CATCH ME WHEN I FALL

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank and praise God for you and the ministry daily.  Thank you for reading blogs.  I pray that each of you grow in the Lord and keep a close relationship with Christ.

I remember the day that I had to finally come clean with my parents about how bad my drug addiction had become.  I had a nice apartment, nice job and two children.   I was at work that day and the neighbor called and told me that people where throwing my stuff out of my apartment.  She also said that other people where taking stuff to their apartments.  I left work immediately only to find out that the sheriff had the right to go into my apartment and literally evict me.  Some of my furniture was already gone and so I had to focus on getting most of my children's items.

I called my best friend and she came to help me gather the rest of my belongings and put them in her car.  Now I had to confront my parents.  I had nowhere else to go and I needed to have a place for my children.  I didn't want my mother to know that I was addicted to cocaine so when we got to the house I just sat in my friends car crying.  She said, "what do you think will happen to your mother once you tell her?  Do you  think that she will die?"  I pondered on that for a moment and realized that she had helped me to get out of the car.

Well after having a family intervention it was decided that I would admit myself into drug rehab and my oldest sister would take care of both my children.  My mother went through the process of admitting me into the center and then she left.  I never thought about how much it actually hurt her knowing that I was addicted to cocaine.  One thing that I do know is that she did not die when she found out.  She was there for me the whole way.  She did what mother's are supposed to do, "catch you when you fall."

Maybe you have fallen a little bit and don't want to ask for help.  I want you to know that no matter how hard you may have fallen, God will "catch you when you fall".  No matter how many times you fall, God will "catch you when you fall".  The only thing that you have to do is to lift up your hand to Him.  If your earthly mother will "catch you when you fall", how much more do you think that God will do the same.  If you are in a situation right now and things seem to be crumbling all around you, lift up your hand and grab a hold of Christ, He will "catch you when you fall".  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for always being here for me.  Lord, each time that I have fallen, you have always caught me.  Lord, I thank you for having mercy on me during the times that I have fallen.  I love you and adore you for all that you have done for me and are doing for me right now, in Jesus name, Amen.

CALLER I.D.

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I'm sure you know what 'Caller I.D.' is. Refresher; when your phone rings, a message comes up with the callers identification. The callers name and number comes up on your screen. I'm going over this because some of us have had it for so long, that we may have forgot the purpose or don't really care, just glad to have it.

Imagine that God had a phone. Imagine that God would answer prayers, by phone. Now, here we go. You call on the Lord and He looks at His phone and the 'caller I.D'. says unknown number. Your friend that goes to church every Sunday makes a call and the 'caller I.D'. says 1800 number. You have another friend that doesn't attend church regularly, but is on her face everyday in prayer and constant communication with the Lord, that makes a call and 'caller I.D.' says, Jane Doe. All three of these calls come in at the same time.

If it were you, you would probably answer the call that you recognize first. You're not going to put your friend on hold because she's crying and need your help now. So the other two calls go straight to missed call.

My question for you today is, Does God have you on His 'caller I.D'. or will you be a missed call? The first person calls on the Lord just whenever she has a problems, the second calls only when shes in church and the third person calls all the time (whether in church or not).
The bible says in 'seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all its righteousness and these things will be added unto you.
This scripture simply means, instead of always asking God for something, everyday, one thing after another, like He's our spiritual Santa Claus) we are to seek Him daily all .....things will be given to us. What things? Whatever your hearts desire. You see God knows what you are in need of, way before you ask. Try just worshipping and praising Him for one week (not asking for anything) and watch what the Lord will do for you.

I don't just sit here and type because I have nothing else to do. I do it because of my love for the people of God and the ministry. God wants to birth something new in all of us, and everyday that I leave His message, I am also blessed with a message. Jesus is a part of me and if you are reading these messages that He has for you, then at least try what He gives me to give to you. Again, I am serious about the Lord and I don't play with God's people. This Blog is to glorify God, not me. I am just being obedient. LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your messages on today. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. Lord, today I want to just love on You. You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords, I worship and adore You. You are splendid in all Your ways. Thank you, Lord for Your Blood that covers me. Lord, You know all my wants and needs on today, so I am just going to give You praise for everything You have done for me in the past and going to do in the future. Lord, if You don't do anything else for me, Your dying for me is already enough. Lord Jesus, help me to have a closer relationship with you, that the day I call upon Your name, I will be recognized as Your child. Lord Jesus, You alone deserve all the honor. I Love You, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

A MOTHER'S LOVE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I pray that you are blessed and highly favored of the Lord on today.  I speak peace into your life.  I pray that you are being fed through "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry".  God bless you.

