that our sin does not keep you from loving us.  Thank you Almighty God.  In Jesus Name Amen.

THROW DOWN YOUR STAFF

Good morning, my sisters in Christ Jesus.  I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord our Savior, Jesus Christ.  I thank the Lord for you as I pray for you daily.

(Exodus 7:10-12), And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the Lord had commanded:  and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.  Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.  For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

I just love the way that the Holy Spirit gives me the wisdom in bringing the scriptures to light in a different way.  Not taking anything away from the scriptures but the knowledge as to how to make the scriptures minister to you in a way that will make you smile or to say, Okay, I get it.

Today the Spirit of the Lord wants us to understand that the stories and scriptures in the bible are not just stories, or just for ancient times.  The bible is the Word of God and His desire for you is that by His Spirit you gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding that He is the same God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Let's just say that you are Moses and you have been praying for the devil to release you from whatever you have been praying for deliverance from.  Maybe you have been praying for a family member or maybe for yourself.  Just like Moses, God has given you a weapon to fight the enemy with and He is going to give you precise instructions.  Your staff is Prayer.  But the moment you began praying, the enemy (magician) shows up and tries to trick you or speak to your mind and heart that he will swallow up your prayers and God will not hear you. If your faith is strong enough, when the enemy throws down his weapon, the weapon (PRAYER) that God has given you will be stronger and bigger that the devil and your staff (PRAYER) will swallow up anything that he (the devil) throws at you.

God spoke to Moses and Aaron, giving them instructions to throw down the staff that He gave them and watch Him demonstrate His power.  Moses and Aaron had no idea that the Pharaoh's magicians and were going to perform a trick that looked like the power of God was with them.  God is saying to you that the devil performs tricks and He (God) performs miracles.  So when the devil tries to trick you into believing that God will not deliver you or bless you, "THROW DOWN YOUR STAFF".  LET'S US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I asked that you forgive me of my sins.  Those things that I may have said or done that did not bring glory unto Your Name.  Father, I pray that you guide me today and protect me from the enemy.  Father, as I read Your Word, I pray for understand and knowledge of Your Word so that I can guard the Word in my heart.  Thank you for believing in me and for my deliverance, in Jesus name, Amen.

Ladies, don't forget to sign up for the upcoming FREE Women's Conference, Sat. June 7th 1P-3P.  God would not be sending me over a thousand miles away, if He did not have a blessing for all of us.  Come on out for fellowship and a mighty move of God.  God bless you!

PEOPLE PLEASERS

Good Morning, Mighty Women of God!

I glorify the Lord on today.  I pray that the Lord continues to bless you as you seek diligently after Him.
Today, the Lord's message to you is "deliverance from people".  Yes, "deliverance from people".  If you're the kind of person that typically are called a 'people pleaser', then this message if for you.  Some of us may have been raised in a household and felt we didn't get much attention.  Maybe you were the type of child that always did what was right.  Maybe the type of child that everyone said, you wouldn't amount to anything.  Whatever the case may be, you have unknowingly become a 'people pleaser'.  You see 'people pleasers' don't do anything they want to do, they do what you think they should do.  People pleasers worry about what people in church, on the job and even in our families are saying about us.  We don't want to cause any trouble, at any time, so we tend to go along with the most popular thing going at that time.  There may be times where you knew something was not right, but you did it anyway because don't want other people to judge you. A lot of 'people pleaser' are in he church.  You aren't yourself around other members of the church in fear that they will judge you by the things you say, the way you act, or even the fact that they are still struggling with issues.

I used to belong to a big congregation.  I really enjoyed being a member of the church. I was an active member of the Prayer Ministry and Good News Publication Ministry.  I was well known in the church, even though it was a big congregation.  I had a spirit of intimidation on my life and low self-esteem.  Those two demonic spirits made me a "People Pleaser".  You would not know that about me just by looking at me because I am also a very sociable person.  I was around a lot of teachers, pastors, elders on a lot of occasions, even as much as being in their homes.  I thought that their positions in the church made me feel inadequate.  I often cared about what they thought about me. I never showed them the real me.

One day while in prayer, the Lord told me that I was just as important as any of His people.  He told me that I was placed in their presence for a reason.  At the end of the day, if you can look in the mirror and ask yourself, did I do anything that didn't bring glory to the Lord today?  Did ungodly words come out of my mouth against the people of God?  If you can answer no to these questions, than you have nothing to worry about.

If you have people in your life that make you feel intimidated, remember that you are just as good as they are.  It does not matter what a position they hold in your church.  Remember that God is not a respecter of persons and no one is without sin.  Because of a spirit of low self-esteem, it can take a little work to constantly look at yourself in the mirror and say, "I am a child of the Most High, I am as good as anyone else".  I had to do that and I went through a lot of pain and suffering because of the spirit of intimation, which did not allow me to speak up for myself or be myself around other people.  I learned the hard way, but I did learn.

I realized that the biggest issue that I had was that I needed deliverance from people.  That meant that I would no longer worry about what other people thought about me.  There were things happening in a church that I decided to attend to help the new church get started.  I observed a lot of things that was wrong, according to the bible, not me.  I didn't say anything about it, because I was a 'people pleaser'.  It just happened that something really bad took place and I had to leave because of the hurt that I went through.  Don't end up being a 'people pleaser' it will hurt you in the long run. PRAISE THE LORD!
Please sign up early for the upcoming Women's Conference, Saturday, June 7th, 1PM-3PM in the Chicagoland area (details to follow).  I am expecting a mighty move of God and I pray that you don't miss this opportunity for a TRANSFORMATION.  God bless you.