One thing that I have learned is that once you are a mother, you are a mother for life.  There is no such thing as when they are grown and leave the home, you are done with your children.  It seems that once they leave the nest, they need more of their mother's love.  I remember my mother telling me that you never stop being a mother.  That's what her mother told her, and that's what she told me.  At the time I still had babies, so I did not fully understand what she was talking about.

I realize that you tend to worry more about your children once they are not in your presence.  You wonder if they are doing well.  It is a mother's instinct to always protect their children.  You wish you could go to school with them to make sure they are okay.  You wish that you could take away every hurt or disappointment that they will go through in life.  Your job is to teach and guide them, getting them ready for the cruel world awaiting them.  No matter how much you try, you can never fully prepare them for the trials that they must face on their own.  You can only hope and pray that they will do the right thing or that you have prepared them for life's lessons.

Woman of God, mother, you have to release your children to the world.  I know that there will be times that you wish that you can take their pains away but they must go through them.  If you never let them go through their trials and tribulations on their own that will have learned nothing.  They have to experience their own highs and lows.  Their own lights and darkness's, their own black and whites, their own colors in life.  It's okay to let them know that you are always there for them, but you can't take away their life's lessons.  You have yours and they must have their own.  Your daughters will definitely call you someday crying about something that she's going through.  You will have the answers for her, but it is ultimately her decision to take your advice or keep going in the direction that she chooses.  Sons are harder.  They don't call mom as much.  It doesn't mean they love you less, they just don't call as much and you will find yourself worrying more about your sons well-being than the daughter that calls crying.  I have two grown children and I have not released them yet.  They don't live at home but my heart and mind just can't seem to let go.  My son is 29 and I still have not let go.  My daughter is 25 and I still wish that I could go through her life for her.

My suggestion is that you trust God for your children.  I am still learning how to do that myself.  Trust God to take care of them.  This will require lots of prayer on your behalf.  You will have to be your childrens prayer intercessor.  God wants you to trust Him to care for your children, after all, they really belong to Him.  Your job as a mother is to let your children see you as a strong mother and woman of God.  A mother that they will call blessed.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I thank and praise you for my children.  Lord, you said that the fruit of my womb is blessed and I speak those blessings over my children right now.  Lord, help me to trust you more for my children.  Lord, I pray that you will hear my prayers for them, as I intercede on their behalf.  Keep watch over your children Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.

ROCKING CHAIRS

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank you for reading the Lord's messages.  My prayer for you and this ministry is that you are blessed by the Word of God and that you are truly growing spiritually in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I love rocking chairs.  You can sit in a rocking chair and fall asleep.  I have used a rocking chair to put my children to sleep. Babies love to be rocked to sleep.  Rocking chairs can serve a lot of different purposes.  ROCKING IN A CHAIR GIVES YOU SOMETHING TO DO . . .  BUT IT GETS YOU NOWHERE.

Yes, a rocking chair gives you something to do; but you don't get anywhere rocking back and forth.  Some of us our living our Christian life like a rocking chair.  You only attend church on Sundays just because it is Sunday.  Limiting your Christian walk to just praising and worshipping on Sundays gives you something to do; but it will ultimately get you nowhere.

The point that I am trying to make is that you need to seek God more than just on Sundays.  If you are only limiting your prayer life to Sundays, you are selling yourself short.  You are missing out on a lot of blessings from the Lord.  Your Christian walk should consist of constant prayer and praise to God.  If you are only going back and forth to Sunday services, you are not reaping the full benefits of the Holy Spirit in your life.  The only thing you are doing is going back and forth in circumstances in your life.  You are preached happy on Sunday, but what do you do to keep the Spirit of the Lord resting upon you during the rest of the week.

To be a Christian is simply saying that you want to be Christ-like.  Jesus Christ did not simply teach or heal because of a special day of the week.  Jesus walked teaching and healing on a daily basis.  He prayed to God the Father on daily basis.  He had a relationship with the disciples, not just on Sundays.  The pharisees tried to put Him in jail because he performed a miracle on the Sabbath.  I am sure that you are expecting God to bless you everyday.  And everyday that you wake up in your right mind is a blessing from God.  God does not limit His blessings, favor, grace or mercy to a particular day.  Don't limit yourself to just prayer, worship or praise to a particular day.  You need to move into the spot where God can use you to be a testimony of His love towards us.  Don't treat your Christian walk to just moving back and forth, you just need to move forth.  Allow the Lord to use you to be a blessing to someone else, that's what being a Christian is all about.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I pray that you help me to move forth in my walk with You.  My desire is to have a closer walk with you.  I am a Christian and would like to be more like Christ.  I no longer want to be a Christian just on Sundays.  Lord, I pray that you remove any obstacles in my life that is keeping me from glorifying You the way you deserve, in Jesus name, Amen.

TROUBLE THE WATERS

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank and praise God for each of you; you are continually in my prayers.  I pray that the Lord's messages are spiritually enrichings to your souls.

(John 5:2-8) Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.  In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.  For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.  And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

This certain man had been at the pool waiting for a miracle for 38 years.  Every season when the angel would trouble the waters, someone else would get their blessing of healing.  This man was too slow and he also depended on someone else to get him to the pool before anyone else.  Because of his infirmity, he was not able to pick himself up and get into the pool first.  Jesus approaches him and asked why he was still sitting at the pool after all these years.  The man states that every time he tries to get there first someone else beats him to their blessing.  The man also tells Jesus that he did not have anyone to put him in the pool so that he could be made whole.  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed and walk.

Woman of God, Jesus wants you to 'trouble the waters'.  If you have been waiting a long time to be blessed in any aspect of your life; it's time for you to 'trouble the waters' yourself.  You can not afford to wait on a friend to help you out of your situation, you have to press your way through your circumstances.  Jesus was not unknowledgeable about the man's infirmity or how long he had been waiting for a healing.  Jesus also knows how long you have been waiting for your blessing and he wants you to rise and walk with Him.

Why are you waiting for someone else to help you?  Why are you still in the same spot where you were when you first got saved?  Why do you think that your friends can or even desire to help you? Sometimes your friends will rather have you sitting and waiting with them, rather than see you get up without them.  Sure, they may say that they only want whats best for you, but sometimes they are not friends, but only acquaintances.  Acquaintances will sit with you in your mess.  Friends will try to pick you up and lead you in the right direction, so that you will be whole.  Why not make up in your mind to 'trouble the waters' for yourself.  Take the first step towards Jesus, grab Him by the hand, pick up your bed and walk.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I give you all praise and honor on today.  Lord I am tired of waiting for someone else to make a difference in my life.  Lord, show me how to depend solely on You and my Lord and Savior.  My miracle worker, my healer.  Lord, I pray for wisdom and knowledge concerning my circumstances and how to walk out of it.  Lord, I pray that you teach me how to trouble the waters so that I may be made whole, in Jesus name, Amen.

THE CYCLE

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

I thank God for each of you in "Spiritual Growth for Women Ministry".  I pray that you are being spiritually fed as you read the Lord's messages on my blog.  God bless you.

I am going to tell you a short story; let's see if you can relate to it.  It has been about 3 months and today you are getting flowers and candy for your trouble.  Why are you getting flowers?  Is it just because I love you, or is it because you gave him another chance?  Three months ago your black eye was covered with makeup so your friends and family will not notice.  Three months ago the police came to your door to arrest him.  Three months ago, you should have gone to court for an order of protection, but you just couldn't because you love him.  Three months ago, he said he would never hit you again.  Three months ago, was the first time anything like that has ever happened in your relationship.