GOD'S DISCIPLINE AND REBELLION

Good morning, Mighty Woman of God.  I pray that you are all blessed and highly favored of our Lord Jesus Christ.

(Hebrews 12:5-8), And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as daughters: "My daughter, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He punishes everyone He accepts as a daughter.  Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as daughters, For what daughter is not disciplined by her father?  If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true daughters. (New Int'l Version) (I changed words sons to daughters).

Okay, today's lesson may sting a little bit, but you know me, it's never to hurt you but to help you. I don't know about you but when I was a child, I often heard, "If I didn't care, I wouldn't punish you.  Or if I didn't love you, you wouldn't be getting this whipping right now".  As a child I didn't see that as a sign of love or caring at all.  As a child, my thinking was more one the lines of, "If you care or love me, you would leave me alone and forget about what I just did to be getting punished."

I am going to throw myself under the bus for this one, but my prayer is that, in me doing that, I will touch someone's heart and mind to push you a little farther in your spiritual journey.

I have been dealing with something for the past week.  Just as Paul says, I know that I should do what is right, but the right thing I do not do.  There is a struggle in the spirit realm and just like Paul, I am struggling.  I don't know whether or not if struggling means that I am at least fighting to do what I know to be the right thing to do or not.  I have often laughed at cartoons when I see the devil on one shoulder and Christ on the other shoulder, both petitioning their point to that character.  That's what it's like when we are struggling.  Suddenly that cartoon doesn't seem so funny to me, especially when I am dealing with the spirit realm.

I asked my Heavenly Father, "Why don't I do what you want me to do? This should be very easy, just pray and the struggling will be over."  My Father's answer to me was, "Because you are dealing with a spirit of rebellion and disobedience."  That was a hard pill for me to swallow.  When my Father said the word 'rebellion', that stuck with me and it hit me hard.  It hit me hard because I never looked at my not doing what I know to do, as 'rebellion'.  My Father didn't sugar coat His answer to me and therefore it hurt.  The reason why it hurt me so much is that I really love the Lord and being 'rebellious' to Him, made me feel horrible.  My next question to my Father was, "Forgive me, what do I do?"   My Father's answer to me, "ENDURE HARDSHIP".

I have a book that I used as a reference when dealing with stronghold's.  This book gives you the root of the problem (spirit) and what to bind and loose in prayer.  The Holy Spirit had me to go to that book and look up 'rebellion'.  Under 'rebellion' there were 11 demonic spirits.  Being honest with myself, I was dealing with 5 of them: Idleness, Contentious, Rejection of God, Self-Deception and Rebellion.  God says, "These are all works of the flesh".  How do I fit into those categories?  I am idolizing that thing that I keep doing wrong; I am rejecting God because I am doing wrong, I am deceiving myself into thinking, I can handle it on my own; therefore 'rebellious'.  LET'S PRAY!

Heavenly Father, please forgive me for my sins.  Everything that I say, do or even have in my heart that does not glorify You in Heaven.  Father, forgive me for being rebellious in the things that I know to do right, but don't.  Father, I ask that you strengthen me as I endure hardship, I speak over my life by the power of the Holy Spirit, that is within me, greater is He that is in me than any demonic spirit.  I will no longer seek the things of the flesh but the things of the spirit.  I speak that no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper and no spirit will rule over my life but the Spirit of the Living God, in Jesus name, Amen.

GO FOR THE GOLD

Hello, Mighty Woman of God.  I speak blessings upon your life and your entire household.  This week we are going to GO FOR THE GOLD!  I am going to give the messages from the book of Hebrews the 12th Chapter.

(Hebrews 12:1-4), Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.  Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right had of the throne of God.  Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lost heart. In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.

The other day I was watching the Olympics and they showed a commercial about how much it takes for people to compete in the Olympics.  To be in the Olympics, you have to start practicing your sport at a very young age, some at the age of 3.  The person that has tried out and competed in the Olympics has most likely gave up a lot of things.  That person stays focus on the goal that they have placed in their mind that they want to achieve.  Through falling, sweating, swollen hands, fingers and ankles.  Sprung wrist and toes; people go through a lot to achieve that one goal, which is to compete in the Olympics.  They spend every waking moment practicing and getting their mind set to the point where they seem to eat and breathe their particular sport.  That person has endured some of the toughest things that we probably would quit.

Jesus Christ went through much more that we could every imagine.  When I watch the movie, The Passion of Christ, it is very hard for me to watch as even the actor goes through the pain.  Even though I know that this is a movie and the man is acting a role.  But what I do know is that Jesus Christ went through everything that was going on in the movie.  Jesus was whipped with something called catanine tails.  That actually pulls your skin off each time you use it.

Sin hinders us from getting God's best.  That thing that you know God wants you to be delivered from or that person, place or things that is keeping us from running the race with everything within us.  We don't want to suffer for 5 minutes let alone 5 years.  When dealing with that sin that is keeping us out of the race, we have to fix our eyes on the prize (Jesus).  Have the faith that He will walk with you through your pain.  It is painful to give up something that we have been doing for years.  Deliverance can be painful, but think on this:  Have you been whipped, has anyone put a crown of thorns on your head, do you have nails pierced through your skin.  Jesus endured, so that we don't have too.  Jesus endured all the way unto death.  Are you willing to just sweat a little bit? LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I praise you on today, Lord I ask that you create in me a clean heart and right spirit.  Comfort me and walk with me as I go through my deliverance.  That thing Lord that you know I need to let go of.  I pray that you renew my mind so that I can run this race and glorify You.  Lord when I think that I can't make it or I want to give up, I will keep in my mind that Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior never gave up and He did it for me, in Jesus name Amen!