The Cycle:  What is the cycle?  Well, since I have been in a cycle such as this; I can tell you exactly how it goes.  The first time you were hit, you were stunned, you couldn't believe that he would put his hands on you.  He says, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I will never do that again if you forgive me".  The next day you get flowers or some other kind of gift to pacify your anger.  He is acting good for the next couple of months.  Things seem to be getting back to normal.  What is normal to you?

Now you are arguing over something fairly simply and he hits you again.  This time you call the police, they take pictures, he goes to jail for 24 hours and you get another court date.  You don't show up again because you love him.  He looks so sorrowful, you can't stand to see him in jail attire.  You don't press charges because you love him.  Even though you have changed the locks, you decide to give him a new key.  He's back in and you get another gift and another, "I'm sorry".  Sometimes the fights get violent and sometimes you are just scared to death that they will.  This is "the cycle".  This cycle of events will never stop.  You are being controlled by this man in every aspect of your life.  You have children by him and you want your children to have a father.

Woman of God, I want you to know that over half the women that are in prison are there because of domestic violence.  You would think that the man should be in prison but he is not because he is no longer around.  You cannot live in an abusive relationship.  You have to think about your safety for your children, they want their mother around, always.  There are countless of women in prison because they had reached their level of "I can't take this anymore".  You never know what your breaking point might be.  There is a strong possibility that you will reach your breaking point and actually kill your abuser.  It is very possible, that is why the prisons are filled with women that have killed their abuser.  There abuser may be a spouse or a father that has sexually abused them.  It is very important to get out of an abusive relationship for your life.  Your children don't want to see their mother being hurt, it can cause mental damage.  I know that it is hard to get out and stay out.  But please consider making a commitment to yourself and children that you deserve better than how you are being treated.  LET US PRAY!

Heavenly Father, I am praying for the women today, that may be in an abusive relationship.  Lord, I am praying for their strength and power to take back their lives.  Lord, I pray for their safety as they try to live a life of peace, without abuse.  Father God, I am asking that you speak to their hearts and let the women know that you have a better life for them.  Father God, I am praying that you get the glory for their deliverance.  Lord, help them every step of the way, in Jesus name, Amen.

MOTHER, MOM, MOMMY

Good Morning, Mighty Woman of God!

One day I read something on Facebook that was so disturbing to my spirit.  It was mainly concerning the relationship between a mother and a daughter.  The daughter is very upset with her mother, so much to the point that she basically states that she hates her mother. She has no relationship with her mother, other than to curse her out and remind her that she was never there for her.  I am hurting and praying for both of the women in this relationship.  I know that the mother is in pain over her daughters issues with her and I know that the daughter is in pain.  I want you both to be released from past hurts and disappointments.

Forgive your mother.  Pray for your mothers well-being and her peace of mind.  You have to pray for her because she knows the mistakes she made with you. Even if she never admits it, she is well aware of how you feel.  Praying for your mother will give you the deliverance that you need.  Mother, if you are reading this, pray for your daughter this will help you to get a release from God concerning your shortcomings and mistakes that you might had made.

You have to pray for your mother and keep praying until you have the ability to love her inspite of her shortcomings. If you do not break that curse it will carry on for generation after generation.  Life is too short and there are no guarantees that your mother will wake up in the morning.  Forgive your mother now, because if she passes away before you have the opportunity to develop a relationship with her you will have a hard time forgiving yourself.

I do not want you to misunderstand me, daughter.  I feel your pain.  I know exactly what you are going through and what you've been through.  I do not take your pain lightly.  I just want you to be free from all your past hurts and disappointments you have had with your mother.  You are in a lot of pain, regardless of the fact that you say you have gotten over the fact that you have not called her mom in years.  That tells me that you are in pain.  Take sometime for yourself to heal, but you cannot get there until you release your mother from her shortcomings.  I love you and this is the reason why I am trying to encourage you and keep you uplifted in the Lord.  I also want you to consider using your pain and anger that you have against your mother to be a testimony for someone else that is probably going through the same things right now.  I promise you, you are not the only one.  Push pass all your disappointments and let God heal you so that you can minister to someone else.  God doesn't make mistakes, you are not a mistake.  God knew that you were going to go though exactly what you are going through right now, let God heal you daughter.
